I saw that they just opened and decided to give it a try. I ordered a strawberry tea for my girlfriend and a mango and passionfruit tea without ice cream and 25% sweetness. 1.5 stars Pretty disappointing for a $6 boba that doesn't contain boba (costs extra for tapioca balls) and has a really flimsy reusable cup. First time here... the cute container got me. I got the Matchamisu Milk Tea... drink was good but boba was kind hard and chewy, prefer a softer boba. I got the special (Kangnam Tea) which had kumquat and strawberry. I agree with other reviewers that you'll want to get fruit teas here sweeter than you usually do. The tea was strong and bitter. I'm not in love with the containers either - it feels like an unnecessary cost, the tops are wide open so it can be tricky to drink in a moving car, and they're not dishwasher safe for reusability. I'll probably come back to try something else, without being in a hurry to do so. read more

My first time at this location which used to be the honey boba location. You get more value for your money because the drinks come in large recyclable plastic tumblers with a cute corgi design. I ordered a jasmine green tea with basil seeds. It was very smoothe, high quality and not bitter some like places especially since I opted for zero sugar in my tea. You can customize your sugar and ice level. I can't wait to collect more plastic tumblers which you can reuse and store drinks and water inside. The bottle lids don't have a hole for the boba straw so you have to untwist the caps to use your straw. Just FYI. Parking is free. I'll definitely come back to try more drinks and boba next time. read more

Nice place for teas and sweet drinks. I got a durian smoothie with honey egg pudding. Quite nice. However, they do use frozen durian, so the flavor is a bit more mild than I personally prefer. But that said, not all tea shops even offer durian smoothies, so it was nice that they even had it. Thin girl at the counter (on Tuesday evening 11/23) was polite, helpful, and friendly. Came here as my coworker recommended, it's located at the corner of Duarte Rd. and Santa Anita Ave. in Arcadia in the same plaza of El Pollo Loco. Plenty of parking spaces so it's nice and stress free. Tried out their Original Green Milk Tea with 25% sugar level and less iced, the green tea tasted pretty strong and refreshing. The Koala cup is really cute and their customer service is friendly and very timely. This place was an okay place I was very excited to try the popcorn chicken and the garlic fries but when I received my order I was very disappointed. I paid extra for the garlic fries thinking they were going to be made with actual fresh garlic worst ever it seemed like they pour the entire bottle of some sort garlic salt they had the worst taste ever and the popcorn chicken was even worst had some weird taste and was very soggy when I got my order. This location has been multiple different boba shops, but I think Tea Brick is my favourite iteration so far. Their drinks are a little pricey but they are worth it for their really cute cup designs! Right now they have a holiday corgi design and it is ADORABLE. So far I've tried: -- Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Honey Boba: I mean, how can you go wrong with this drink? It is sweet and delicious and I love honey boba. I do think it has a lot of caffeine in it though because I had it around 3pm but couldn't fall asleep until 4:30am that night. -- The Vanessa (strawberry and peach flavor green tea with strawberries and lychee bits): I love strawberries so I thought I would love this drink but I was wrong. It was not sweet at all. My friend Laura normally loves fruity drinks but she didn't care for this one either. Next time I'll stick to my milk teas... The staff have always been really nice when I come in and they have menus for you to study if you don't know what you want. They use the Five Stars rewards program so just input your phone number to start collecting points! The interior of the shop is much nicer and a definite upgrade from the Honeyboba that was once there. However, I did notice that the order pickup area is a little bit narrow which makes social distancing difficult when waiting for drinks. I got the Vanessa Tea and it had the strawberry flavor but lacked the peach flavor; there was a bit of a bitter aftertaste so I definitely would recommend not altering the sugar levels in this drink. The lychee bits in the drink were also unpleasant tasting. The reusable container nonetheless was sooooo cute and the ice didn't melt for the next hour which I found pretty impressive. I got the girlfriend tea with boba. It's a grapefruit green tea. I also reduced the sweetness to 50%. I was surprised they used fresh grapefruit juice. There was some pulp in my drink which was a pleasant surprise. The grapefruit taste was really strong so if you don't like the slight bitter taste then it might not be for you, or just keep the sweetness at 100%. It's really refreshing and the bottle is high. Only qualm is that the prices are higher than other boba shops by a significant amount and this location seems to have different pricing than other ones. read more

I was so hoping to like this place. I came in cause I'd wanted the cat themed cup but I was too late. But I was to be let down anyway. The cups leak, badly. Like even full sealed as tight as you can they leak. That's not good. Add on they have no hole for the straw so...kinda not good for much. I did try them with water afterwards but that wasn't that great either. We got a matchamisu almond and a guavalava. I tasted zero almond in my drink and it was pretty bland. The guava was good but then the main issue came in. The boba is terrible. Its utterly tasteless and very unappealing. I didnt finish my drink, where rarely happens. My boyfriend didnt want to finish his either cause the guava comes with lychee pieces but to get to them meant dealing with the boba and it wasnt worth it. Sadly while the place isn't bad, it's not good either. But the service was very nice and place was very clean, which is why this review has 3 stars instead of 2. But I'm coming for the drink and the drink wasnt good enough. read more

Wanted to try this place because its new and I wanted the cute bottles. I ordered a peach black tea with boba and peach bites and a taro milk tea with boba. Price is a bit steep, but if drinks in a flimsy plastic bottle are your thing, then no biggie. I ordered the Girlfriend Tea, which had freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice and honey in it. My first sip was a mouthful of the slightly sour juice, but on the next sip the honey balanced it out nicely. It sort of tasted like a fruity alcoholic drink that you'd get at the bar, complete with the alcohol taste...but without the actual alcohol and the buzz.
