This is my favorite spot to get Thai tea smoothies with boba and to study. I discovered this place before I started going across the street for school which is pcc. The cashier is always so nice to me and my boyfriend. We usually order our teas and sit and study for a couple of hours. We are never asked to leave this place is basically a hanging out and studying place. The only way you can get the wifi password is by ordering something and it says on the receipt. There wifi is pretty fast. The Thai tea smoothie here is so good the only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I wish I didn't taste the powder of it when you blend it and sometimes I taste it sometimes I don't usually depends how long they blend it for.You can order a meal here and get a black tea or green tea for free with it. The hot green tea here is so good it's my favorite. Usually helps me feel better or warms me up when it's fall/winter.They have tables and small booths for 4 and the music here isn't so loud it's distracting if you want to study or read or just talk with friends do so here :) Don't forget to get a 5 star rewards ! We ordered a beef stew noodle, japanese pork soup ramen and fried wings. The fried wings are okay but overpriced. The soup of the beef stew noodle tastes like water, the noodle is soggy. I almost barfed because of the noodle. The japanese pork soup ramen is really salty, my boyfriend can't even finish it because of the saltiness. Great Milk tea with poppy boba! the frozen yogurt is delicious with great savory toppings :D I love having the reward cards for either a free Boba drink or a plastic cup, which was superr cute! The atmosphere is casual and kick back. A good place to sit with friends and have good boba or ice snow. Definitely try the poppy boba! The variety of mochi and sides (for Boba or the snow) is great. This is your typical fast food Asian drink hangout place with the reheated frozen food. With the exception of their Thai tea, plain black, plain oolong, and plain green, everything is basically from a powder or mix. Originally i was going to give 3 stars but awhile back i was served food with a large pubic hair in it. We're talking funky large curly pube of the genital kind! I had pretty much already finished eating when it was discovered... To this day I try to convince myself that it was like an armpit hair or something to lessen the trauma... But deep down I'm positive it came from "deep down" if you know what I mean. Gross! Stupidly enough I still go there sometimes because it's really convenient and the only thing open past 9 that's not a burger in the area. I mostly only get oolong or green tea though. This boba joint has a wide ranged menu. Boba and egg pudding is delicious, they have lots of drink flavors. They also serve warm and filling food for a good price. Their shaved ice is very creamy and they have a good selection of toppings. It's convenient for a filling dinner and some dessert after. It takes a while for your order to come out so it's best to call in ahead of time and place an order. Overall, one of my favorite boba spots. read more

BUT THERE PUTTING LESS BOBAI have been getting boba here for 2 years about 3 times a week the cost is $4.62 per drink for a REG smoothie.They use to put a great amount of BOBA and now it's a very small amount. It's hard to find a week where I _haven't_ been here more than once. Large, lounge-like area with couches, tables, and high tables and chairs, with lots of space to stretch out and no one bugging you to move along. A great place to bring your computer and study, grab some quick tea with friends, or, plan out a castle raid for your next D&D session! Always filled with PCC and Caltech students, always a good place, except for the music... The teas, smoothies, and the like are very well priced for what they are, and are always very tasty! My favorite is the watermelon juice for the fact that it's watermelon and a bit of simple syrup, and you can go up to large for under a buck. They have lots of different types of add-ins besides boba, but, I've never gotten them, as they don't go well with watermelon. They also offer 10% off for Caltech students, and have a stamp card where 10 stamps gets you a free drink. Combine that with their late night rates - 4 mini egg rolls or potstickers for a buck, and you have a deal you just can't beat. That's not even including the 3.99 dinner item with the purchase of a drink deal, which means a large bowl of soup and a large drink can run you under ten bucks, and makes a hearty dinner. Their meat-plus-rice options are also very good - the Taiwanese sausage is sweet and well-cooked, the eel is tender, and the korean shortribs - if they have them! - are sweet and tasty. The rice is well cooked, and garnished with ground pork and served with what I think is lightly picked cabbage and a tea egg, which really rounds out the nutritional balance of the meal. Good and something you won't later regret! Mostly not a perfect 5/5 because their soups are so-so, and most of the entrees aren't particularly spectacular, but, they're good and cheap. And the music. Oh, the music! CASH ONLY. They have an ATM inside but it's rather expensive to use. Make sure to get the wi-fi password at the counter, as it's not posted anywhere! read more

Goood boba! Lots of yummy flavors and they are not too disgustingly sweet either. I really like their hot honey lemon drink. If you are not in the mood for milk tea or smoothies you should try it. Love boba and jelly??? This place is for you! Hot tea, cold tea, smoothies, cotton shaved ice, fresh fruit, and Asian fusion meals and snacks.... they offer free wi-fi so a lot of PCC students come here on breaks to study, etc.(but it doesn't annoy me like the Starbucks people on the wi-fi for some reason....just a different vibe) The atmosphere is bright... quiet... comfortable. They have so many different drinks... so many flavors!! And several different types of boba and jellies to choose from!! (yes ladies, the pink boba balls are low calorie!) The boba drinks get a little expensive, I think it's $4.25 for a large... Their crispy dishes are awesome but only order it super spicy if you want your face to burn off... I get mine medium and it's perfect (and I can do pretty spicy!) They have specials sometimes, and for like $8 you can get a spicy dish (squid, chicken, etc... and it comes with rice, veggies, and a tea! The only negative is the parking lot. It's TINY! The spaces are small and there aren't many spots. Don't park next door in the Carls Jr lot though because they will tow your car!! I've been there many times, always hoping it'll gets better.. It's good in business because it's one of the few boba place that's a little more decent and able to hang out..But the drinks and food are just.. First, talking about the food..I've ordered their dishes many times, especially Hainan Chicken rice..Two times that I ordered, there's chicken furs still on the skin, very very obvious furs..I'm not a picky person, if it's just a little bit of furs I won't bother that much, but it was the most gross things..So I went back and told them the next time I visted, the boss or the manager guy said "of course it has furs on the chicken, it's normal!" and totally didn't think it's their problem. REALLY? ?? Is it THAT HARD to apologize for your own mistake for not doing a good cleaning job?! I didn't ask for anything, not money back, I just want them to make sure no more fur the next time I want to order it, but his attitude makes me really angry! Now talking about the drinks. Like I said, I'm not a picky eater, usually drinks that are soso is good enough for me. But there are 3 times that I ordered milk tea type of drinks there, they forgot to add sugar in the drinks o.o...How can you forget to add syrup?! I worked in a boba place before, it's the one thing you won't forget!! It tasted gross... Not to mention one time that I ordered Taro milk tea, and there's no taro taste AT ALL! Tried the Pork Ramen and Milk Tea. Food was great and the employees were very friendly. The parking lot can be a pain, but it's worth it!

Love that I found this boba place closer to home. Usually drive down to Alhambra to get boba but recently discovered this spot right near PCC. Got their large milk tea boba for $3.50. Absolutely delicious! Love their mini bobas. Place is pretty clean and well kept. Saw a lot of students studying inside. Feel like most coffee and tea spots around this area are filled with students from PCC. Parking was very tight. Lot is shared with a bunch of other businesses like Yoshinoya and El Polo. They also do have a pretty wide selection of food items as well. read more

The customer service is horrible, the service is SLOWW!! I ordered chicken rice today and there was no costumers but waited for like 20 mins... I was at my table for like about 10 mins, I saw my food was just sitting there at the pick up windows but no one see it, the servers just keep walking pass it, act like they don't see it, until I told them "can I get my food".... Once I get my food they don't even have the spoon, sauce, and when they brought the food to my table, the guy spilled my soup... How can they do business like this???
