He seems like he doesn't want to be there, and is constantly in a rotten mood. If you plug into the wrong cable or do anything slightly wrong, be prepared to be treated like you're the dumbest person on planet earth. We went out to LovinCup in Henrietta for dinner and to see a band called Joe Brucato & Joyous Noise. It was well worth it. The band was great and it was our first time hearing them. The place is pretty big and we called and made reservations ahead of time, however we were told that we'd be seated clear on the other side with no sightline to the band, which was the reason why we were there. So we opted to sit at the bar to have our drinks & dinner. We told the host where we'd be and about 30-45 minutes later after our dinner was served and we were almost done we were seated at a bar top table and lucky for us with a great sightline to the band. The food was really good for our appetizer we ordered the Cauliflornication which was their version of a vegetarian chicken wing if you will. We opted for the garlic Parmesan peppercorn flavor. It was great I recommend ordering that for either a main course or an appetizer. I ordered the veggie burger and fries which I thought was good and the burger came with Thousand island dressing which made it even tastier I dipped my fries in it and I thought it was pretty tasty. My significant other got the French dip style sandwich with Mac & cheese he also enjoyed his meal. The bartender was a really nice girl that we exchanged pleasantries with so that was nice because of the band she was really busy and the bar was pretty crowded. First time going, seeing some live music with ROC star academy. Thought it was open seating because of previous shows with the academy (I was wrong lol) but the bald gentleman that said it was strictly sit down seating and said it in a very rude manner. He said "you don't own this place" when I mistakenly walked past the host stand. Obviously I would have not passed the host stand if i knew what was going on but he did not have to say it in a rude way. Along with that he also was snarky about the cover cost a bit. Food was good but nothing special. I got the Hot for Teacher Panini with fries. Wasn't very thick like the pictures in the menu. Fries were good along with the pesto mayo sauce. Server never checked on me after a runner delivered the food and never asked if I wanted a refill on my water. There was music so I wasn't expecting crazy hospitality but at least a quick check in would have been nice. Nice venue, Food good, service horrible. With my experience here and as a hospitality worker myself, this place can be fantastic but the people working need to definitely step it up if they want to create and retain patrons. read more

Visited on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner after a Pickelball tournament. My friends and I had the place to ourselves. We enjoyed our lunch and mocktails. The service was amazing. Drove all the way from Salamanca, NY to Lovin Cup to watch their yearly holiday show (featuring music from Jim Henson and the holiday classic Emmet otter's Jug Band Christmas). Our neighbors made the trip with us and loved our entire experience here! The wait staff was superb and helped us with any questions or refills. The holiday show was top-notch that brought back many great memories also! A yearly must-see. Got dessert's and coffee's for the show. The Butterfinger Cheesecake was out of this world as well as my wife's Bourbon Pecan Pie. Our guests got a Red Velvet Cake slice as well as a cheesecake of their own. Coffee was fresh and flavorful! I love the lovin cup! Such a great and unique spot different from most places in Rochester - they are a restaurant, full bar, coffee bar and stage with live performances. Each week they have many themed days with events and random ones thrown in to always offer locals something to do. Some events include salsa dancing, trivia, open mic, comedy etc... The atmosphere is diverse, contemporary and artsy just a chill place to hang with friends or to do some work or really whatever you wanna do. Being located next to RIT it seems to mostly a younger crowd but there are families and old couples as well. Their coffee is almost too sophisticated for me. The cocktails are unique and very tasty (but small). And what's really different about their cocktails is you can make anyone into a mock-tail. I have yet to try their food HOWEVER IT LOOKS AND SMELLS AMAZING !! Local bakery makes the bread and quality is outstanding. I appreciate that it's not just a ubiquitous Impossible burger, but I wish it was completely vegan. Their fries are amazing--thin and crispy. Our party of 15 visited this place mid-week for lunch. The service was fast, efficient and friendly. I ordered the French Kiss which a beef dip sandwich, au jus dipping sauce, and french fries. The fries were good but the sandwich was void of any taste. Just didn't have any appeal. Other restaurants usually ask what type of cheese you want in the sandwich. Unique atmosphere and awesome vibe for live music. There was a cover charge for the funk band 'Shine' and they were totally worth it! Excellent repertoire of songs and lots of energy. The whole crowd was tapping their toes or dancing out on the main floor. We had dessert of a hot dirty chai tea and a slice of carrot cake. It was a great evening out with my hubby. What a great spot to grab a bite to eat! This place was pretty full by noon on a Thursday, so definitely get here a little early if you want to grab lunch. I opted for the culture club turkey panini and a side salad in place of fries. First off, the bread that the sandwich came on was delicious and really made for a giant panini. I also really liked the red pepper Mayo on the side too as it brought the sandwich to another level with every dip. The salad was plentiful too. They had a nice outdoor tented area to eat. The menu is casual and not fancy food. But the Bayou Wease burger was delicious. So are their fries. They have a basic kids menu, even though it's not on their website. The kids burger is actually good sized. Only complaint about the outdoor eating is that