Though expensive, flavor was good and, if you like jellies, they load them up here. If I had a choice, I prefer the offerings at 3CAT in Arcadia for mango drinks; however, I think this is a great spot on a hot day in Pasadena.

Personally, I tend to prefer boba shops with a little more personality. There wasn't much art on the walls, games to play, or anything that made the space feel especially memorable. I did go into the bookstore and they had a variety of genres and little nick-nacks for bibliophiles to purchase. I didn't partake of the Boba (perhaps another visit) but I did have a nice walk around. Parking lot is tight here, but know there is parking on the back side of the building off Los Robles. I got the: 1) Taro Cookies and Cream Slush: -I got this with no adjustments to it, but due to the rush hour traffic and scorching heat, even with my AC cranked up, by the time that I got home, this was mostly melted. -I personally thought this was too sweet, but my brother LOVED it. Ripped open the sealed top to get every sip possible. It's such a simple flavor combination, but it's a good one. 2) Honeydew Milk Tea (1/4 sweet, less ice): -I got this with crystal boba. -Very light flavor, not super sweet nor artificial tasting. -Crystal boba had a nice chew to it and wasn't tough or slimy soft. 3) Okinawa Milk Tea (1/4 sweet, less ice): -I got this with grass jelly and this was mine and my mom's favorite of the bunch. -A light not too sweet milk tea, but the grass jelly added it's own sweetness. Yummy semi-dessert type drink. 4) Vietnamese Coffee with Banana Foam (no added sweetness, less ice): -My dad drank this at 9 PM and still managed to go to sleep 3 hours later but as an individual who as at least a Viet coffee a day, suffice to say he's immune to it. -You get the flavor of Viet coffee, sweet, slightly bitter and then the taste of the banana after. Not bad and not overly sweet with how we ordered it too. If I needed a pick me up at the start of the day, I'd get this. Love that there's the option of adding different flavors to it. All drinks come with the option for 1 free topping and although I'm not a topping person usually, this was really nice! You usually don't see that anymore. Parking is plentiful since it's in a large shopping plaza. I'm not usually in this part of Pasadena but it was a nice fun little stop.
