We hired DJ Brothers for a Mardi Gras party on January 26, 2024 and can't be more pleased with how they (DJ Joey) performed. Their website is easy to navigate and allows you to outline what you want them to do and when during your event in timetable fashion. Playlists are also provided but they easily used a Spotify playlist we provided. DJ Joey contacted us by phone in advance to review our outline and obtain context on the general demographics of our guests. He arrived early and after meeting in person again reviewed the timetable for the evening. He flawlessly executed our outline and actually improved it. Bottom line, he had the dance floor full the entire evening. The light show we purchased was crazy good too for the price point ($150). Give this company your close consideration, you won't be sorry. Our wedding coordinator at our venue, Lindsay Lakes in Cypress, TX recommend DJ Brothers to us and I couldn't be happier that they did! We booked one of their DJs; DJ100, who was FABULOUS! He played songs pre and during our chapel wedding and then transitioned to the lodge for our reception and dance. We also hired Joey K (one of the owners of DJ Brothers) to perform our wedding ceremony. Joey, a Reverend licensed in TX, worked with us to design the personalized ceremony script and delivered it with such reverence and sincerity. We are blessed and forever thankful for the services provided during our wedding day! read more

I loved working with DJ brothers!! as a busy bride I was forgetting steps left right and all around! DJ brothers were extremely flexible and easy to work with. They helped me stay on track and guided me to the next step! Even the day of when I was running around like crazy their staff was extremely thoughtful and helped me remember the outline and order of events throughout the night. 100% would recommend this company for any event!! read more

DJ Brothers' Sunday evening package deal placed them in the top two lowest priced in town, and after a quick Starbucks meet up with Joey K. and negotiating our ceremony fee to be waived, we signed a contract. Their online system is really top notch and allowed us to customize every single song played at the wedding. It has spaces for each item like bridal party processional, first dance, cake cutting song, last song, etc. And also a system that allows you to completely customize your playlist for dancing, by "must play", nice to play, and "do not play." We had a call with our DJ, JR Hernandez, a couple days before the wedding and went over everything to make sure we were on the same page. The day of, he was there early and I didn't see him until I walked down the aisle, but all went well. He took a few requests (we told hi this was okay but he allows you to have the option for him to tell guests no) and played all our songs... He also made a few recommendations on our grand entrance and beginning our first dance. We chose "low to medium" interaction and he crushed it. I don't once remember thinking he was being cheesy or obtrusive- he made announcements when needed and just pumped the jams otherwise. For $500 even for our ceremony and 4 hour reception, I think we got a great deal with DJ Brothers. read more

The best DJ I have ever worked with. Totally MADE the wedding. My wedding wouldn't have been as awesome without these guys. I had even made last minute changes and they did everything perfectly on my special day. Very talented DJ. read more

DJ Brothers provided the music for our ceremony and reception and our DJ, Joey, was phenomenal! Before the wedding he quickly responded to any emails and questions I had and a few days before called and went over everything to make sure it was perfect. The online event planner made the process so smooth. We were able to input all songs and arrange the timeline of events for a perfect night. Joey played the exact music requested and even accommodated to fit our needs. He was very professional and helped get the guests dancing and made it a night to remember. We all had a blast and I am very grateful for Joey and DJ Brothers! THANK YOU, Joey! read more

Matt Wyatt with DJ Brothers was awesome! He even set up for the ceremony behind bushes at the front where you could not see him. He was right on queue for all of the songs. He also did a great job of getting the guests dancing at the reception and did this very cool thing to get the guests outside for the sparkler send off by starting a conga line. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that Joey K told us he was doing our wedding and without notification he changed us to Matt and we had specifically asked if he could do it and he said he could before we decided to go with them - but we were happy with Matt. We actually got to see Joey K do a wedding at the same place 2 weeks later and though the reception was just as great with Joey K, we thought Matt did a better job with the ceremony, being out of view and starting songs on time. Thanks Matt and DJ Brothers! read more

J.R. was amazing at my wedding! He called me a couple days before to go over ALL THE details and even helped me when I had some planning questions. During the wedding he was the perfect level of interactive and kept the party going. Joey was great with getting me set up, but one star removed because it was kind of hard to get ahold of people when I had questions and the response time for my emails took a while. For a bride to be with a million questions that was kind of stressful. But I would choose them again because in hindsight everything came out perfectly and they were the cheapest and best quality for what I paid. They have a lot of weddings under their belt and the online planning tool is amazing. read more

We hired Joey from DJ Brothers to play our wedding and were very pleased with the results. Joey did everything we asked of him: we wanted something low key and he knew how to get our families out of their seats without being cheesy. They have an online request system so we could set up song lists and timelines on our schedule. When our photographer spent too much time taking pictures and kept us away from the reception, he was able to keep the room entertained while they waited for the party to get started. He was dressed impeccably, his equipment was in great condition, his judgement was solid, and we had fun. What more could you ask for? read more

Highly recommend. These guys are professional and have their crap together. They played our wedding. Everything was on-time and well-done. Our DJ Tom was super nice and accomodating. A no-headache DJ is what you need for a wedding. read more

We used DJ Brothers for our Officiant, DJ, lighting and Photo-booth and couldn't have been more pleased. Joey/JR were incredible helping in the planning of the wedding with my numerous emails and calls. We even met a week before to finalize everything to make sure everything goes perfectly. Day of, everyone showed up right on time for set up and was absolutely seamless. Joey officiated our wedding and was great with on his part. JR DJ'd and MC'd our wedding and was fantastic...everyone had a great time and he played all the music we wanted. Photo-booth was a hit, open air booth with plenty of props...even had an attendant just for the booth. Everything was perfect and glad we booked them over everyone else...definitely recommend them. read more

