Never again! Cuban was burnt, both meat and bread. This place had the balls to automatically add a 20% tip and then leave a space for "additional tip" To me this is an attempt to rip off the customers. My best friend and I wanted to sneak out for a quick late bite on a recent Saturday night, and this place is right up the street. After driving by at 10pm and seeing the parking lot packed, it seemed like a good sign. An hour later at 11pm, we arrive and most of the cars in the parking lot are gone. Why? We quickly find out that the kitchen is closed. The bartender says it's because they close at 1pm. That stinks. Why so early on a weekend? Fine, we are here, let's grab a couple sodas and chat. Shortly after that, at midnight, the security guards (why are there security guards, this isn't a concert) are screaming LAST CALL. Apparently, the security guard is tired boo hoo and wants to get home and go to bed. Not sure why he was in charge, but sure. 10 minutes later, we are being told to hurry up and leave. So, I don't have much to review beyond the experience here, which was dumbfounding. I've never seen a security guard at any establishment who was doubling as the owner/manager, but I hope he got the sleep that he needed. They had posted a new signature cocktail on their Facebook page, and I went specifically for it. When we got there, the parking lot was crowded, but when we walked in, it didn't seem crowded, which was nice. We went to the bar, and sat for a few minutes before someone came over to help us. She asked what we wanted, and I said I wanted the Go Shorty. She knew what it was, but immediately asked another bartender if they had any martini glasses. Not if they were clean or anything, but if they had one. Since it is their signature drink, why do they not have any martini glasses? She couldn't find one, and gave it to me in a rocks glass, which I said was ok. I came there just for that drink, so I wanted to try it regardless of the glass. What I got (pictured) didn't look anything like the picture online. The drink itself didn't really taste like much of anything. She cashed us out, and didn't ask if we wanted to start a tab or anything, and just had us pay. We sat there for at least 10 minutes. No one checked on us or asked if we wanted anything else. And it's not that they were busy. They were busy looking at their phones, but not waiting on customers. My disappointing drink was $8, so I really didn't want another one anyway, so we got up and left. We were out celebrating, and I planned to have several drinks that night. We ended up going across the street, and I actually got some amazingly good drinks at a place that I wouldn't have expected. I'm being generous by giving it 2 stars. 1 star is more deserved, but I'm giving it a bonus star since they're in their new location, so everything was new. Was close to our hotel so we went. Place was packed. I mean with this many people has to have some decent food. We were seated quickly but our waitress was swamped. We saw her running around like crazy. Menu looked good online. I was entranced by the tator tots with pulled pork, jalapenos and cheese. It was horrible. there was a funky spice in the pork that just made it taste weird. At first I thought it was bay leaf or allspice but my husband thought it might be cinnamon or cloves. No idea. It was gross. I told the waitress I didn't like it when she asked. She said she could get me something else. It had taken us 40 min to get that so I was leery but she promised the kitchen wasn't as busy. So I got a chicken quesadilla. I mean how can you screw that up. But she came back and said her manager wouldn't let her swap it out. We hesitated on asking to speak to him because at this point who cares. We just won't come back. No biggie. But she said she could send him over and my husband agreed. He shows up in like 10 minutes. Mind you my husband has eaten his wings, which he thought were great. So he's done and all I had are the pretzels, which were good. Manager comes over, we explain the situation that I just didn't like it blah blah blah and he said there was a misunderstanding and thought we just wanted it taken off the bill which he wouldn't do ‍ but because we ordered something else he allowed the swap. I've never heard anything like that before but whatever. I was super tired and hungry. We got our bill, he didn't actually take off the funky pork tots. So we sent it back again, waited another 10 min and he did. Was a tedious process. We had been traveling all day and just wanted good food. The quesadilla ended up being bland AF with giant chunks of onion and no other seasoning. I don't even think salt. Not even my husband liked it. So overall largely disappointing. It's 3 stars cause my husband liked his food. I would have done 2. On top of all this the place is higher priced. I wanted to get a brownie dessert but at this point I was just over it. My third time there and what a disappointment! My first time i ordered a wrap, it was overpriced and mediocre. I gave it another chance and got wings. How can you mess up wings? I asked for them crispy and, well, it was like biting into flesh! Got the complete opposite! I like to give places at least three chances and I'm sorry I did and wasted my money! Last night was my third and last time. Went there with a friend and we ordered three different appetizers to share. The spinach artichoke dip, which is one of my favorites, was sour tasting, couldn't even eat it! The pizza logs were so over cooked and the side of sauce that came with it was cold and tasted burnt. I love this location! Husband and I went for lunch on a holiday (Labor Day) and day outside. There was only a handful of people also sitting outside as it was pretty cloudy out. We started out with cocktails and the buffalo chicken egg rolls (because it's NY and you can't have a drink without food). The egg rolls are EVERYTHING you would imagine and more. Crispy, fried wonton wraps enfolding spicy, cheesy chicken on the inside and blue cheese to dip in. I washed this down with a White Claw Paloma, so refreshing! For the main course I had the cowboy burger (burger, bacon, cheese, bbq sauce and a giant onion ring on top) and it was delicious! Also the fries were piping hot, perfectly crisp and clearly were fresh out of the fryer. Although you are cozied up to a 6 lane road at this location when sitting outside, it has a "vacation" atmosphere. My husband commented that he was pretending the ocean was on the other side of the road behind the buildings (can you tell we haven't done a vacation this year due to COVID :)). Tonight was the second time I've been in with bad service and frazzled employees- it took over 10 minutes to greater by our waiter. We were giving reusable menus, they seemed a little greasy. When we asked what was on draft, he complained that they should leave a menu on the tables & pulled one off of another un-cleaned table. We put in our whole order & that came out quite fast. I had asked for an an extra side of ranch when I put my order in & some how got a marina cup & a cup of fresh jalapeños- I asked the waiter again for the ranch & he brought me back honey mustard. It took about 15 minutes from finishing our meals to getting his attention for the check. I'd say they were over crowded or understaffed- just overwhelmed. We could over hear the table next to us & the one woman's food came out cold, the waiter (same one we had) didn't really give her a solution.. and her daughters was the completely wrong order. I go to Hooligans a lot and it's always good. I have my go to meals that I order and this time I got their fish tacos. I've had it many times. They are always good with accommodating broiled fish instead of fried. It comes in a flour tortilla with vegetable slaw, pico de gallo, lemon aioli and a side of fries. A common mistake they make is using shredded lettuce instead of slaw. That changes the entire flavor of the taco. So I had to ask for it on the side so I can add it in but other then that these tacos are very good. The fries were great they were hot and crispy. read more

