Arrived at Hollerhorn at 3:00 on Sunday March 1st. We were told that there were no seats available for us to enjoy one drink. we have been to this establishment many times before and we brought a couple with us who are owners of a new Brewery and were looking at your products to see if they could serve it in their Brewery. we were told that they had no room to seat us. After some discussion we were told that we could have a drink and had to be out by 4:30. We had a very pleasant waitress and enjoyed our drinks, when we left there was a 2 parties seated at tables. Very poor customer service by the gentleman at the front door. You probably lost a lot of product sales because of him. read more

I'm giving it 5 stars! The two people handling the bar were an absolute delight. They are funny, sassy and the best people. So much fun! They have a small number of cocktails and liquor you can try. So don't think you will order from a list of fifty things to choose from. That being said, their liquor is excellent - i ofc understand taste is personal and you may not agree. Gorgeous distillery right here on the finger lakes. This distillery has ample seating indoors and on their outdoor patio. They also take reservations. The menu is expansive and has something for every palate. They offer a few vegetarian and gluten free options as well. Cocktails were super unique and the dessert menu was phenomenal. First time at Hollerhorn. The place is beautiful. We were there for a charity event. The drink selection is large and wonderful - if distilled beverages are not your thing - they have a large selection of other drinks including great mixed options. I was so impressed by the food. We had some of the most amazing appetizers- upscale flavors made everything delicious. Especially loved the steam buns with amazing pickles and delicious pork belly. Very nice staff - the owner was there and could not be nicer. We had to bring home some of their delicious distillations - try the one made from maple syrup. Amazing food! We went here two nights in a row, the food was so good we had to go back and try more. First night we got the smash burger and fish fry, both amazing. Second night fish fry (again, it was the best I've ever had) chicken sandwich (my friend said she dreamed about it that night it was so good) and soba noodles with chicken (excellent, just the right amount of spice and so much flavor!) I have been to Hollerhorn a couple times now. Food and service is always great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I love the options they have for drinks. They even have some popular out of state craft beer! They have a drink smoker! I would recommend making reservations, especially if you are coming as a group. Atmosphere is laid back. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are in Naples. The only complaint I have is that my husband and I showed up on a Friday at 1 pm. They found us seating, but definitely expressed the fact they had saved seats for reservations. We stayed there 2 hours and maybe 2 groups of 2 showed up. We came here for Father's Day to see an amazing musical group playing--I believe they were called the Charlie Lindner Trio. The ambiance was great and the place was packed. When we first walked in, there was no tables available and they didn't tell us how long a wait would be. However, we were still able to order food and drinks at the bar. I told the host that we'd ordered food, and she went out of her way to find us a table so we would have a place to put our food. For drinks, I got the strawberry milk punch. This wasn't bad, but wasn't what I expected. I thought it would be creamy in some way and maybe fruitier than it was. My boyfriend got the coffee and cigars, which was pretty neat because they put it in this little chamber and infuse it with cigar smoke (if you're into that sort of flavor). For food, we got the cuban, a cheese plate, another plate with a sweet potato dip, and the corndog. The cuban wasn't bad; it was about average. The cheese plate was really good, with strawberries, blueberries, dried apricots, and three different cheeses. I believe one was a cheddar, another was similar to brie, and the other was a more funky one. It also came with a really great toasted bread that had excellent texture and flavor. The sweet potato dip plate was served with that same bread, as well as some pickled red onions--this was a favorite. The sweetness of the dip, and the sourness of the onions paired well. The horndog was pretty decent, I'd say a 4/5. I'd definitely return here for another show; it's a really nice venue with good food and drinks. read more

