I went to this place for the first time with my friends. They have such a variety of drinks. They have matcha, hojicha, fruit teas, hand craft milk teas, coffees, sparkling, and more! I tried their matcha latte with boba! And I really liked it I got 50% sweetness and it was perfect I usually prefer my drinks to not be too sweet. I definitely want to order this again! I really like that you were able to order a second drink just for $2 more! My friend also enjoyed their coffee drinks. They also have entrees, side dishes, dim sum, They also have desserts too as well. During the summer they have Shaved iced. I haven't tried yet but I'll have to try next time! Parking was a bit hard to find but they may have some street parking available They had indoor seating available. There was no outdoor seating

LT9 is a Taiwanese spot in Old Town Pasadena on the corner of Union and Raymond. It has salty fried snacks, shaved ice, some desserts, a few noodle and rice entrees and some pretty good Hainan chicken. Got the watermelon meets Jasmine tea drink. Also, I've never seen milk jelly as a topping before anywhere in the 626, till now. But I got the cheese foam instead. It was empty when I was there Wed around 5pm. For Old Town that's unusual. Other places had patrons you could see through the windows. Maybe it would help the business if they put pictures of their food in the windows so people can see what they have when they walk by? Although the food was great, the service was a little tough. There was a girl who greeted me, but she was busy doing something. Since she didn't pause it to take my order, I went to one of the 2 ordering kiosks. She brought my food and drink, I enjoyed it. But when I wanted to order a Blueberry tea for Hubby, I couldn't find it on the kiosk and needed help. I rang the service bell, she didn't come. I could see her hands through an opening, washing kitchen utensils, I could literally reach through to get her attention, but I just rang the bell again. Louder this time. Still didn't come. There was music, but the bell was louder than it. I left that kiosk and went to the other one and thankfully found it. She came back out to give me my drink and that was it. A little more personal touch would be appreciated. There was other dishes I wanted to try. Hope when I come back, I get spoken to a little more. More personable experiences result in higher tip percentages. Didn't leave one for the 2nd item.

After having lunch nearby, my partner and I wanted something refreshing to sip on. We found this spot and decided to check it out. There were so many drink options on the menu. Ultimately, we went with two of their top drinks. The Sun Moon Lake Milk Tea has a ruby black tea base. It tasted milky with a hint of honey. We added panna cotta, which added a silky texture and made the drink better. The Jasmine Blossoms Milk Tea uses triple-infused artisan jasmine green tea. This one was fragrant and refreshing. It paired well with the milky jelly topping. Other than beverages, they serve a bunch of various foods such as dumplings, noodle soup, chicken rice, desserts, and more. I have yet to try any of these though. My main complaint is that they were majorly understaffed. Only one person was working on a Saturday, so we had to wait over 30 minutes just for our 2 drinks. I would only come back if the wait time is more reasonable.

This place always has great food and has been highly rated. The drinks are great, and it's my mom's favorite. The drinks are freshly made with top ingredients. If you want to buy the tea leaves yourself, they have them. If you check out great places to eat in Pasadena, you'll find this place.

At street corner in front of Metro bus stop. There's a couple of street meter parking a few steps away ($0.25 for 12 minutes) or there's higher paid parking garage right next door to this shop. Kiosk self-ordering. 5 Star. Great pricing to drink portion. Taste is decent, not overly sweet on regular non-customized request. I like the convenience of how they offer additional toppings and food items in addition to the drinks. 1 Star. Customer service. No employee in sight while Placing a kiosk order and waited around for 14 minutes thinking my order is being prepared in the back kitchen. After waiting excessively long, i rang the bell on the desk to get attention when a lady comes out without any greeting. She tells me she didn't see the order in the system. In the meantime another customer came in waiting for his to-go order pick up and she ignored me to help that customer first to prepare his order, without first checking the system to address my concern, telling me it'll take 5 more minutes to prepare my order. In the meantime I had to add more money to my meter parking since my time limit already expired. Customer service is severely lacking. Took 22 minutes to pick up my to-go order when it should have taken only 5 minutes to prepare.

Always a great experience! My kids ask to come anytime we're nearby. Great boba and easy to order. We use Too Good To Go, just make sure you look at pick up instructions because you use the kiosk to let them know you've arrived.

They offer a great deal through Too Good to Go (a surprise bag with 3 boba drinks for $6.99). We ended up receiving an Earl Grey milk tea with boba, jasmine green tea with crystal boba, and brown sugar latte milk tea with boba. The bobas had good flavor and texture but the teas were average. I asked for less sweet and so the only one that was pretty sweet was the brown sugar latte, which makes sense. To place your order, there's a standing kiosk and another one on the front counter. The woman working there was friendly and helpful. There was no wait when we got there in the evening so our drinks came out pretty quickly.

As of late October 2025, they're renovating so my partner and I didn't have a chance to experience the cafe. Only a front ordering area for now with a self ordering kiosks. There's plentiful of options which is nice, we had a bit of trouble deciding on the drinks but we ultimately decided on two that caught our eyes. We ordered the Sun Moon Lake Milk Tea with panna cotta & Jasmine Blossoms Milk Tea with milky jelly. Both drinks were very well made despite the lack of staff. Cups are big, sturdy, and cute. Both drinks were refreshing and not very sweet as both drinks were adjusted to 50% sugar levels. The respective toppings added to each drink is top notch as well. Definitely worth a look if you want a change from boba. Wait times for this visit did take quite long as there was only one person working. Pretty understandable since most of the orders ahead of us were food instead of drinks. Overall, would love to come back when the renovations are done. Seem like a pretty cute cafe & was told that the food here is decent as well. Prices are around the usual boba stores, not too expensive nor too cheap. Quality is good which makes the drinks high quality. This would definitely be a top choice whenever we're in the area.

