I attended an art gallery opening for a few abstract pieces as you see. There was also a bartender present which was a nice added touch to set the mood. We had a great time working with Sharespace and it's great staff to produce an independent charity film premiere for 'So Far Close 2' which was filmed locally here in Houston, Texas. The newest facility off of Naylor St. (near UH Downtown) is a state of the art facility equipped with every amenity needed to successfully produce all types of premier live events. The space was very big and able to accommodate a well sized crowd which you can see in the pictures below. It's definitely a place that we'd love to use again and will use in the future. I can 100% recommend their venue for any type of event you're interested in producing, whether it be a party, film premiere, fashion show or even just a workshop - its the best option in Houston! This place was one of the most all around aesthetically pleasing halls for an event that I've ever visited. There's a multi person swing, and every corner seems good for photos. Minimal but colorful. Good lighting. Love the ambiance! My Only gripe would be PARKING! Your guest will still need to pay for parking as is limited on the facility. Hopefully the WORLD SERIES will not be going on at the same time! lol! read more

I went to the Sharaspace for a family members baby shower! This event space was nice and spacious, it is easily decorated and has kitchen, sitting area, restrooms and actual space for the event. I loved the concept of renting this want to give this event space a 5, but it has one drawback. The parking should be included in the events cost. read more

This was an amazing venue for my husband's surprise 40th birthday party! I would recommend this space for hosting parties for any age. The staff was very helpful and responsive to all of our needs. The parking is right next to the building, so no need to walk a long distance. We were able to transform the space into the vision we had. There was plenty of room for dancing, eating, and decor. I love that we could had separate spaces for the food and bar areas. We had plenty of time for set up and break down. I have no complaints about the venue or service. I found this place on AirBnB while looking for a spot to have a bachelorette party. I instantly fell in love with the character and flexibility of the space. To my surprise, a friend of mine rented Sharespace for her baby shower, so I had to opportunity to experience this space and check it out for myself. The main room is captivating and is large enough to house at least 50 people comfortably (if not more). The restrooms could use some updating, but they were clean and nicely sized. For whatever reason, it was difficult to turn the speaker system on, but overall everything else functioned properly. I would love to host an event here! read more

This is almost 2 years late, BUT let me tell you the experience is still fresh in my mind. My bf & I booked their Berry at location 4th of July weekend 2019 for the babyshower of our very first child. From start to finish it was amazing. The staff, the process, the rules, the actual venue itself all superb. Anytime I had a question prior to booking, after booking, and even on the day of the event the staff made things easy and they were super understanding. The venue was clean, gorgeous, spacious and exactly what you see online. I also love that you get to tour the space before your event day so that you can properly plan your day. We had such a positive experience that we are looking into some of their other locations to book for both our wedding and the reception! read more

On Saturday, January23, I attended a bridal shower at the Preston location & had a great time. However, as the guest were leaving, all our vehicles (10) were booted and had to pay $113.25 each to Premier Parking to have the boot removed. Needless to say, the bride to be was heartbroken about what happen to her guest. The event planner stated the rep at Sharespace never disclose to her that the parking lot next to their building did not belong to them & the guest should pay to park in the lot not are there warning signs posted on their building. The same goes for Premier Parking....appears to be a racket. Renter beware!! read more

This space is AHH-MAZING! It's a warehouse that's been renovated to be an event space, as well as an AirBNB rental. There are bedrooms (didn't use) and 2 full bathrooms with showers, kitchen, side room (coat storage, purse storage, etc) and a giant swing that is sure to get both young and young-at-heart ready to parrrrrtay! I hosted a coed baby shower for approx 50 people, but could've easily had double that amount of people in the space. It has a large open central floor space that is literally a blank canvas to explore your creative decor side. There's even a photo booth that you can rent, which I did. Amazing way to document the day and have people take home a party favor. I brought my own SONOS speaker system, so I can't speak to the system that's mentioned to be on site. There are plenty of white plastic chairs (IKEA?) and tables that you can EASILY assemble for your use. Additionally, there is a full kitchen with plenty of kitchenware and utensils, though I didn't use any. As another reviewer mentioned, the bathrooms could use some updating, but they were clean, well sized and had plenty of toiletries on site. The space has 4 parking spots right out front, but there is PLENTY of free street parking on either side of the 2-way street (Preston). The owner was easy to communicate with and answered any questions I had on the fly. I will ABSOLUTELY, without a doubt, rent this space again in the future. Great location in the EADO area with ample parking for a party, shower, fashion show, etc. I launched a series of Branding and PR Classes here and the crowd LOVED the content, location, quirkiness and space! To find a parking spot is always challenge in downtown.Sharespace was located near baseball and soccer stadiums.When Astros or Dynamo have games, It would be hard for you to find a free parking spot.Please check Astros and Dynamo schedule. The party was great!Although it was raining, many people came.People asked me to take selfie with my Pikachu! I was at a Photo Booth! I brought a little Pikachu and Hello Kitty, People wanted to take pictures with them.Some time , people tried to catch Pikachu. Sorry.I was busy with my job. We chose to have a simple wedding/reception here because of the fun, quirky atmosphere that this venue gave off. It was reasonably priced and they had everything that we could possibly need; ranging from tables and chairs, to surround sound speakers, to plates and silverware. I loved that the majority of wall space was white, so that we could add our own personal touches to it. It made it very easy to incorporate a bright colored wedding theme. There was plenty of space for a buffet-style food presentation, as well as enough room for a nice dance floor. Teya was readily available with any questions or concerns that I had. I went to a friends wedding shower here. I really cannot believe they closed their parking lot to sell parking for the Dynamo game when they had people renting out their space for an event. I drove around for 30 minutes trying to find parking spot and not to mention had to pay for it. The space was nice but extremely hot, especially when it filled up with people. If people are paying to use your space you should at least provide them with ample parking, or worn your renters of the events going on in the area so they can let their guests know. read more

My husband and I recently had a small wedding reception here and I cannot say enough good things about Sharespace. The building itself has that industrial feel with exposed rafters which I absolutely love! It was really a blank space for my friends and I to decorate it however we wanted. We opted for an overnight stay so we had the space from Saturday, 12pm through Sunday, 11am. When we checked in, Teya advised it was really supposed to be 10am but since we were already working towards 11am, she agreed to keep it at 11am. We had access to the 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, small study (which we used for the buffet serving line) and full kitchen. The space comes with a huge swing in the front room which seems odd but it was a party favorite, tables, chairs and a few other cute pieces of furniture. The main room is huge, we fit about 100 people seated at tables (we rented 3 more tables). It was really easy to find and the parking in the front was enough for my family and friends to park. There is a parking lot next door but since there was an Astros game, they were charging $15. The only downside was that it rained so water was coming in through the front door.
