I saw that they just opened and decided to give it a try. I ordered a strawberry tea for my girlfriend and a mango and passionfruit tea without ice cream and 25% sweetness. The mango and passionfruit tea tasted more like water than mango and passionfruit. It also left an odd aftertaste in my mouth. Maybe I should have kept the ice cream and 100% sweetness for a better taste. Aside from that, the drink seemed relatively average but not worth the $5.85 price. read more

1.5 stars Pretty disappointing for a $6 boba that doesn't contain boba (costs extra for tapioca balls) and has a really flimsy reusable cup. Also, the cup I got was halloween themed and it's May right now??? If I don't factor in the cost of the "reusable" cup, this is extremely overpriced. Especially for a very not cute design. The Matchamisu Original was lackluster and mainly tasted sugary with no other flavor. It tastes like the Starbucks Matcha Latte if you like that. With all the boba places nearby, I'd rather head over to Half and Half Good Old Time. read more

Great experience. Wanted to surprise my niece with a special drink and special it was!!! The business practices social distancing as well as gloves and face masks were used. Service was great and the time to wait for the drink was quick. Will definitely come back to get a tea. FYI brick bread takes 20-25 minutes so order early or expect to wait. read more

First time here... the cute container got me. I got the Matchamisu Milk Tea... drink was good but boba was kind hard and chewy, prefer a softer boba. Too bad it was so hot inside due to no air conditioning, felt bad for the workers. I will return to try other flavors... pleas make your boba softer. read more

I got the special (Kangnam Tea) which had kumquat and strawberry. I agree with other reviewers that you'll want to get fruit teas here sweeter than you usually do. The tea was strong and bitter. I'm not in love with the containers either - it feels like an unnecessary cost, the tops are wide open so it can be tricky to drink in a moving car, and they're not dishwasher safe for reusability. I'll probably come back to try something else, without being in a hurry to do so. read more

Man at register was nice but would give it a one. It made me sick and have an upset stomach going on for a week now since having their drink. It does have a B rating and I hesitated going in but went in anyway. I had forgotten to ask to add boba so my drink was made again, made me wonder if because having to make my drink again is why my stomach has been upset for a week now. read more

Insanely understaffed and unorganized. Waited 30 minutes even though I ordered 10 minutes in advance. They even made someone's drink who ordered after i even arrived at the store. Nice place for teas and sweet drinks. I got a durian smoothie with honey egg pudding. Quite nice. However, they do use frozen durian, so the flavor is a bit more mild than I personally prefer. But that said, not all tea shops even offer durian smoothies, so it was nice that they even had it. Thin girl at the counter (on Tuesday evening 11/23) was polite, helpful, and friendly. She deserves a raise. read more

I got the green tea with boba and the genma tea with boba. I was disappointed. It was expensive and the bobas were not good. It wasn't soft and chewy. I won't recommend going back. Then bottle and cup are cute but the bottle they gave me were old. It said year 2021. If I paid for the bottles, I expect the correct year. read more

I ordered the green milk tea with boba at this local Tea Brick, and I really enjoyed the flavor of the tea! The boba was slightly on the more chewy side, which some people may enjoy, but I thought it was a bit tougher than normal. I absolutely enjoy Tea Brick's cups. They change up the designs occasionally, and anniversary one (pic below) is one of my favorites! Came here as my coworker recommended, it's located at the corner of Duarte Rd. and Santa Anita Ave. in Arcadia in the same plaza of El Pollo Loco. Plenty of parking spaces so it's nice and stress free. Tried out their Original Green Milk Tea with 25% sugar level and less iced, the green tea tasted pretty strong and refreshing. The Koala cup is really cute and their customer service is friendly and very timely. I will try their fruity tea next time :) They still practice certain covid precautions such as masking and social distancing to protect their customers and the community. This location has been multiple different boba shops, but I think Tea Brick is my favourite iteration so far. Their drinks are a little pricey but they are worth it for their really cute cup designs! Right now they have a holiday corgi design and it is ADORABLE. So far I've tried: -- Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Honey Boba: I mean, how can you go wrong with this drink? It is sweet and delicious and I love honey boba. I do think it has a lot of caffeine in it though because I had it around 3pm but couldn't fall asleep until 4:30am that night. -- The Vanessa (strawberry and peach flavor green tea with strawberries and lychee bits): I love strawberries so I thought I would love this drink but I was wrong. It was not sweet at all. My friend Laura normally loves fruity drinks but she didn't care for this one either. Next time I'll stick to my milk teas... The staff have always been really nice when I come in and they have menus for you to study if you don't know what you want. They use the Five Stars rewards program so just input your phone number to start collecting points! And being located in a plaza at the corner of Santa Anita and Duarte, they have plenty of parking, especially since right now you have to take it to-go. read more

Very rare do you find places today run by young people who still take their job seriously and know how to handle customers. We made a delivery order due to a tight work schedule from a home office and one drink was missing and in its place was just a regular green tea. I personally drove and went back to prevent one of my co workers from making a big stink about her drink being wrong. Employee was extremely apologetic and immediately re-made the drink. For the younger taller man with circle lenses, whoever is the employer please consider any higher position for this individual if possible. read more

This place was an okay place I was very excited to try the popcorn chicken and the garlic fries but when I received my order I was very disappointed. I paid extra for the garlic fries thinking they were going to be made with actual fresh garlic worst ever it seemed like they pour the entire bottle of some sort garlic salt they had the worst taste ever and the popcorn chicken was even worst had some weird taste and was very soggy when I got my order. I only have it a 2 star because of the drink but other then that I would of have it a 1 star. I don't recommend this place for any of the food maybe just the drink. read more

