It was a nice warm night so they had the doors open and everybody pretty much was sitting outside. They have a lot of tables outside - some on the patio and a whole bunch out on the lawn. It's a very family friendly place, with games to play out on the lawn for the kids and adults. They have a decent menu of sandwiches burgers and the usual appetizers/starters. I wasn't that hungry so believe it or not. I ordered off of the kids menu! The burgers were huge. They were double patties and I didn't think I needed that. So I ordered the chicken strips/chicken fingers which came with their potato differs, which are like thin potato wedges. You had your choice of sauces so I got barbecue and lime Crema. Both were really good. My wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich and could only eat part of it because it was huge too. It also came with the potato dippers. She liked what she had of it! So there is a farm that is part of Blue Barn Cidery and they just harvest it a whole bunch of blueberries so they are selling blueberry confections in their gift shop. When you first walk in you walk right through the gift shop which sells honey and candles and T-shirts, etc. They have a whole bunch of choices of cider, but I'm more of a beer guy so I got my favorite, which is Other Half Green City IPA. My wife hasn't been drinking, but she absolutely loves root beer and they have Saranac root beer there so she was happy. It was a very relaxing place to have some dinner and a drink and listen to some music outside. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be coming back.

The exit pathway leading back to the main road is incredibly narrow and lined with massive, heavy rocks. It is completely obvious the owners put them there to keep people off the grass, but they have essentially turned the exit road into a tight obstacle course. To make matters worse, there is zero lighting illuminating these boulders. If you are leaving after dark, they are practically invisible. We hit one of these rocks a couple of years ago with a brand-new truck. Even moving slowly, it resulted in a very expensive body shop repair. We returned yesterday on October 4th, and it was a complete nightmare. The parking lot was packed, and it was bumper-to-bumper trucks and cars trying to squeeze out. It was so chaotic and frustrating that we didn't even end up staying. Our passengers had to watch the side mirrors aggressively just to make sure we didn't scrape the rocks, and my daughter driving behind us said we barely cleared one. It is incredibly upsetting to spend a couple hundred dollars to eat and drink with your family, only to face an expensive vehicle repair on the way out. If you are going to line a narrow driveway with truck-damaging boulders to protect your lawn, you absolutely must install proper roadway lighting so drivers can see them at night. If you drive a large vehicle, be warned: take a smaller car or avoid this place when it's busy."

I found this to be incredibly tender. I did however find this to be under-seasoned and 30% of the prime rib to be pure fat, but nevertheless this was tasty. For dessert, I opted in for their vanilla creme brulee which was tasty. The consistency of the custard, I found to not be as smooth as I'm used to, but again nevertheless it was tasty. I have to point out the service and hospitality from Audrey (our Server), and Declan (helper) was impeccable. Audrey was professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
