It was as a great experience and a beautiful venue. I attended for a friend' wedding. I was told the side the side I was on there's also a larger side. This one had a chapel and a reception area and then an upstairs reception area all very elegant. I got there early enough to be able to view the changing area for the groom, which is to the left when you come into the venue. The reception area was pretty large enough to hold 2 to 300 people with a built-in bar downstairs. It was a great event venue. read more

We attended a Valentine's Candlelight concert. It was fabulous, Great venue and a Fantastic string quaurtet.

Just had our wedding here. Beautiful venue with a ton of rooms/areas worth exploring. The food (we ended up doing a buffet) was phenomenal and they were very accommodating of other vendors and the decorations and such that we brought. We had some issues with a setup/breakdown company but Leslie, the other coordinators, and their crew stepped up to help pick up the slack. I cannot get over how much we all loved having the wedding at the Bell Tower. Our experience planning there was absolutely magical. Donna, our day of coordinator, may actually be an angel. Our process was so smooth and I felt comfortable asking any and all questions. They really took the reins on the wedding day and prevented me from any stress. The Bell Tower is a first class venue with excellent service from planning, communication, and execution of the event. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the same location and worked with Lisa our Coordinator along with Dana and Adrian who led the team during the celebration. The staff did an amazing job flipping the room and providing great service throughout the night! We received so many compliments from our guests of how beautiful the Bell Tower was with it's elegant plush but yet rustic look (you feel like you are somewhere in Italy) and how amazing the staff was with taking care of them. Also the food was so good as well! If you want to have your wedding or event in the Tuscany region but need to stay in Houston, then I highly recommend the Bell Tower for not only how beautiful and unique the venue is but also the people that guide you through your journey and provide a memorable experience. read more

We recently had our company party in honor of my awesomeness - ok kidding but we did have one. EVERYTHING about it was great. Where to begin - valets were friendly and tentative, the waitstaff helped and did it in such a way that it looked like they genuinely cared about the service (if you have ever had someone serve you that didn't look like they wanted to be there you can relate). As I don't really eat junk anymore the fruit we had to begin with was so FRESH and delicious - I can still remember that juicy watermelon mmmm. And don't even get me started on the entrees - the wait staff was kind enough to make sure I had enough food :D There is plenty of space to accommodate a large party without it feeling too stuffy. Highly Recommend! I wish we could give more than 5 stars for this amazing venue. The inside of the Bell Tower is so unique that I took pictures of hand carved doors and sculptured can-terra stone, while simply walking through the interior. The party we attended was unlike anything I've ever experienced. The party planner EXTRAORDINAIRE for our event managed to have multiple "surprises events, characters, and moments" throughout the entire evening. The suspense of anticipation of what was yet to come made the energy of the entire crowd completely in a state of awe. It made for a truly magical and unforgettable night. read more

Worst experience in my life! Yes, this place is beautiful and the service was acceptable UNTIL the rehearsal. My wedding party came from different parts of the world with delayed flights. My coordinator, Lisa made them feel so uncomfortable. She kept saying "rehearsal is 30 minutes!" I'm not sure how this is even possible, especially working with kids. Moving on to wedding day. Everything was extremely micromanage. It came time for the ceremony. The ladies realized we didn't have our bouquets while I was getting dressed. I told the employees exactly where they were. We were told, we didn't have time to (walk in ONE ROOM) to get MY BOUQUETS! Are you kidding me? I refused to come out. Later someone came into the bridal suite and said "we found one, which was mine." All bouquets were together, including the men's. They refused to listen, stating we were 10 minutes behind. WHO CARES? THE CEREMONY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT! Take time away from the reception. I was concerned about the day being rushed from the beginning and Lisa assured me, it would not be a problem. So concerned, I'd call to cancel and was told not to worry. This place also only allows 2 hours to set up for decorations, so unless youre 100% sure everything will run PERFECTLY, don't don't plan on having your dream wedding, unless you want to give them more $$$$ for additional time for decorations. Most venues allow access the morning before the wedding for setup. Long story short, my wedding party walked without bouquets. They found baby breath scraps that were left over from decorations and threw them in our bridal suite and said "here, let's go!" I spent thousands of dollars on flowers and were unable to use them. After the ceremony, I went directly to the bouquets in the exact place I said they were. Wedding photos ruined! Thanks Bell Tower! read more

