Discovered this cider on a whimp, at one of the local area Tops, found a can on sale of White Peach Mango and loved everything about it. The hard cidery industry in my opinion, has exploded over the last three years. My friend and I took a drive there this past Friday evening. Overall, the atmosphere was warm, cozy and spacious being located in a barn. My friend and I split a flight of cider, and she opted for small appetizers. Staff were exceptional, pleasant and one could tell they enjoyed their jobs. Cider and merchandise are located at their store, right when you enter or leave. Cider prices are affordable as everything is made right there, 4 packs at $15, single cans at $5 , and single samples at $3. In addition to cider, smaller plates, beer, craft cocktails. Even looked like there might be apple picking in fall, along with other events. Would like to come back another tie for an event, or over summer when it's warmer.

Night out with friends to do adult Easter egg hunt. $30 included 1 drink, 12 dozen eggs which includes candy, raffle tickets and free prizes. We ordered steak tacos and pretzels. Prizes were apparel, ciders. They had 2 bonus eggs camo and golden. Camo egg won $250 gc and golden won free cider for rest of year. Service was good

Such a fun spot with a beautiful vibe and atmosphere. Definitely gets crowded on the warmer weather weekend. Lots of kids and it is dog friendly so that can make it a bit hectic but it's fun regardless :) Ciders are great! Very tasty and a large variety. The food is good too- their system of ordering and bringing a buzzer is helpful too because you can relax, sip your cider and wait! We always make sure to return when we are in the area!

We have been multiple times for dinner and once for brunch. We love coming here and enjoying the food and great selection of ciders/ IPAs. The food is always fresh and hot when it comes out. The brunch food was delicious! The service is fast and everyone is always friendly. Love the new artwork they just added. Such a wonderful place!!

A friend and I stopped into Blue Barn Cidery for a flight late Friday afternoon and had a great time! We had no problems finding a parking spot in their giant lot. The inside of Blue Barn Cidery is beautiful and incredibly spacious with tons of rolling tables and stools inside and wooden tables outside. We chose to stay inside as it was a cool October afternoon. The noise level inside was great, we didn't feel like we had to yell across the table to talk to each other as we sipped on our flights. The woman working the bar was very friendly and efficient and offered tips on what to try. Their flights let you sample four drinks for $9, a pretty reasonable price for the amount and size of the glasses and pours. Out of the four I drank, my favorite was their Jostaberry Jam cider - a semi-sweet cider bursting with flavor but it wasn't pucker-y sweet like some ciders can be. I was very impressed with Blue Barn Cidery, especially for not being a big hard cider drinker! I really like their space and definitely want to come back and try some more.

Absolutely beautiful. The ambiance of the place was peaceful, yet tasteful. My dog was able to enjoy the day with us as we sipped delicious cider and munched on some of the best French fries I've had in a while. The garlic aioli for our French fries seemed different at first, but after trying it; was the perfect pairing. Great job by the friendly staff, and we enjoyed excellent scenery.

This place is a summer gem. Plenty of seating, indoor and outdoor, dog friendly, tasty food, and a whole menu of ciders and some beers. The nachos have tons of toppings, good amount of meat. The quesadilla is very heavy cheese and meat. The sweet potato fries were fun and the charred broccolini was crisped to perfection. The space overall is really great and is accommodating for large groups. You could probably get away with having birthday party or a small shower event without much issue.

Had my second Blue Barn experience over the weekend (my first being at a Yelp event a few years back!) and am continually amazed by this family-run business. WOW. We had the absolute best time and I am so glad they are open and thriving post-Corona times. HUGE outdoor dining area, convenient check in and getting squared away with a host upon walking in, and the eats were SO good. Nevermind the fact that they currently have the most amazing blueberry cider on tap - served with their farm grown blueberries. We also enjoyed the nachos, which were delicious and loaded up with a fabulous corn salsa. Their menu is the perfect accompaniment to their cider menu, and our dining dates really enjoyed the burger. I snagged a few fries and they were crispy perfection. Did you know - you can also come here for U pick? A great way to spend the day with family, picking berries then coming in for cider and lunch or dinner. I can't recommend Blue Barn enough and look forward to reviewing their Wedding space, the Pomona, after I attend a wedding there this upcoming May!

This was my first trip out to Hilton and it was also the day of the Blue Barns Blueberry Festival so it was hopping. We were there celebrating a friend's birthday and the staff did a fantastic job accommodating everyone. I ventured outside and they had several tables with umbrellas, a Snack Shack and additional bathrooms. The selection of food and drinks available was great and I tried the pineapple cider. Delicious!