I had been eyeing this Taiwanese place for a while and finally got to visit and it didn't disappoint. We ordered Wonton Noodle Soup, Hainan Chicken Rice, and Taiwanese Noodle Soup. The portion was huge. Wonton was delicious. My kids really liked the noodles. Hainan chicken's sauce was really good too. Taiwanese noodle soup could be better if adding more veggies. The drinks were must have. We used too good to go app to order surprise bag aka you can't select what kind of drinks and also you cannot do adjustments or personalization like ice level. And we love all the drinks (three drinks per tgtg order)! I usually ordered my drinks without ice or else it would taste too water down for me but not this place! It was perfect for hot summer days! I came around 3 pm on Tuesday and noticed the store was fairly empty. Service:3/5 I waited around for 5 minutes at the counter, and had to ring the bell twice before I was helped. It seemed like there was only one person working the whole shop. Parking 1/5: Parking can be pretty difficult to find. Theres metered street parking around. Ordered: I ordered Hainan chicken for takeout 3/5: the chicken was nice and juicy but the dish did not take like Hainan chicken imo. They drizzled a teriyaki/sweet sauce over the chicken which took away from the flavor and was really distracting. Other than the sauce, it was okay Overall I probably wouldn't come back because parking can be difficult and the food wasn't spectacular read more

The place is a cute little corner store in a row of different cuisines and restaurants. I thought it was a nice place to take a rest and order some drinks. Especially if it's not too busy in the afternoon. I ended up ordering the 1834 Prime Minister. The drink wasn't actually that tasty. I clearly tasted the tea flavor but it did not really resemble the picture on the touch screen. I'm willing to try a second time just in case I ordered the wrong drink. The foods also look good. Staff is courteous and the place is clean too. I'll have to see if any of their entrees are good as well. It's not always easy to find a good snack place to have a little mini meal or snack. Solid spot for Chinese food, teas, & desserts! They have so many options to choose from, but we came for the Hainan chicken! I'm very impressed with my meal & it was actually so flavorful & a great portion! They have a lunch deal M-Th from (11am-3:30pm) for $10 & comes with either soup or tea. The chicken was juicy, tender, & well seasoned. The rice soaked up the chicken flavors. The side soup was a little oily, but pairing it with the rice & chicken made it so tasty! I definitely would come back & get this again. The space of the store is pretty tight. There is lots of seating, but the layout is more suited for a tea spot & not rly for dine in. There's also paid parking meters out front & a parking garage next door. This place is self service, so you order at the kiosk. Overall, decent spot! read more

Great spot to work at or hang out! Lt9 is my go to cafe for working at ai de they have outlets, affordable drinks, a nice interior, and it's usually not too busy/crowded. There's a self service kisosk and cashiers on site. The menu has lots of different teas and drinks to choose from, they even have an option to split drinks into two cups if you want to share with a friend. Absolutely love that as someone who loves to try and share what my friends and I get. There are lots of food and drink selections, it makes this spot perfect for a nice lunch or a quick drink run. There's also a restroom in the back for the public. Earl gray tiramisu: 7/10. Delicious fluffy and not too sweet! Not the best tiramisu I've ever had but it is still good and I love that they have a tea flavor! Was a bit disappointed that the packaging and presentation was not like the menu image. Lemon berry fruit tea 8/10: Nice refreshing drink for those who are lactose and sensitive to caffeine. The graphic design of all the menus were so chic and pretty when they first opened but their updated newer menu doesn't match their original concept. Really cute bubble tea shop in the heart of Old Town Pasadena! My friend and I popped in for some drinks and were happy! We didn't have a wait, drinks were done quickly, really friendly service - what more could you ask for in an ordering experience!? It doesn't feel crazy busy so is a great option if you're looking for somewhere a bit more chill to study or work or meet up with friends. Teas were tasty and really refreshing! LT9 is my favorite place for milk tea in Pasadena. They have a very large variety of house made toppings, which, set them far apart from the majority of Boba shops. My favorite thing is being the milk jelly, which has a really chunky texture and I even prefer over boba. They even have an in-house milk which I've tried once and it was very rich. One of my favorite offerings is if you buy two large ones there's a discount so I always end up ordering a few extras for my family. There's plenty of seating and I believe they offer some food dishes as well for dine in options. You order on a tablet and the service is pretty sparse because most of the employees are busy in the kitchen, so be prepared to pay with card. I'm sure if you flagged someone down they can take cash, but that proves to be a bit of a challenge. There's only street parking so it can be a pain to find a spot but if you're already in the area, I definitely recommended giving LT9 a try. read more

I came here for the Too Good To Go, teriyaki chicken + milk tea deal for $6.99, ended up ordering the Hainan chicken with rice in addition. They are slow in service but everything else is solid and the ambience is surprisingly nice! I would definitely come back when I'm in the area again! read more