I came here because of the decent reviews and because I really wanted one of the cute drink cups but overall I think the tea is just ok for the price point. The interior of the shop is much nicer and a definite upgrade from the Honeyboba that was once there. However, I did notice that the order pickup area is a little bit narrow which makes social distancing difficult when waiting for drinks. I got the Vanessa Tea and it had the strawberry flavor but lacked the peach flavor; there was a bit of a bitter aftertaste so I definitely would recommend not altering the sugar levels in this drink. The lychee bits in the drink were also unpleasant tasting. The reusable container nonetheless was sooooo cute and the ice didn't melt for the next hour which I found pretty impressive. I might stop by again sometime to try their milk teas. read more

I finally got around to trying this place. I had seen they had these cute Corgi cups for their drinks, but unfortunately they did not have them when I went. I didn't get the chance to ask why they didn't have them, but I assumed they just ran out. I ordered their Rose Milk tea with boba. The milk tea was quite good, but the boba was a bit hard (didn't seem very fresh). I also tried their popcorn chicken with medium spiciness. It was very tasty, not as hot as I thought it would be. I got the girlfriend tea with boba. It's a grapefruit green tea. I also reduced the sweetness to 50%. I was surprised they used fresh grapefruit juice. There was some pulp in my drink which was a pleasant surprise. The grapefruit taste was really strong so if you don't like the slight bitter taste then it might not be for you, or just keep the sweetness at 100%. It's really refreshing and the bottle is high. Only qualm is that the prices are higher than other boba shops by a significant amount and this location seems to have different pricing than other ones. read more

My first Tea Brick experience was as good as it gets! We got the Yummee Peachee Lychee tea with boba. I usually get half sweet, but after checking out the reviews, I just decided to get the drink as is. I liked that it was the perfect amount of sweetness. There were real fruit bits in my drink along with the boba. The tea was also pretty strong, so the layer of bitter tea offset the sweetness of the peach and lychee. The reusable cup was super cute, and I still have it as a water bottle to use at home. read more

I was so hoping to like this place. I came in cause I'd wanted the cat themed cup but I was too late. But I was to be let down anyway. The cups leak, badly. Like even full sealed as tight as you can they leak. That's not good. Add on they have no hole for the straw so...kinda not good for much. I did try them with water afterwards but that wasn't that great either. We got a matchamisu almond and a guavalava. I tasted zero almond in my drink and it was pretty bland. The guava was good but then the main issue came in. The boba is terrible. Its utterly tasteless and very unappealing. I didnt finish my drink, where rarely happens. My boyfriend didnt want to finish his either cause the guava comes with lychee pieces but to get to them meant dealing with the boba and it wasnt worth it. Sadly while the place isn't bad, it's not good either. But the service was very nice and place was very clean, which is why this review has 3 stars instead of 2. But I'm coming for the drink and the drink wasnt good enough. read more

Thank goodness I don't have to go to Rowland heights or Monterey park anymore!!!! Yaaaaay! So close to my house. You're paying the same price as any other boba place, except you get a cute plastic reusable bottle!! I always get the green tea with sea salt foam and basil! The egg was perfectly soft and silky with a nice curry sauce in the side. The katsu that came with it was crispy, hot and tasty. 4.5/5. The popcorn chicken was great. Perfect seasoning and crispy. 5/5. The skewers however, were the low point of our dinner. They did not appear they were cooked fresh. The meats were dry and tough. The scallops were OK but tiny. Chicken was average. The whole order did not satisfy. We also got an Amazing Lemonade and Thai iced tea. The lemonade was a very refreshing drink, and the Thai tea is just like all other places. Our server, unfortunately forgot his name, was excellent. Very personable and great at describing flavors. The friendliness extends to the rest of the staff too. It's a nice place to check out. Note their parking lot is fairly small, and shared with Paris Baguette next door. It's a 4.5, rounded up.

Ordering was super easy and they were super responsive with making sure they understood the plan and had everything ready within only a couple days. During pick up they packed extra candles, utensils, ice pack and even helped me make sure it was secure in my car since I'd be driving over 30 mins away. I was sooo impressed that my cake was exactly like the references I provided. The cake was a hugeeee hit with the guests and I really appreciated how every part of the cake was edible. Overall great service and experience!

Been coming to tea brick for a while now, usually don't write reviews but this time around I had a much lower than average experience. Came on a Friday night and it was semi busy, drinks took a while to make, waiting about 15mins. Completely fine with that, understandable. But when we drank them at home about 10mins later, one of the drinks were not filled up. Looks like it was spilled after they made it since the sides were sticky, missing about 1/6 of the drink. The bobas were HARD, that was the worst part. I am a chef and I know boba gets hard when it's old. This is not right, paid almost 6 dollars for a drink and the main part wasn't done correctly, very disappointed. Hopefully management looks into the problems. Thanks for reading. read more

I stopped by Tea Brick and had a great experience. I ordered a milk tea, and it was really good. The one thing that really stood out to me was how cute the cup was! I loved the adorable designs of corgis on the cup. It's definitely one of the cutest drink cups I've seen and perfect for taking pictures. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back to try more of their drinks. No inside seating. No ability to drink their tasty boba inside. No ability to order their tasty boba and relax and enjoy it in Arcadia. They want you to drink it in your car. There are signs posted in the windows reflecting this policy, i doubt its good for business. read more
