Amazing service! Delicious drinks! A must try! I love going here and trying different flavors. Nice staff and good food!

I went to this place for the first time with my friends. They have such a variety of drinks. They have matcha, hojicha, fruit teas, hand craft milk teas, coffees, sparkling, and more! I tried their matcha latte with boba! And I really liked it I got 50% sweetness and it was perfect I usually prefer my drinks to not be too sweet. I definitely want to order this again! I really like that you were able to order a second drink just for $2 more! My friend also enjoyed their coffee drinks. They also have entrees, side dishes, dim sum, They also have desserts too as well. During the summer they have Shaved iced. I haven't tried yet but I'll have to try next time! Parking was a bit hard to find but they may have some street parking available They had indoor seating available. There was no outdoor seating

I love the too good to go deal! 3 random drinks for 6.99. Great teas and service! Love the inside, nice and chill.

After having lunch nearby, my partner and I wanted something refreshing to sip on. We found this spot and decided to check it out. There were so many drink options on the menu. Ultimately, we went with two of their top drinks. The Sun Moon Lake Milk Tea has a ruby black tea base. It tasted milky with a hint of honey. We added panna cotta, which added a silky texture and made the drink better. The Jasmine Blossoms Milk Tea uses triple-infused artisan jasmine green tea. This one was fragrant and refreshing. It paired well with the milky jelly topping. Other than beverages, they serve a bunch of various foods such as dumplings, noodle soup, chicken rice, desserts, and more. I have yet to try any of these though. My main complaint is that they were majorly understaffed. Only one person was working on a Saturday, so we had to wait over 30 minutes just for our 2 drinks. I would only come back if the wait time is more reasonable.

At street corner in front of Metro bus stop. There's a couple of street meter parking a few steps away ($0.25 for 12 minutes) or there's higher paid parking garage right next door to this shop. Kiosk self-ordering. 5 Star. Great pricing to drink portion. Taste is decent, not overly sweet on regular non-customized request. I like the convenience of how they offer additional toppings and food items in addition to the drinks. 1 Star. Customer service. No employee in sight while Placing a kiosk order and waited around for 14 minutes thinking my order is being prepared in the back kitchen. After waiting excessively long, i rang the bell on the desk to get attention when a lady comes out without any greeting. She tells me she didn't see the order in the system. In the meantime another customer came in waiting for his to-go order pick up and she ignored me to help that customer first to prepare his order, without first checking the system to address my concern, telling me it'll take 5 more minutes to prepare my order. In the meantime I had to add more money to my meter parking since my time limit already expired. Customer service is severely lacking. Took 22 minutes to pick up my to-go order when it should have taken only 5 minutes to prepare.

Delicious and refreshing teas on a nice spring day - hits the spot.

They offer a great deal through Too Good to Go (a surprise bag with 3 boba drinks for $6.99). We ended up receiving an Earl Grey milk tea with boba, jasmine green tea with crystal boba, and brown sugar latte milk tea with boba. The bobas had good flavor and texture but the teas were average. I asked for less sweet and so the only one that was pretty sweet was the brown sugar latte, which makes sense. To place your order, there's a standing kiosk and another one on the front counter. The woman working there was friendly and helpful. There was no wait when we got there in the evening so our drinks came out pretty quickly.

The newly remodeled space is open and modern. Plenty of seating, even a larger table for 6. Plenty of options as well, excited to try something new each time!

Situated in the heart of the old town Pasadena, this place is quite a gem. Plenty of seats to sit back and relax, enjoying the company and delicious milk tea

One of the best boba spot in town and they offer a hang out lobby! Their matcha espinaner is a must order! It's very matcha taste and their Hainan chicken rice is a must order too! The chicken portion is good and their price is fair. Love their decorations and great spot to hang out!

Quiet open space to study! Discovered thru too good to go. Not much for parking. Easy to order thru the iPad. Bathroom is out of order. Lots of Taiwanese flavors! They take a while to make the drinks. I want to come back to try their food!

As of late October 2025, they're renovating so my partner and I didn't have a chance to experience the cafe. Only a front ordering area for now with a self ordering kiosks. There's plentiful of options which is nice, we had a bit of trouble deciding on the drinks but we ultimately decided on two that caught our eyes. We ordered the Sun Moon Lake Milk Tea with panna cotta & Jasmine Blossoms Milk Tea with milky jelly. Both drinks were very well made despite the lack of staff. Cups are big, sturdy, and cute. Both drinks were refreshing and not very sweet as both drinks were adjusted to 50% sugar levels. The respective toppings added to each drink is top notch as well. Definitely worth a look if you want a change from boba. Wait times for this visit did take quite long as there was only one person working. Pretty understandable since most of the orders ahead of us were food instead of drinks. Overall, would love to come back when the renovations are done. Seem like a pretty cute cafe & was told that the food here is decent as well. Prices are around the usual boba stores, not too expensive nor too cheap. Quality is good which makes the drinks high quality. This would definitely be a top choice whenever we're in the area.

