I went and ordered from this location yesterday. Now before I start, I have had drinks and popcorn chicken from the Monterey Park location before and everything was always good. Yesterday I ordered popcorn chicken and 3 drinks from this location and everything was ready on time. The location was easy to find and I had no problems getting my order. The drinks were great as usual, but once I got digging into the popcorn chicken.. I had at least 3 pieces that weren't cooked thoroughly. When I noticed I was practically munching on chewy rubber, I spit it out immediately and threw it in the trash. My boyfriend said the same thing, he had a few uncooked pieces of popcorn chicken. Maybe we just had a bad batch, I don't know but it kinda turned me off from popcorn chicken for now. :/ read more

Coming back from the Los Angeles County Arboretum, the morning was HOT! My boyfriend recommended this place for their fruity teas and their Shiba adorned to go cups. Driving around lost, we eventually realized that this place was within honey boba. I ordered the yumme peachy lychee. I was warned that the fruits teas here tend to be sweet so I asked for 50%. Somehow it turned out to be a bit bitter due to the tea flavor. Luckily I've been dabbling in cocktail making and I just happened to have simple syrup at home. One drip of syrup definitely took care of the bitterness. For those who order their fruit teas, I would recommend that you try your tea before leaving so you can adjust the sweetness level. read more

i love the chill atmosphere of the shop + everything is so clean and aesthetic! the employees were also very kind and quick to make our orders. i ordered the thai tea creme brulee while my mom ordered a lychee green tea. both drinks were amazing--the thai tea creme brulee is probably going to be too sweet for many customers, but if you have a sweet tooth like me, you'll definitely enjoy it :) the containers are also reusable and very adorable! read more

Ordered for pick up in the late evening. My drink was ready when I arrived well within 10-15 mins. I decided to try two new flavors for drinks with boba, one had guava something and another with matchamisu (which is new to me). I didn't get as much boba in my drinks as I was expecting so that was the first disappointment. The drinks were underwhelming, the fruity flavors were light. My boba pearls had a hard center which means they used old or day old boba. I usually will be okay having a slightly chewy boba but this was very hard to chew on. Knowing it's old and not good boba I still decided to try to eat more of them because I wanted to have boba and gave them the benefit of the doubt in case it was a bad one in a scoop but it was hurting my gums - so I'm very convinced it's more than day old boba or they do not bother to keep it soft which is very easy to do. So I'm Very disappointed since I both drinks had the same quality boba. But the the drinks still come in cute containers holiday themed, which I like to reuse for something a couple times. I haven't been to a TB in a while given there are so many other options so I'm not sure I would come back to this one and Arcadia unless perhaps it's during the day or I'm desperate for a boba drink. read more

The cups are cute but what do you do with straw when you haven't finished drink . I used to get the kumquat tea before so I tried it here . It really didn't have that tang kumquat taste . Usually has a beautiful color . This had a ugly color that I got with a slush. I thought the strawberry bits would add sweetness but they were just the fruit , no added syrup. I added lychee for some bite , the lady said they would be sweeter than the grass but not so . Tasted like rubber bands but I liked the chew . With slush all the lychee and fruit were at the bottom and I like I said the color was the color of throwup . Who said I didn't want the whole drink slush? Just the tea . The Tea Brick that I normally go to are the ones located in Monterey Park and Rowland Heights. Today, I came to this location for the first time with my friends as this is the closest Tea Brick location and we all wanted to give this boba shop a try. I ordered a Tea Brick Milk Tea with boba, 75% sweet. I like how they use non-dairy milk in most of their milk teas including the one that I ordered. The boba was golden color which tastes no different than the "normal" ones. I will say that the boba that they served was on the harder end. It is not that chewy and because I do wear braces it was hard to chew on the boba and was slightly painful. So for those who wears invisalign I do not recommend ordering the boba in your drinks as their boba is really hard to chew. As for the sweetness, I should've done 50% just because even at 75% it was still pretty sweet. They do add a lot of ice, so I guess 75% sweetness is okay if you want the ice to dilute the drink. However, if you want to go with less ice when you first order then I would recommend 50% sweetness especially if you want to cut down on sugar intakes. Overall, I had a great experience at this particular location. I will definitely come back to this boba shop in the near future if I am ever around the area :) read more

