We got an informative explanation of the menu and more! We were also lucky enough to have our hot toddy's prepared table side. The food was amazing. We got the chicken wing dip and a arugula balsamic pizza. Both were delicious and a compliment to the drinks. I got a plum cider second round. The drink menu has something for everyone from intriguing cocktails to tasty ciders. The whole experience was great. The location is perfect and the atmosphere is fun and warm. I recommend this place to everyone visiting Rochester! The cider flights are great and there is a large selection to choose from. Mimosa flights are another favorite! The pizzas are my favorite menu item. I've tried most of the breakfast sandwiches as well and they're delicious, but a little greasy for my preference. This is a very busy restaurant on the weekends. Plan to arrive early and prepare to wait a bit for a table and for food. I believe they cook the food for the bar next door as well, so sometimes the wait is long. There is always a specialty popcorn on rotation which is an added bonus. On Thursday nights, you can pay $50 for 2 cider flights, popcorn, a pizza, and a dessert for their date night special! It's usually quiet on week nights and my favorite time to visit. There is indoor as well as ourdoor seating. There are a few board games to choose from inside if I remember correctly. There are also trivia nights hosted here from time to time. What a great place to get brunch and delicious drinks! Located a mile or two from the Auditorium Theater in Rochester, this was a good stop before a show. While they don't seem to make their own cider, they have about 25 taps of cider from various places (most of which are local). They also have beer, cocktail and non-alcoholic options as well. I was most impressed with how extensive their brunch menu was for such a small place. They have a variety of specialized waffles, breakfast sandwiches and burritos, and other breakfast faves. I opted for a simple breakfast sandwiches that had bacon, egg, cheese, hash browns and garlic aioli. My mom had the steak burrito, which was huge! We also split a cider flight and our waiter was great at giving suggestions. There were only 1 or two waiters, but they were quick and efficient with getting orders and food/drinks out. Stopped by the Mullers Cider house with a friend the other night to catch up and celebrate the year. The location is super easy to find and there's is a decent amount of street parking. The place itself wasn't that busy on Thursday but I can see it being a busy on a weekends. The staff was very nice and easy to deal with. The menus are all virtual so it's super easy to pick out what you want via a phone. My friend and I each got a cider flight and were both super happy with our choices. We also got a dip flight which came with a buffalo chicken dip, guacamole, and a sour cream based dip. The chips were good and sturdy. Overall very good appetizers. I went to Mullers recently for the first time in a while. I was disappointed to see that they no longer served kettle corn, but the pizza we ended up ordering was absolutely delicious (pickle pizza). The main reason I could not give this visit a 5 star was because of our server. Ken started off well with suggesting a few things and taking our order, but that was the extent of it. Somebody else brought our food and drinks over and he never came back to check on us or ask if we needed more drinks. He would just kind of disappear from the floor or go outside for long periods of time even though there weren't any tables out there. One odd item was a popcorn flight, which we ordered, but were not thrilled with. Came here with a group on a Friday night and had seating immediately. Service was excellent here. Tried two different flights (I think that's the best bet given how many cider options there are). There is a lot of food/drink options too. Among those we tried (8 different ones), I think my least favorite was the cherry but my favorite was by far the guava cider - so fragrant and delicious. The flights come in plastic cups but after you're done with the tasting and settle on a flavor, it comes in a regular glass. The huge variety of ciders and cider mixed drinks was what initially made me super interested in stopping by. I loved the variety of ciders available and they have fun drinks like cider slushies, cider mimosas, etc. We went on a Friday evening. It wasn't too crowded and we were immediately seated. We tried one of the ciders and the cider slushies. Both were great! I thought the cider slushies were really fun. We decided to split a pizza, and chose the Mullers Hot. This pizza took over 45 minutes to come out. I thought that was crazy! A bunch of people who ordered appetizers who sat after us got served before us so next time, we probably are going to go that route. The $18 pizza was not worth it, it was very greasy, the chicken was not crispy, and it just took waaaaay too long to come out. The service was also okay, but there were only two of them working in the front so I understand. I probably would come again, but just for the ciders and an appetizer. We just came here for the first time, and will definitely be coming back! My husband and I shared two flights of cider, trying eight different kinds and loving each one. We prefer dry and semi dry, and our waiter. Kenny, and another server made wonderful suggestions. My husband is dairy free and ordered the vegan pizza which had vegan meatballs and vegan cheese, red bell peppers, and a delicious thin crust. He absolutely loved it. I ordered a pork Carnitas sandwich, which came on a fresh, delicious brioche bun, with a homemade coleslaw, delicious pork that was definitely made in-house, bbq sauce and a generous amount of melted cheddar cheese. It was phenomenal. I opted for the potato chips as my side - they were from a local company and tasted very good. We will definitely be back. I can't say enough about this wonderful place. The restaurant/bar is very attractive and has exceedingly high ceilings, so conversation is a non-issue because there is no noise problem. This was a date night for us with Taco Tuesday. Atmosphere was very chill. Love the wide selection in draft ciders. I went with the Pumpkin spice cider and my husband went with the Cider donut cider. Both were delicious. We ordered the nachos, Buffalo wing dip, adobo mushroom taco and pulled pork taco off their Taco Tuesday menu. The tacos and food were nothing to write home about and at $4 or $5 a piece, you can get better at other restaurants in the area that do Taco Tuesday. Nachos also came out a bit burnt. I would give this a 3.5. Came to the restaurant expecting outdoor seating. They do not have outdoor seating, should update to reflect amenities of establishment. The waiter was very nice, we seated ourselves. Waiter came around 6 minutes later, drinks came, however we waited 30-45 minutes for food, we ended up getting the pizza (entree) before