Hi hello. We got a link to request songs. However, what we requested were straight up bangers. And you know what JOEY didn't play them. But we understand that all the songs can't be played so whatevs. I'm drunk by the way so don't listen to me. Joey meant well, he aight! read more

Jason was our DJ for our wedding. He went above and beyond our expectations. He kept in touch throughout the night to make sure he was meeting our expectations. He was also extremely friendly. He was so much more than just a DJ. He helped make our wedding a great environment and experience for everyone! read more

Matt was amazing! As the coordinator of a recent wedding at Canyonwood Ridge in Dripping Springs, Texas, Matt was absolutely amazing to work with. He really kept the dance floor going, has a great voice for MCing, knew the perfect things to say to the wedding guest and was great at handling all events throughout the night very well!! He even handled my last minute conga line out the door into their sparkler exit with flying colors. read more

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ service. Joey was a perfect Officiant and made us feel so comfortable. Sterling did an incredible job being our DJ. He made sure to be around when we needed him but also let us do our own thing and was the perfect amount of involvement in the reception. All of the songs I picked out were right on cue. I even had people at my reception mention how everything moved along so smoothly. All because of DJ brothers. Thank you so much! read more

They did wonderful! We had a lot of songs that needed to be timed correctly to have the desired outcome. They knocked it out of the park EVERY time! Couldnt be happier. Would use again for any event if needed!!! read more

I never really leave reviews but Im taking the time to write one here because I was VERY dissatisfied with DJ Brothers. I had my wedding 8/1/15 and the only reason I HAD to have them at my wedding was because it came with the venue Lindsay Lakes which that place was horrible aswell but that's a different story. I was told DJ Brothers was really good and they had any kind of music etc etc when I booked the venue. I was also told the guy who would MC and DJ on my wedding day would contact me a week before the wedding day to go over everything. About a month before the wedding I tried multiple times to get a hold of the DJ because I wanted to see if they could mix a few songs for my first dance but I never could get a hold of them. Finally Joey called days after to just say it would be $25 if I wanted that done. I also told him I would like to meet with the one who would be at my wedding to go over things and he said Jair I think his name was would contact me a week before the weeding to go over everything. I did not get a call until the night before my wedding day and that's because I bugged so much for somebody to please contact me. The day of the wedding everything was so disorganized. Him and Lindsay Lakes coordinator were not working together at all. Im the bride and I had to be going to him everytime I wanted sonething done . If he would've cared a little about my wedding and contacted me before the wedding to go over details things wouldnt have been a disaster. My guest were not happy with the music, I specifically told them I wanted more Latin music and specifically told them the names of the songs and artist but when I got in their website to put in my music I wanted they had almost none of the songs my guest requested. Music is one of the most important things in a wedding and for mine it was horrible. The sound was also very low. When we had our first dance it was was so low people did not enjoy it. Overall I was very dissatisfied with DJ Brothers. read more

I cannot recommend DJ Brothers enough. My husband and I were lucky enough to have JR with us at our wedding, and his patience, kindness, and calming presence were exactly what we needed. We did not give him an easy event (torrential downpour + multiple locations + very specific playlists, oh my!), and he handled it like a champ. Additionally, I am pretty technologically incompetent so I had some difficulty with the website interface. JR and his brother walked me through everything without making me feel like a burden or a nuisance. I think people underestimate what it takes to make a really great DJ, and I can say without a doubt that DJ Brothers have figured out the formula. Along with many of our guests, I work in the wedding/events business, and so we've seen our fair share of bad DJs. In addition to being the nicest person ever, JR was great at reading the vibe & playing just the right song at the right time. Needless to say, we were blown away. Thanks again for helping us create a night we will never forget! read more

Hired DJ Brothers for a wedding which was in October 2017. Couldn't have been more pleased with the professional experience and was completely happy with Sean as our DJ. Very reliable and extremely professional. read more

Highly recommend DJ Brothers for your entertainment needs!! Jason was our wedding DJ for the evening, and we knew after our wedding-week phone call that we could rely on him 100%. We told him the type of music we wanted him to play and how involved we wanted him to be and he did exactly that. Great service and quality for an unbeatable price. read more

We hired DJ Brothers to play our music during our ceremony as well as our reception and they did a fantastic job. We selected our music for the various parts of the ceremony and they hit the mark with every change. During the reception, they played a huge variety of music because we had a pretty eclectic group and everyone enjoyed themselves. I would highly recommend using DJ Brothers as they were very professional and did a great job for our special day. read more

Our wedding was about 2 weeks ago and it was Perfect. From the Ceremony to the Reception everything was flawless. JR was our DJ and Joey was our Minister. They were both so prompt, professional, and extremely accommodating. DJ Brother's is hands down the best of the best. Would recommend them to everyone. Thank you guys for a great night. read more

Our wedding was 6/4/16 at the DoubleTree in downtown Houston. Joey (the owner of DJ brothers) was our DJ. We also added uplighting and dance floor lighting to our event. I will say that Joey was outstanding. He has a great online interface for setting up what kind of music to play as well as the schedule for first dances, toasts, etc. Every song except for one was in his catalog, and you get to add 10 songs that aren't in his catalog for free. He spent a lot of time on the phone figuring out our style and what we wanted. At the event he did an outstanding job. He nailed the schedule, had a great speaking voice, and managed the song choices perfectly. I looked around a lot prior to booking and his pricing was very competitive. I give Joey my highest possible recommendation. Thanks Joey! read more