Beautiful view from the deck, until all the rain came :) I tried a Naples mule... vodka, concord grape juice, ginger beer and a lime....it was good but I could only have one (very sweet) $9. I switched to beer, great selection. Happy to see sip of sunshine ...made sure to get one of those! I was surprised to see it wasn't to busy here for a Saturday night or there was no live music. This was our first visit to Hollerhorn Distilling in Naples. It was recommended to us by the gal at Inspire Moore Winery. The atmosphere is great! The bartenders are friendly and are also "Mixologists" if you will. They will create something for you if you ask. They do have some pretty cool cocktails (although slightly expensive). We shared a burger and it was fantastic! BUT... I have to say my favorite part about lunch was the cinnamon bun cookie. O.M.G SOOOO good! I'd return just for that!! Order the NAPLES MULE - No Regrets! Definitely not your local Naples Townie bar. This place is like a speakeasy vibe to it with quality drink (and costly) drinks. I can't speak for the food just yet, but while I was there the bartender recommended the Bison burgers and let me know that the man sitting next to me was actually the local man that supplies their meat. Interesting! There is limited parking near the entrancement and there is a lower second parking lot down the driveway/hill. Drive is muddy ladies, so be prepared. This is truly one of my favorite places I've been and I truly mean that. The whole aesthetic of this place is literally my dream. If my house could look like this I would be very content. We got a little back story on the place and the owners toured around Europe and decided to open their own distillery. They built the entire place from the ground up and the mural is designed and drawn with charcoal pencil by one of the ow ers! The modern rustic feel of this place is absolutely gorgeous. The view on the outside a giant hill and a valley that has a small pond. The alcohol was great! So strong but so unique and delicious. We got the house ricotta and it was amazing. I absolutely adored all the unique and deep flavors of it! Check this place out!!! RUN don't walk! They're also creating an area for live music in the back! I visited Hollerhorn Distilling this past fall for a weekend trip with family. I was blown away, not only by the views and the location, but by the quality of the spirits and the food as well. We were able to sit outside on their deck, and it overlooked the rolling hills in Naples. We ordered the flight of spirits which was very strong but of quality. Then the food was really some of the best I've had in a while. The menu constantly changes, and we ordered a veggie sandwich, and two specialty burgers. I had the burger, and it was so unique and delicious! The service was exceptional and everyone was extremely friendly. I had delicious mushroom burria tacos, and the pork with corn bread was also excellent. That said, the service isn't ideal. Our server clocked out halfway through our meal without telling us, and at one point we went quite a while without being able to signal anyone to get the check. We then split the baked camembert, chicken schnitzel, house burger, and cacio e pepe potatoes. If there is anything you get from this review, please please order the camembert + burger. Pros: Decent number of vegan options (and clearly marked as such on the menu); butternut squash soup was outstanding; vegan meatball sub was decent; some interesting cocktails available; located in a scenic spot; staff were all friendly. Cons: Indian fried rice entrée was lacking; bathrooms were confusing; no availability of non-alcoholic beer My wife and I are both vegans, and we dined at Hollerhorn for the first time recently. We both came away impressed. The highlight of the meal was the butternut squash soup. It was bursting with flavor and had a bit of a kick to it (which is definitely a good thing). I think the soup was topped with some kind of spiced oil. I wish I knew the recipe for this dish, so I could make it at home. I might suggest that they serve the soup in a deeper bowl, so the soup doesn't get cold as quickly, and so it takes up less space on the table. My wife ordered the vegan meatball sub. I had a couple of bites of it, and I liked it a lot. The Italian herbs really came through, though the meatballs were just a bit too mushy for my taste. My wife didn't mind the texture, and she really enjoyed the sandwich. I had the Indian fried rice with the optional tofu added. It was really filling, but I wish it had more flavor (and a bit more salt). I topped it with some Sriracha sauce, so it ended up being OK. I think the rice could have also benefitted from a little cup of chutney on the side. My wife and our dining companions really liked their cocktails, and I enjoyed watching the bartenders mix those drinks (that cocktail smoker was really cool). Hollerhorn has lots of fancy options for mixed drinks and beer. I don't drink alcohol, so I had a ginger beer (it was good). I do wish that they had some non-alcoholic beers available. The menu listed two mock cocktails, but neither one appealed to me. Still, it's nice that they had those options right on the menu. The bathrooms caused me some confusion (and, I found out later, they confused my wife, as well). As it turns out, the word "Damen" was the label that identified the women's room. But my first thought was that "Damen" was some kind of hipster-speak for "Da Men's Room". I almost went into that room, but then I checked the other bathroom right next to it. The label was "Herren". Because the word started with "Her", I thought it might be the women's room. Eventually, I figured out that "Herren" must be related to the German word "Herr" (meaning "Mister"), so that must be the men's room. On the ride home from the restaurant, my wife confessed that she was puzzled by the labels, as well. I might suggest making both bathrooms unisex. Such a move would benefit non-binary diners, and it would be less confusing to people (like me) whose knowledge of German is limited to what they learned from watching "Hogan's Heroes". If the owners don't want to make the bathrooms unisex, maybe they can at least add little stick-figure diagrams and/or English translations of the German words. A few other things to note: Hollerhorn is located in a very scenic, beautiful area. Our party didn't sit on the outside deck, but we went out there to take some photos and admire the autumn scenery. Also, all of the Hollerhorn staff were friendly and attentive. The bottom line is that everyone in our dinner party enjoyed our meal very much, and we intend to come back again soon. read more