Chicken wings were good, but we didn't have any plates (or silverware for that matter) so we used napkins to place our bones on. We asked for Blue Light and after a long wait got bottles of Blue instead. Asked for a ginger ale refill, never got it. Got soup, but only had a fork to eat it with. Asked for a spoon, and got it after a loooong wait (after the soup was already cold). Asked for no onions on the burger, and got a massive pile of cooked onions stuck in the melted cheese on the burger. Two (partial/incomplete) kids meals came instead of three. One order of fish tacos were cold and the other order of fish tacos got cold while waiting for everyone's meal to get served. We gave up on waiting. Everyone was done with their meals and ready to leave when our elderly mom finally got served her meal. Manager came to apologize so that was a positive, but ultimately, it was a bummer way to end to an otherwise awesome day with our out of town guests. read more

The grilled chicken has a little kick to it so he wasn't use to it but still enjoyed it. I got the pear salad and it was delicious . The candied pecans made the salad. Server was great that's was the only good thing I can say about my experience here. She was the only reason we did not walk out. We were seated at a dirty sticky table and by a garage door area open to patio. When I asked if the table could wipe it down because it was sticky the hostess wiped just a spot in front of me and walked away. She didn't bother to wipe the entire table. We all used the menus as placemats so we didn't have contact to the dirty table. Our food took 55 minutes before we were served, but it was hot. However, the Mac salad and tartar sauce were so over salted we couldn't eat it. The atmosphere was so loud and impossible to have a conversation. We were seated by garage door that was open and it was raining outside,. People were smoking outside in entrance way. The smell was awful and we were getting wet and nausea from the smoke smell blowing in our faces. I approached the hosted after 45 minutes sitting in this miserable condition, still waiting for our food. I asked to be moved to another table because of the smoke smell and the rain. There were 3 tables opened up in the dining room area where we were seated. She told me there were no tables available and walked away. A manager walked by and heard the conversation and turned their back to me and ignored me as well. So I went back to our seat and moved our table away from the door way. A few minutes later, the hostesses came in and had a seated a large party next to us,. Then they able to move a bunch of tables to accommodate them and close the door in the same area where we were prior to me moving the table. I've gone to this restaurant in the past and I've had very good experience there . That was not the case tonight. Front end staff were rude and dismissive. I come here every time that I am in Rochester. I choose my hotel based on its proximity to T.C. Hooligans. The environment is great. The food is among the best for a bar. I travel extensively for work. The pizza is one of the best I have ever had. The Ruben is at least the second best, I eat Rubens everywhere that I go. read more

Our appointment at The Source ran late so when we called around these guys had the shortest wait. Should. Have. Known! We sat after a 20 minute wait Saturday at 6pm. The waitress was pushy to get our order and super neglectful refilling our drinks. We ordered nachos and while they were plentiful for $14n they were oversalted and the cheese sauce was no bueno. Layering was poorly done and having to pay more for meat toppings made them even less spectacular. We got the dryest fried chicken sandwich I have ever had, they forgot the pickles on the side too. The burger which we ordered with pink had none and was charred. Also, no where in the description of the quesadilla burger explain it came as a quesadilla. And there's a specific quesadilla section that does not list the burger. It was poorly assembled as well. Poor service and food Prices are way too high for this shot show too. Plenty of TV'S surrounding you so you don't miss any sports action. Decent size bar too. Love that they added on a patio and bar area, nice option to Bar Louie around the corner. I was just here for a birthday celebration on the patio. There was plenty of room with long tables and a few Adirondack chairs near the very cool looking fire table. The outside bar was great, no waiting, more TV'S across the wall and they had power outlets all under the bar..even better. I usually go with a cold draft beer (always been happy) Also captain and diet ( they don't skimp on the rum) Appetizers are good, Queso chips with sharp cheddar (mild) or the jalapeno yum. The interior looks nice and can accommodate large crowds without it getting too loud. Service was really slow. I think they may have been short staffed due to COVID/ illness. That happens. I had good company, so no big deal. The menu had quite a variety to choose from. I got to sample the regular quesadilla with chicken and the country sweet chicken quesadilla. The regular quesaddila was good. I was a little thrown off by the crispy lettuce and onion in it. But it was actually not bad. The salsa was really good and no complaints about the sour cream. I liked the country sweet quesadilla even more than had no lettuce but plentiful other toppings. They have a ton of tall bar seating (bar and tables). Being on the short side, this is a bummer to me. We were able to move to an open table and the staff were accommodating. I think they could use more traditional table seating for those that are short, larger, have disabilities, or have little kids or older folks in tow. read more
