We never felt welcomed, and I will never forget walking in less than a week before my wedding (because my wedding planner changed a week before) and being scanned up and down by my old wedding planner and the management as I said hi and smiled to them, and didn't get a single response or smile in return as a walked by with my new wedding planner who was provided by Ashton Gardens. It is now November, and they still struggle with communication of whether a clothes steamer was left there. It's been over a month since I have reached out, I have reached out three times to a personal number and no response. Just about sums up the communication with said wedding planner for 14 months. The day of was a disaster and yelp would not let me type everything out because it was 'too negative'... when it was the order of events and how many things went wrong. Don't recommend. The food was delicious, the cake was amazing, and we received a lot of compliments from guests about the cake being the best they ever tasted. The DJ and photographer made everything fun.     My experience here was unfortunately defined by the hosting more than the food. Upon arrival, I saw…read morethe pan being prepared for paella and greeted the man and woman on the deck in front. They informed me they were going to an maje paella. I of course replied, 'I'm in!' My wife and kids inside, we were seated in an empty dining room and immediately informed of the number of reservations the restaurant was expecting, followed by a firm notice that our table would need to be turned within an hour and a half. She went on to inform us of how busy they expected to be that day. This was communicated before we were offered a wine menu, water, or any standard welcome. If I were looking to buy in or invest, it would be fine to discuss the ebb and flow of business but we wanted just to try a new place. I understand that reservation management is part of running a successful restaurant, but how that information is delivered matters a great deal. Leading with constraints rather than hospitality sets an uncomfortable tone -- particularly in a room with empty tables. A simple acknowledgment of the time window after seating, paired with the wine list and a warm greeting, would have made the same operational point without making guests feel like an inconvenience. Ultimately, we decided not to disrupt the reservations and spend our day elsewhere. I would encourage management to revisit front-of-house training. The first ninety seconds of a guest's experience shapes the entire meal, and prioritizing efficiency over welcome undermines whatever the kitchen has to offer. My prediction; less than two years this place will be up for lease.

    visited on a saturday evening. we walked in and was asked to sit at the bar (i'm assuming the empty…read moreseats were held for reservations) i asked the waitress if this was the past plane and level since the menu was very similar but condensed. she confirmed that meson sommelier is a rebrand of it. we ordered a few dishes: pan gallego (bread) , empanadas de solomillo de ternera, magret de pato (duck) , and costilla estofada al vino (braised ribs) the food was really good overall - however with the current portion and pricing i don't think it was worth it. when i came early 2024, the duck dish was at least 4 times the current size. just take a look at my photo, 4 small pieces at the size of the fork - essentially 4 bites for 25 dollars. i understand there's inflation - but i don't think the difference in quantity should be that drastic. they mentioned that everything on the menu was shareable family dishes - but everything was so small, it doesn't really seem like it's suppose to be shared.

    I've been trying to cancel a reservation for the last week and a half and have been unable to reach…read moreanyone at the office. Every time I've called the main number there is either no answer or the call gets transferred to a spanish speaking operator who is in another country. I emailed the business and did receive a response several days later stating that I would get an email to sign a cancellation document, that was on Friday, October 4th, today is Wednesday the 9th and still no response. I've even emailed them twice back since October 4th to follow up about the cancellation document and still have not heard back, Ive also continued to call numerous times and still nothing. The lady who initially signed our contract was Mrs Esmeralda Torres. Apparently she is no longer with the business, she was super helpful and would always be quick to answer the phone or answer any questions. It seems there is currently no one there during normal business hours. I even went to the business in person on Thursday, October 3rd during normal business hours to try and speak with someone but the gate was closed. I did happen to speak with a neighbor who lives next to the business and he informed me that the business was going through either management change or ownership change. I would rate the current status of this business as a 0/5 stars. If you have an event in the near future good luck working with management.

Because Brittney is our only daughter, and we were married 28 years ago, we really had no idea that weddings had changed so much from "way back on the day." It is also very important to mention that Brittney and David's idea for their wedding was not the traditional. Brittney does not like to wear dresses and they chose for the bride to wear boots and jeans because that is where she feels more comfortable. So many people judged her and looked down their noses at her for doing it that way. But, they held strong to what they wanted! Lynne never judged and never made Brittney feel any less a bride and for that, I will always be thankful. The wedding was beautiful! Lynne is a like a magician and made everything so perfect for what The new Mr. and Mrs. Kern had envisioned. The food that the bride and groom chose was a beef tips dish, with garlic mashed potatoes, a salad and veggies. It really was very tasty! The cakes were beautiful and the DJ was everything they could have asked for. He kept people up and dancing and enjoying the party! Thank you Shady Oaks for setting the scene for the first chapter of our daughter and son "in loves" book!