What a beautiful venue! I had attended my cousins wedding and I must say this venue is sooo beautiful inside and out! Everything was amazing about her wedding! The staff here was friendly and very accommodating! He place was clean inside and out. My favorite has to be the waterfalls outside and the stairwell inside. We were originally scheduled to have our wedding at the Bell tower on 3/21/2020. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our March 2020 wedding at the Bell Tower because of the executive orders put in place by Governor Greg Abbot as the result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Bell Tower gave us an option to postpone our wedding until November 7, 2020. However, we had to cancel the November 2020 date because of a resurgence in coronavirus cases in Houston and across the country at that time. We decided to cancel our wedding indefinitely in August 2020 to adhere to the CDC guidelines, as our guestlist was more than the recommended amount  to remain compliant to the CDC COVID protocols. The Bell Tower has refused to reimburse any of the $11,932.29 that we paid for the event. The owner is selfishly keeping this money without having to render any service. Unlike the owner, We understand that $3,088.50 had to be paid to secure the wedding date. However, $8844.29 has been paid to the Bell Tower with NO consideration. In other words, we paid $8844.29, and the Bell Tower didn't provide us with any wedding or services for that manner. Per website (https://www.federalpay.org/paycheck-protection-program/bell-tower-group-llc-houston-tx) The venue received $373,200 in government support via the Paycheck Protection Loan as a result of the Coronavirus. To not consider refunding all but the deposit is callous, selfish, unreasonable and morally wrong. I hope that other people who are considering using the Bell Tower on 34th to host their events will strongly reconsider this venue based on how they treated us during a global pandemic that has taken the lives of hundreds of thousands of people and left millions without work in the United States alone. It is in times like this that your character as a business is important. read more

Ah no words could describe the most perfect wedding venue! It's so beautiful both inside and out. The process was so smooth and stress free honestly. Our coordinator, Damaris, was on top of everything. She made wonderful suggestions and overall made our experience so great. She followed up and was easily available by phone at any time of day as questions came up during wedding planning. I would def recommend booking with them - many vendors are familiar with them which makes finding vendors so easy! We used a lot of their recommended vendors as well. Well, the wedding is over and our experience with The Bell Tower was officially fantastic! Angie, our coordinator, was great! She responded to emails quickly and answered all our questions adequately and patiently. Having your wedding at The Bell Tower will lower your stress levels by a million. They help with everything and the staff is so, so, so professional and friendly. And you'll hardly need to decorate because the building and grounds are so beautiful, as is. The only minor issues were that sometimes the staff is TOO efficient. Some of our guests wanted more wedding cake, but the staff had already boxed it up as soon as the first round was served. They also only give you 2 hours in the bridal suite to get ready. Most people need more than 2 hours. If it's available, you can buy more time in the suite for $100 an hour. Not a huge deal, but kind of annoying Minor issues aside, we were thrilled with our wedding at The Bell Tower! GREAT staff, worth the money, beautiful place, and LOW STRESS! read more

I went to a friends wedding here. The place is immaculate! Pulling in through the gates reveals the gorgeous Bell Tower and beautiful botanical of plants all over. We got a chance to hang out by the waterfall and I must say it's gorgeous. We had a blast that night. The food was excellent and I would recommend this place to anyone. My friend who had the wedding there said they were taken care of several months out and all the way until the wedding was over, and the staff was always on top of their game. read more