7 of us stopped in for an early dinner on a recent Saturday. I had called ahead to be sure there was a table. We were seated immediately, and our server came right over to take our drink orders and describe the specials. The drink menu was great, with cocktails made from their own spirits as well as some popular brands. Plenty of local wine and beer as well. We had the Fall menu, and there were plenty of selections, traditional, vegan and gluten free, all incorporating local ingredients. The food came out pretty quickly, and it was hot. I had the schnitzel; delicious-local heritage pork with braised red cabbage and potato salad. Two forks up! Everyone said their meals were great. The best part was the service, everyone was so nice, and they worked together very well. We arrived at 3:30, and there were already a few tables seated. By the time we left the place was full, including the bar. Pro Tip: There is an upper parking lot if you can't walk up the short hill. read more

Do yourself a favor and go here!!! My fiancée and I are vacation in the area, doing some wine tastings. Our amazing Airbnb host was giving us some recommendations and said that her friend had just visited this restaurant and loved it. Being 5 minutes away we decided to give it a try. Boy, this is only our first night and the other restaurants we go to already some serious competition! The decor is right up our alley, styled after what seemed to be like an old west saloon or huntsman lodge, complete with a really cool live band that sounded like they were from the era. The place has Lots of beautiful woodwork that in and of itself makes it worth stopping in for a drink. The first waitress noticed us right away and directed us to sit wherever we'd like but pointed us to an awesome little fireside leather couch that had just opened up. We sat down and she said when we were ready to go up to the bar to place an order. I ordered a Smokey Old Fashioned and a pickled shrimp dish (I can't remember what it was called and it's not on their online menu) and both were utterly fantastic! I can't express how impressed I am with this meal. The old fashioned has bitters in it and I absolutely detest bitters but I loved this drink anyway. Definitely changed my opinion on them for sure. The shrimp were very fresh tasting and came with some nice pickled veggies, toast points and a dip that was savory with a hint of sweetness. My fiancée got the Red Winter Sangria and the mushroom barley burger. The sangria was one of the best sangrias we've ever had, and we've had A LOT of sangria. What made it so special is that it's very flavorful and fruit heavy, without being too sweet. With a lot of sangria now a days, they're often overly sweet from how they're traditionally made. This one fell right where it needs to be for full flavor without being overpowered with sugar. The veggie burger was exploding with flavor. Veggie burgers, we often find are very hit or miss but this one definitely was a hit. The potatoes that came with it were great (could have used a tad bit more salt but still wickedly tasty). You could really taste that this was a fresh potato used. Finally, we got The Farmer cheese board. We're in NY's wine country so we had to try some cheeses too. The cheese, I would say were definitely above average for what we normally get on cheese boards. I wish they had told us or labeled the cheeses but there was one soft cheese (which my fiancée normally loves but I'm not a fan of) and it was beautifully tasteful, especially in combination with the jam, nuts/seeds, dried and fresh fruits and warm bread. It hits all the flavors that you want with a good cheese board. I also give a tip of the hat to the waitstaff, they were all so friendly and happy to be there. Not being from the area, I asked one of the guys behind the bar what some of his favorite wineries were and he gave me a whole list of recommendations. The finger lakes seem to be growing in popularity every year, especially as our wine industry is expanding so rapidly and in my opinion, this place is a very welcomed edition. This place is the absolute best!!! My boyfriend and I usually spend a weekend in Naples once a winter for a little cabin getaway, and the distillery was not even 10min away from our AirBnB. The staff was sooo friendly, even some of the patrons greeted us upon arrival, haha. Amazing live bluegrass music filled the place and everyone including us city-slickers were loving it!! We started with this giant pretzel that hit the spot. I tried the Naples Mule which was amazing, and my guy loved his mezcal cocktail. We split some sort of delicious sandwich and played pool upstairs as the staff closed the place down. Everyone was SO accommodating, they helped us decide between drinks and told their story of opening the place and working on distilling their next batch due out this spring.