the mosquitoes came out and ate me alive while I ate my dinner. Perhaps they could try some fans or gas firepits/heaters to deter them? I have been there when they first open and I have not been there for a long time. I finally came to lovin cup and noticed how much it has changed. Nothing else that I have remembered at all. The menu has improved because they provided the limited food last time and now I noticed they provided more varies of food. I'm pretty impressed with their food especially their dip. It was so delicious! I had chicken wings and eggplant panini with the cocktail. It was absolutely delicious!! The waitress is well served us last night at late night as they closes at 10 PM but they did not pressure us to finish up so they can close. They are very friendly. I appreciate their patience for us to finish our meal in relaxing manner. Thank you!!! FYI, for people who want to bring dogs. They allow dogs to stay outside so they won't violate the code. The parking lot is plenty for everyone to park and it is next to lovin cup. You may not feel stressed to find the spot during the specific time. I was thinking about the places I've been missing most, and those that I am the MOST excited to return to once we've "moved on" from COVID. Lovin' Cup is very high up on that list. What an incredible space filled with beer, community, great music, and great food. I head to Lovin' Cup semi-regularly to watch bands play, enjoy lunch with my mom, a beer on the patio, and of course enjoy the incredible festivals that Leslie and the team puts together. I haven't been out to Henrietta really at all since the pandemic started, and I need to make a special trip and order some takeout ASAP. The menu at LC will please whoever you are dining with. I've been ordering the "Hot for Teacher" panini since I first came to Lovin'Cup while in high school, and it hasn't left their menu...which is AMAZING. It's a chicken pesto panini grilled to perfection and served with a mayo on the side that still feels nostalgic to this day. I've heard they are doing a fantastic job with COVID safety precautions. I can't recommend this spot enough. Always showing up for the Rochester community and a huge reason many local musicians feel they have a home to play here in Rochester. Not only was the food delicious the menu was really entertaining. Items are named in homage to music. I had the OPOS I DID IT A'GRAIN. There are PLENTY of vegetarian choices as well as vegan. The staff is pleasant as we well, as we wee leaving the hostess gave us some insight to the history of the building. The chicken seemed cooked right and the sandwich held together well. Came with a larger group and server was fairly attentive and accommodating, despite being a busier night with a band playing. It was a real pleasure for my wife and me to visit Lovin' Cup last night to see the Levin Brothers. It was nice to see the staff so organized. We were greeted right away and given our choice of seats before the show. Just about every seat is a good place to sit, the views of the stage are very good. I suggest the taller tables, you can see over everyone with no problem and they are roomy enough to eat at. Our server, Danielle, was attentive and friendly. She took care of all our needs and wants. The next time I go to Lovin' Cup, I'll make sure I don't eat for a few days before. Portions are generous, to say the least. We got an order of Fizzle Fries to start with, and the bowl was huge! There was a terrific dipping sauce on the side, and it was VERY tasty. Then we ordered our entrees. I went with the BLT and my wife had a Reuben. I think the BLT had an entire pound of bacon on it. The lettuce and tomato were good and fresh and the toasted bread was fantastic. I'll be honest here, when I first saw $11 for a BLT I flinched. Now I know why, and it was worth every penny. My wife said her Reuben was very good too, and she's a real stickler when it comes to her Reubens. Lovin' Cup is a great venue for this type of show. It's small enough to be intimate and big enough to be comfortable. The band was chatty and connected with the audience. The music was just incredible! I had met Tony Levin over 50 years ago, and we chatted for a few minutes about some of the friends we had. Obviously we're not close friends, but it was great to reminisce a bit. They played a wide range of tunes, some original and some covers. There were tunes from Jimi Hendrix, Paul Simon, Steely Dan, and King Crimson. The entire staff of the Lovin' Cup is to be congratulated for the service they give to patrons. They meet every need and do so with friendly faces. I want to thank everyone at the Lovin' Cup for a great Saturday night of entertainment. We're senior citizens and how we spend our entertainment dollar means a lot to us. You can bet that when the Levin Brothers Band comes to Lovin' Cup again, we'll be there. read more

I stopped in today for lunch with my dad and we were seated and served right away, even though it was busy. Our server was very friendly and took great care of us! The food came out promptly, too. I ordered the chicken caesar wrap (I think it was called Caese the Day) and it was packed with chicken and very filling; I only ate half of it and was full. I also had the Lemon Pepper Chicken soup, very good with just a hint of lemon, and a side of fries. I like that the fries are shoestring and crispy. My dad ordered the BLT and broccoli and cheddar soup. We were both surprised at how much bacon was on the BLT. He said it was very good and also filling. I had the Instant Karmal! latte and it was perfect. It's definitely sweet, but if you're ordering a caramel latte then that's probably what you want. I loved the caramel flavor and it was nice and warming on a cool fall day. I always enjoy my experience at Lovin Cup, whether it's dining in or just hanging out and enjoying the live music events they have at night. The ample outdoor seating is nice in the summer, too. They offer live music and a full bar, as well as delicious food, reasonably priced. Today we had lunch there. They offer soups, salads, sandwiches, Ramon noodle bowls, grain bowls and more.