Normally at other boba shops, I go for 75% sweetness, but at Tea Brick, I found that I lime to stick with everything normal since the drink isn't too sweet in my opinion. My friend and I came here recently for the first time. We walked in a little after noon and looked at the menu. Shortly after, a woman with her 2 kids came in to look at the menu as well. She let us order first. After we placed our order so did the woman with her kids and at this point another woman had placed her order. Out of a total of 6 orders (mine & my friends, the woman & her 2 kids, and the last woman) mine and my friends drinks were made last. We're not sure why. We had simple milk tea drinks whereas the other orders were blended drinks. Honestly, we cannot help but this was because of our ethnicity as we are both of mexican descent and the other patrons in the store with us were of asian descent. DO NOT BUY DURIAN SMOOTHIE. Take it from me. I bought 2 durian smoothie thinking that they used real durian, with a steep price of $6.35 each. If they actually put in real durian, the price would be okay. However.. It is the worst durian smoothie in SGV. Very icy, slushy, and watered down. They claimed to use real durian, but you'll never taste even a chunk of durian flesh. Other places are honest and they tell you they use durian ice cream - honestly the price reflects that. Ordered this for delivery and everything was unsatisfactory. I'm shocked that this place has such a good rating amongst all the other bubble tea spots in the area. The drinks were only mediocre, nothing special or outstanding about it. We also ordered the popcorn chicken and garlic fries and it was terrible!! Their popcorn chicken was the worst I've ever tried. They use chicken breast (probably the same they use for their chicken nuggets to save cost) and the seasoning was off. We could only stomach two pieces. The garlic fries were not garlic-y at all. I paid extra for the garlic, only to get regular fries. It was soggy when I got it but it could be because of the delivery. They could have at least poked some holes in the package so it didn't steam in the carton. I'll never order from this place again when there are plenty of other amazing boba spots in the area. read more

Today was my first time trying Tea Brick and I got a thai tea with boba delivered. Presentation is nice & cute but the whole point is to have the drink be the selling point. Boba was hard af. If you're gonna be a boba shop, at least get the boba part down. Is it that hard to try the boba first & make sure it's cooked thoroughly? The drink itself was overly sweet, not refreshing at all, made my mouth so dry. It's the type of milk tea that makes you feel nauseous after drinking it because of how heavy it is. Me and my friend ordered two tea brick milk tea today afternoon. Now both of us are having severe cases of stomach pain and diarrhea. I am sure the milk tea is the cause since thats the only thing in common we drink/ate today and it has an odd taste. I usually never bother to leave a bad review but this is really bad. I love Tea Brick and I was so happy when they added a location right by my house! They have a great drink menu, from a custom flavor menu or a selection of curated drinks with yummy flavors. I have tried the Vanessa and Green Ozone. Both were tasty, and I love that they add fresh fruit pieces. The boba isn't amazing, but it does its job when I'm having a craving for some boba. I went 2 days in a row. Just cause the second day was on the way back home. Our first experience was good. Except for a little confusion in signage. They should probably make a bigger banner to hang over "Honey Boba". I ordered the Green milk tea and my husband the Thai ice tea. They were both good. My cup got the last batch of boba and so my husband decided on lychee jelly for his. The boba was a little under cooked in my opinion, but I hear some people like it that way. I do really love their cute reusable cups. That definitely something that makes them stand out from other Boba spots. Day 2 Decided to try a new tea. So I ordered the Hakkaido milk tea. My mom is not a tea lover, but I knew she's would like their cute cups. So she decided to try the Caramel milk tea. So I get to the car, and my moms like "which ones which" I thought the caramel would be more obvious like Carmel on the the side or something, but no. They looked exactly the same. No markings on the cup or anything. So at this point she has a 50/50 guess on hers. She picks the darker one cause we figure Carmel would be darker, but I've never had the Hakkaido milk tea so I'm not sure what it would look or taste like. She then starts to drink hers and is like no this is yours. Try it! (I mean my moms over 65 has been quarantining with my dad who's 70 and I've been wearing a mask the entire car ride... do I try her drink?) No mom. Try the new one. She didn't want to try it, and got stuck with whatever she was drinking. I get home start drinking my boba I got the freakin CARAMEL!