I lived across the street from this place for about a year. When I first moved into the area, I was always curious what this venue was. Then I did more research and found out it was a beautiful event space for weddings and parties. Every weekend, I would see cars pile into this place and always wanting to enter! I had gotten invited to a wedding a little bit back and it was to be held here, I was super excited, then realized it was the same day I would be leaving for an international trip. So I would have to hold off and visiting this venue. Recently, my gf got an invite to her company party and it was to be held here! I was like we are definitely going. So upon arrival, this place basically only offers valet, there isn't much for street parking. They are quick and it is complimentary, just tips only. I didn't realize this place was so big and had multiple rooms. On this particular night we were placed in one of the smaller rooms =( But I must say even the smaller room was beautiful. Our wedding was on Friday, February 21, 2020. From the moment my now husband and I step foot into this venue, I immediately fell in love with how beautiful it was and can already picture myself walking down the aisle from the grand staircase in the Candela ballroom. We planned for a wedding for about 100-130 people so we picked the ceremony to be in Candela ballroom and reception in the Chandelier ballroom. What finalized our decision to go with Bell Tower was our event producer, Donna Chun, and all the courteous staff there. Donna is the sweetest and most kindest person! She responded to all my endless questions through email and helped made all requests possible. Donna was phenomenal. She kept the wedding schedule on point. She made sure we had food at our table AND she made sure we got our boba drinks!!! We are so glad we met Donna and trusted in her on the biggest night of our lives. Aside from our wonderful Donna, we also had tremendous help from the staff at Bell Tower. On the day of the wedding, the bridal and groom suite was supplied with beverages and snacks. It was such a nice touch on our wedding day and made us felt very special! During the wedding, our guests were so pleased with every single detail. Chef and his team definitely won the crowd over with all the delicious food! We originally menu tasted the Traditional Menu but later changed to the Asian Menu to better accommodate our guests' cuisine preference. The guests couldn't stop raving about the asparagus soup, Peking duck, fried tofu (big hit for our vegetarian guests), special chicken dish prepared by Chef (super juicy and moist), miso sea bass (star of the show, still dreaming about it!), grilled vegetables, vegetarian fried rice, and to top it all off, taro dessert in martini glasses at the end. Along with the Asian Menu, we also had the open bar. The bar staff was absolutely wonderful for keeping up with all of our guests' wild requests. Some of our guests had the best time at our wedding because of the wonderful bar service! We also went with the photobooth by Bell Tower which everyone enjoyed, including ourselves! They provided us with a guestbook filled with copies of the pictures and an online access! We didn't catch the attendant's name but he was very sweet and helped made the guestbook looked amazing! If you are hesitant about choosing Bell Tower as your wedding venue, we highly recommend it. They took such good care of everything from the beginning to the end. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and the staff is first class. There are so many details to worry about as a bride and the Bell Tower does a great job of alleviating a lot of the stress. More specifically our coordinator, Angie Stubler, was the real MVP. We could not have asked for a better coordinator. She kept us on time, helped calm me down when I was feeling overwhelmed throughout the process, handled all the details, and made sure the wedding ran smoothly. She was always prompt with email responses. She was a great communicator and fabulous to work with. I would definitely recommend the Bell Tower, and I would personally request Angie as your coordinator. She goes above and beyond and her level of professionalism is unbeatable. I was reluctant to leave this review, but after reading Rogers responses I felt compelled to tell of my experience with Bell Tower. The venue was beautiful which is why it was one of our top choices. We were very excited to take our tour and expected that the quality of service would match the beauty of the facility. Unfortunately we were sadly mistaken. We met with our tour guide Damaris and although she was slightly pleasant, she was rushing us through the tour. We had several questions regarding the venue, understandably, and it seemed as if it was not interested in deviating from her script. The worst part was once the tour was over and we were going over pricing. She kept saying "I know this is scary" when referring to the pricing. Not one time did we even allude to the fact that the prices were high nor scary. In fact, we are totally expecting to pay over 50k, however we want our guests to have an exceptional experience. We do not want them to have to walk outside in winter to go from the ceremony to the reception. We don't want them to be rushed and we certainly don't want them to have bad service. After reading the bad reviews and Rogers responses, we are confident we made the right decision to go with a different venue. Contrary to Rogers belief, first impressions are everything. When you are planning on spending 50K, you expect excellent service from the first meeting. If not, how do you know that you are going to get it once the money is paid? "This is a BEAUTIFUL place to get married in. If you can get over the slightly awkward layout in some rooms, then this place gives the perfect look to any elegant wedding. Leading up to the event, there was great communication and flexibility to accommodate me and my out-of-town fiance. We were satisfied with the professionalism and felt we could trust the venue with our day-of coordination. Unfortunately, we were not pleased with the end result day-of. We are very particular people and had just about everything laid out ourselves and shared with the appropriate parties in advance. The execution of our dream fell through