The manager found my ID card and credits cards but instead of returning the items, they decided to discuss an unpaid invoice for the wedding with me. I was so confused as to why on earth they were discussing this invoice with me. The manager implied that my belongings couldn't be returned unless the invoicr was paid. I ended up calling the cops to get them to agree to return my items and when I went to pick them up, the manager (Lidia) handed me a phone with the owner on the other side who kept talking about this unpaid invoice. I kept telling him and her that I was just a guest and had nothing to do with this invoice but they kept demanding that this invoice be paid. I ended up calling the cops again and then finally the manager returned my items. I would never attend another wedding at this venue or ever book with them.

Our assigned DJ was completely unprofessional. He had ample amount of time to fix the issue, call for help, or at least communicate the issue to someone after the ceremony and did not. Instead he went on with our grand entrance and first dance knowing the sound was completely screwed up. During our first dance he was crashing out, hands on head, pacing back and forth, not knowing what to do. If we could go back we would have been way more intentional in choosing a DJ. Music is such an important part of a wedding, we trusted EC Entertainment and they completely let us down. So many moments of our wedding that were supposed to be special were stolen from us. We will never get those back. No amount of apologies will fix it. Important to mention that our DJ also did not reach out to us for the first time until three days before our wedding. We would absolutely NOT recommend EC Entertainment to future couples, however we do wholeheartedly recommend Addison Woods as a venue. They handled the situation with grace, understanding and compassion. They did everything they could to make it right. They couldn't have known it was going to happen. Please learn from our mistake, do not hire EC Entertainment. Meet with other DJ companies and find your fit.

I will give this a solid four stars. Hopefully they can get more vendors to participate next year!

There was a stage for the guests of honor and it too was beautifully decorated. Nice dance floor and tables and chairs were plentiful. I didn't go to the restroom but my friend said it was nice. My only complaint is the parking spots were small and cramped. I parked away from the crowd because I didn't want dings and scrapes. The area is sketchy, that's not their fault but just be aware. I would not hesitate to host a party here.

Lynne is a like a magician and made everything so perfect for what The new Mr. and Mrs. Kern had envisioned. Our coordinator was new and did not follow, or forgot, our wishes. Many mistakes happened that showed her inexperience. We were hoping for a worry free experience due to the cost of the venue. Unfortunately, it was extremely stressful for many reasons. I truly wish they would have delivered as promised but they didn't. If I had the money it would have been better to go with another option. I hate the fact that my wife was distraught due to her experience here. To be fair, the chapel and location was great. However, their customer care team, financial team, wedding coordinator, and owner experience was abysmal.