It comes with half a chicken, two bowls of rice, peanuts and cucumber. Every single part of this meal was delicious. The peanuts and cucumber are spiced very slightly with a sichuan taste, the chicken is nice and moist and I couldn't stop eating the rice. I will note that the rice has a slight coconut taste to it? I'm not sure if the rice is cooked with a bit of coconut water/milk but once my fiance pointed it out, I couldn't get past it. Service is very friendly and attentive. It does seem like it gets busy for what seems like just one person manning both the register and serving but it's a small space. A very casual, quick bite spot.

Portions are big, prices are fair, and each plate comes with a cup of chicken broth and two sauces, which I appreciated. Overall, the food was tasty and satisfying. Unfortunately, the service was really disappointing. The staff ignored us multiple times when we asked for a spoon and some salt. No response at all, even though they clearly saw us. We waited a long time just to get any acknowledgment, which felt rude and uncomfortable. I'd consider ordering takeout again because the food is good, but I wouldn't come back to dine in.

The locals know of better spots. But I'm not local, so Savoy is all I've ever known…read more They have other items, but everyone comes here for chicken rice. Practically every table will have an order. Yeah, soft chicken - even the white meat, rice with a strong chicken flavor you didn't know existed, and excellent ginger sauce that surprisingly hasn't gone viral yet. Boneless chicken, by the way, so non-Canto friendly, and you saw that with the mosaic of people coming in to pick up an order. Me too, planning to pick up 2 orders before making my way Irvine, driving fast, faces pass, and I'm southbound. Jiving like Terry Crews. OK, maybe not "driving fast". This is LA, after all. But then the daily special menu caught my eye. It's Thursday. Chicken ala King, the chicken Al Fredo of Hong Kong, the one white sauce Western dish that HongKongers think of. It's fine. You have a job, and you're not here as often as you wish. Trigger pulled. And you're not the thermopile that you think you are anymore. Trigger pulled on the large chrysanthemum tea. And boy, do I NOT regret that decision. The flavors were on point, just like how it used to be in HK! The richness of the butter worked well with the flavor of the chicken. I don't feel as bad as enjoying the butter and cheeese combo that is Al Fredo but that's probably a bias I have. (The easiest place to get this in HK is actually KFC... But the execution is also pepper heavy there is no taste semblance to the original dish...) The tea is floral, sweet with a slight bitter aftertaste from being a little over brewed if your standard is Vita, but absolutely perfect for the heatwave. Service was great too. The boss lady smiled but was also very sharp. Got the tea immediately, no fuss about the ice, no hesitation and ready to switch when I asked if the adjacent container is milk tea. It's not. It's THEIR cappuchino. By the way, if you noticed the 3 veggie paintings on their wall, here's the irony... I'm pretty sure there's no leeks, carrots, or garlic used in making chicken rice. The yellow of the walls work well though, working in step with the sunset hues, and a far cry from the no-frills hospitial-wite walls of so many other Cantonese mom-n-pops. And sadly, no one comes close in the Bay Area, not even the 2 new shops in Millbrae dare I say. Parking isn't an issue. Valley Blvd is a busy street, but the side streets are residential. Try not to be on the other side of Valley though. Valley with its traffic is a pain in the rear to cross. Even if you're not a chicken. N if u gonn' say jo mama make it betta', lemme ask, jo mama make dat rice too? Sorry for Game-of-Throning in the beginning, but TBH it's not like this ESTABLISHMENT needs this review. Now, here's something that really brings back memories -- they way they make their Hainan Chicken -- most places make them with boneless meats (dark or white), which is easy to consume, of course; but this place make them with bones. I recall this was how Hainan chicken was made decades ago when I visited the Chinatown in Singapore. On that trip I learned that Man-Chan is an old city in the Hainan Province in China; and "Man Chan Chicken" is the origin of the worldly popular Hainan Chicken today. When you come in, there is a sign that tells you to order before being seated. My sister and her bf had yet to arrive so I placed a sizeable order for the 4 of us. Luckily, they were there (waiting in the car) so I told them to walk over so we can be seated. I ordered 2 orders of chiayi chicken (1with white rice and 1 with brown rice), 2 orders of thousand layer pancake (1 with egg and 1 with egg and cheese), shrimp wonton, dance dan noodles, wonton noodle soup, hakka mochi and forbidden rice pudding. For drinks we had a few of the shaken iced green teas and 1 taro milk tea (my sister said it didnt taste like taro) Everything was great. I was surprised my sister's bf liked the food. The chiayi chicken was good with a bit of the chili sauce (sambal). The thousand layer pancake was good if you dip it in the black vinegar (mixed with chili oil and a little soy sauce). The shrimp wonton were surprisingly light and tasty. The dan dan noodles was balanced my medium thin sliced cucumber. Everything was portioned very small so you can try everything.we didnt get additional sides because were getting full. The desserts was what I was looking forward to and it did not disappoint. The hakka mochi reminded me of the soy pudding stalls in singapore that had mochi balls filled with a black sesame paste and peanut paste inside. This is what the hakka mochi was but in dry soft chewy form with black sesame and peanut grains to top it off. For my sister, it reminded her of the filipino dessert pichi pichi. The forbidden rice pudding reminded me of a soupy version of the filipino dessert biko. It had chunks of sweet potatoes and tapioca. Also very good but my bias is the hakka mochi. The ambiance was bright, bustling and inviting. Very small tables perfect for a quick bite. Highly recommend if you want a tapas style lunch that doesn't break the bank.