in many areas, leaving us less than satisfied. Though our guests did not pick up on the ""issues"", which is of high importance to us, we knew what we wanted and the amazing-ness we wanted to portray and were disheartened when it didn't shine through. We shared every bit of what frustrated us day-of with the venue (from missing flowers to staff eating our cake while guests did not get any to families served last and others served after cake cutting). We appreciated that they accepted our feedback with an open mind and offered to compensate us. They refunded us $500 which was a kind gesture but does not quite make up for all of the ""damages"". Again, beautiful venue. Be sure to be very clear with your coordinator well in advance. If you think it's a no-brainer, explain it anyways. We understand no wedding day is ever ""perfect"". We do believe a lot of what frustrated us could have been avoided with proper preparation. We had an expectation based on all of the money we spent on this event. The Bell Tower simply cannot be beat on a quality-to-cost basis for an event. My wife and I had our wedding here and scrupulously compared and contrasted all Houston venues that would occupy 250 guests. When factoring in included flatware, linens, chairs, dinnerware and CIA-trained chefs in a romantic Spanish villa-inspired venue, we could not have found a better place. We truly had a great time at our wedding. Truly beautiful. Oh, I should add in addition to what everyone has already talked about, is how awesome their staff is, specifically our coordinator, Angie. She is the crown jewel of our experience at the BT. She could buckle down when discussing the details, big and small. However, in her super cool and laid back manner, she really went above and beyond whenever we had ideas that were thrown her way, out of the blue! We had an impromptu performance, children's game and a still life setup, that she took her time to rearrange during our reception. This place is a SCAM!!! I was engaged and planned to have my wedding here. First off, they don't allow outside catering. You are forced to go with their pre set menus. They also charge extra fees on top of everything and say it's for the drinks and staff (when clearly that's already being paid for in the expensive price tag). After we decided to call off the engagement, they refused to refund a dime of $6000 I paid.. What a total waste of money! I tried to move back the date and since I didn't do so by the 120 day window, they refused to make an exception and I can't move the date or use any of that money that is nonrefundable. On top of it, they made me sign a cancellation agreement to release my date so they can make more money off the date I already paid 6k on. They wouldn't even let me subcontract my date to another bride. They were not willing to compromise on anything. I suggest REALLY reading the fine print before signing anything here. The Bell Tower exceeded our expectations as the venue for my daughters wedding. Meredith was spectacular in meeting our needs and anticipating what we didn't even realize we would need. They made the wedding perfect with all the little extra surprises. Examples: Refreshments in the men and women's dressing rooms, the spot lights that feature the bride during the Grand Entrance. During the grand entrance they opened up the doors and my daughter in her wedding dress stood on the stairs beside her father, the spot lights glowed down beautifully. The scene was awesome. You could hear the guest gasping at the perfection of the view. Even the parking lot attendants are very helpful in greeting each guest and making sure they are directed to the correct area. The Bell Tower on 34th Street was the host of our magazine's Spring Event, celebrating our latest issue. It's a new venue and one of our noteworthy advertisers for this cycle. I had never been before, and didn't know what to expect from a venue located just outside of the Loop. I was worried that it would come across like a community center or dance hall or something like that, definately not a space that would be appealing to corporate event planners. I was completely wrong. The Bell Tower is like a bigger, even better version of Paraiso Maravilla off of Richmond. The interiors were stunning and authentically evoked the ambiance of Mediterranean villas in Southern Spain and Italy. I was working the party at the check-in table, so I didn't get a chance to fully explore, but I toured it casually and even then I didn't get to the full extent of the facility. The huge front ballroom branches off into reception areas to the left and to the back, and to the right there's a beautiful patio that's great to sit and chat in. Upstairs, there's distinct rooms for smaller events, and there's even a second-story to the chapel for large-scale weddings. I would seriously recommend this place to event planners who need to organize large-scale gatherings, especially weddings. The only drawback is the valet parking. There's only one way in and out the premises, which can lead to congestion and the parking lot is not yet paved, which may lead to dirty tires, but really that's not a complaint when the venue has the possibility of hosting great parties inside. read more

I had the pleasure of attending a wedding and reception at The Bell Tower last weekend. From start to finish, it was amazing! I'm not sure about the prices or how the staff is when you consult them for their services. I do know that while the actual event is taking place, the staff is incredibly attentive! As soon as the short wedding ceremony in the garden area was over, the doors were opened and hors d'ouerves were passed, champagne and wine glasses were full and handed out. After the wedding party completed their pictures, another set of interior doors was opened, and a beautiful room was set for dinner with a buffet line in an adjacent room. After dinner, another set of interior doors was opened to the dance floor with a live band/dj. My glass was always full, the food and bar lines were quick and even the valet at the end of the night when EVERYONE was leaving at the same time was fast! I heard this place is crazy expensive (and it is in an off-neighborhood), but I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great, beautiful reception facility. read more