our pretzel (appetizer). He did not check on our table during our visit. The wait was a bit too long for my taste, I ended up drinking a whole drink on an empty stomach. I tried this cidery last month right at the start of fall. We ate Stifler's mom (pesto, gouda, chicken) and the mafia melt (buffalo chicken) sandwiches. The kettle corn and coleslaw were excellent sides. The buffalo chicken was the better sandwich, had a good kick but not too spicy, and sauced but not soggy. We enjoyed a flight followed by multiple individual cider glasses. Our favorite was the War Horse Fall Spice. We also enjoyed the Pumpkin Spice, peach and tropical ciders. My friends and I came here right around the time they opened, so it wasn't busy and we didn't have any issues finding parking in the lot next to the building. Service: Waitress was very lax and wasn't very personable. She would respond to our orders and questions with "mmhmm" and "uh huh" which isn't the greatest way to speak to customers. Food & Drinks: I ordered the regular mimosa flight which wasn't bad at all. They give it to you in plastic cups - not sure if that's something they've always done or new. My favorite one was the mimosa with pineapple juice in it - I could definitely drink a whole glass of that one! For food, I ordered the McLovin and had a slice of the 585 pizza my friend ordered. Both were pretty underwhelming. The pizza kind of smelled like sink water and wasn't that flavorful. The McLovin was also disappointing. The garlic aioli was very bland and the sandwich itself was dry. Really the only part of the sandwich I enjoyed was the bacon. It also came with a side of berries and whipped cream which honestly threw off the meal. My friend found hair in the whipped cream, so we ended up skipping that portion. We were one of the first people in the restaurant, but it took our food over half an hour to get to our table. Overall, I'd recommend going for their great drink options and maybe some light sides, but the food is something you could get better down the street at a different restaurant. read more

Oh my gosh! Had a girls morning brunch planned at another business close to here but they lost our reservation and the wait time was long so we strolled down to Mullers and I am so glad we did! Cider mimosas were on point. I did a mimosa flight which had cran raspberry, pineapple, classic orange and I think a mango one (was the flavor of the day.). We ordered 2 breakfast pizzas and a few breakfast paninis to share. Both were SO good. The breakfast pizza had the perfect amount of eggs, cheese and bacon on a perfectly crisp, thinner crust. The panini was my personal favorite. Scrambled egg, cheese, bacon, roasted red peppers and GARLIC AIOLI. Game changer! We also had a bowl of fresh fruit with the panini (strawberries and bananas on the day we went, not sure if it changes.) Social distancing and masks were enforced. I would advise to have patience if you decide to visit (as with any establishment these days!!) there was one guy waiting the tables, crafting the cocktails and bringing the food out. Definitely kept thanking him and left a nice tip as well, but we were there just under 2 hours on a Sunday around 11AM. Mullers is good. The parking is terrible. I would reduce my review to a 3.5 and a lot of that has to do with parking. There is street parking and a small little parking lot but a lot of the spots are reserved for other businesses. I've had the pizza and some appetizers and I have no complaints. The food is steady and good. They have a decent amount of cider options. I ordered something similar to a frozen bomb pop [it was even blue!] Last time and I was there and it was delicious. Trivia is held on Wednesday nights. It's small inside. Some bar seating, a few tables, very limited outside seating and a few high tops. I came here last Thursday for a work happy hour, and it's a super cool space. It's a good size for a bar, a bit cozy and decorated really uniquely. I don't really drink cider all that often so I was pleasantly surprised with the one that I ordered because I really liked it. I ordered a cider called the Harvest Moon: Double Vision, and each draft drink is given in a cider glass which is like a bigger version of wine glass. The staff were really nice and struck up several conversations with our group. They also have multiple bottles and drafts of cider from all over the world. If you're trying not to spend an arm and a leg, this may not be the place for you. The cheapest draft is like $8, and that is why I had to give them 4 instead of 5 stars. It boils down to my reluctance to overspend. I didn't order food, but some of my co-workers did and they said it was really good, just pricey. (It's like sandwiches. There were many options - something for everyone. Staff readily answered questions we had about all the options. The menu noted that It would be drizzled with chocolate - which was just general chocolate syrup and really wasn't necessary - so I would skip that. Loved this place! My mom had the Bellini, and I had the Passionfruit Cider Mimosa. Both were wonderful! I wish we had actually stayed longer so I could try some of the ciders on tap. We also tried the pretzel flight. My favorite was the Everything Bagel with the Cream Cheese Spread, but they were all delicious. They were also clearly hot and fresh when they were brought out. Service was a little slow, but there were literally only two people who were working there that night. This time we grabbed two spots at the bar which was great for interacting with the super friendly and helpful staff. We ordered a flight after some coaching from the bartender ($14 for 4 samples) - overall they ranged from very good to "I wouldn't order that again". That is why flights are a fine idea. With our Groupon we ordered some food and this is where the experience was disappointing because the portions were very small for the price (even with the coupon!). $17 for the 3 meat plate was a very poor value given the skimpy portions. And $10 for three mini- sandwiches was also overpriced. The food itself was tasty but they need to reconsider their pricing scheme. The best item was the bacon/maple kettle corn - we would come back for that alone. So the 4 stars were for the friendly vibe, the cider and the kettle corn. I gotta start by saying, I love this place. It's essentially a cider bar, which Rochester definitely lacks. They have a stellar selection of ciders on tap, that range from dry to sweet, and they also carry a wide selection of bottled ciders. Not only do they carry popular ciders like Angry Orchard, but they also have local favorites like Blue Toad. The atmosphere is super casual. Kind of a smaller venue, it's great for a friends night out, or date night! They even have board games, which just adds to the fun times. My only downside is that once the sun goes down, it's a little dark in there, but if that's the only issue, they're doing something right.