Love this place!! Went for the first time Saturday night with friends and family. Great food--the Brie in puff pastry with bourbon apples was DELICIOUS!! The pulled pork quesadilla was also great and huge. Everything was well executed!! They have indoor seating, well as outdoor & the outdoor is dog friendly! Definitely want to go again!

Great atmosphere with even better drinks! There was a live singer the night we went and he was amazing. The flight was delicious! Great food options too!

This cidery is awesome. I was a bit taken back by the system of which you get your food. A waitress does not come to the table you have to go up and order your food but it was fine. The breakfast tacos were great! I love the creama on there. And that French toast was outta this world. We ordered the food and it was ready in less than 5 mins . Staff was friendly and was helpful when choosing my flight. I would definitely recommend and come back.

Their dry ciders are delicious, and they have converted me into a Mead lover! Who knew mead could be dry? Even their sweeter ciders and meads strike the right balance and are not stomach-churning sugar water like most of the other local cideries around. I often go with friends who are beer drinkers and wish they had a few more beer options for them, but their new cocktails have helped round out their offering. The taproom itself could use some updates, but overall, it is clean and inviting. What has left the biggest impression on me is how much the person behind the bar can contribute to the atmosphere. I have been lucky enough on my last few trips to have been waited on by Matt. They have always had good bartenders, but Matt is standout. He is engaging and funny and I constantly have to ask him "What song is this" whenever his playlist is on. Overall, I highly recommend trying Seed + Stone and don't be afraid to try the Mead, it's really quite good!

Excellent experience at this local cidery!…read more The male owner (??) was soft-spoken, patient, and basically had the perfect flight for our group of 4. It was like he read our minds! He had 9 ciders on tap and they ranged from the standard cidery - just apple - to fruity blends. They also varied from dry to sweeter. The 9 pours worked out to $27 and the glasses were a good size! There were some seating indoors, inside the renovated farmhouse. The majority of the seating is outdoors, on wood picnic tables. Be aware tho 'cause the tables underneath the trees were covered in ants, there was a whiff of cow manure, & cidery is perched overlooking a main road so there are cars whizzing by. So if you don't like these things, best to sit indoors. Highlights for me were "Mint To Be" (tasted like spa water), "Ginspired" (tasted like gin), & "Just Peachy". Like the other reviewers said, it's a drier style cider, but honestly, they were still enjoyable to me and I don't like super dry wines! After we finished our flight, I made a mental note of the ones that I wanted to purchase, but to my disappointment only Crimson Crisp was available in a can. The rest of them were only available in 750mL bottles for ~$20/bottle. So I just ended up buying 1 bottle as opposed to a few cans. I'd say that that was my only complaint. A great stop in Picton if you enjoy ciders!

But that didn't stop them from welcoming people to purchase their wonderful cider in a drive thru format after pre-ordering. There was a Google order form and Black Creek Cidery advertised on their Facebook page. I ordered two four-packs. One four pack of their Orchard Tea and Dry Orchard, and the other four-pack was mixed, including jalapeno, rat bastard and blackcurrent. Pick up was the first Saturday in December for a couple hours. Everything was well marked, and directions were displayed on the Google form, the confirmation that came to my email, as well as a post on Facebook. When I pulled in, I was immediately directed by several groups of people, all wearing masks. They were all exceptionally friendly and jovial. I pulled up to the main area, told them my last name and my four packs were put in my backseat. Bonus, each four pack came with a tote bag, separating the bottles and making sure they didn't bang around, as well as a bottle opener, because you'll need one to open this delicious cider. This is the only cider I'll drink and I'll tell you why. I have tried many ciders because I can't drink beer anymore, and this is now my drink of choice when I am in the presence of people drinking beer and when I don't want to drink hard liquor or hard seltzer. Black Creek's cider doesn't leave you with that weird phlegmy thing happening in your mouth and throat. They aren't too sweet either. They are absolutely perfect. I can't wait to try the other flavors I purchased. This is a family-run business and everyone who I encountered while safely going through the drive thru was delightful. You can get Black Creek Cider at local retailers throughout the year, but they only open up their home once a year. If you want to meet the hardworking people who make this fabulous cider, stop by on that day. If you happen to see this in your liquor store, pick up a bottle, or 6 or 12. You won't be disappointed and you'll be supporting a local, hardworking family business. You can tell everyone is passionate and excited about creating cider and meeting people who enjoy consuming it.
