    Steak & Eggs Burrito

What a great place to get brunch and delicious drinks! Located a mile or two from the Auditorium Theater in Rochester, this was a good stop before a show. While they don't seem to make their own cider, they have about 25 taps of cider from various places (most of which are local). They also have beer, cocktail and non-alcoholic options as well. I was most impressed with how extensive their brunch menu was for such a small place. They have a variety of specialized waffles, breakfast sandwiches and burritos, and other breakfast faves. I opted for a simple breakfast sandwiches that had bacon, egg, cheese, hash browns and garlic aioli. My mom had the steak burrito, which was huge! We also split a cider flight and our waiter was great at giving suggestions. There were only 1 or two waiters, but they were quick and efficient with getting orders and food/drinks out. We were in and out pretty quick! It's a pretty small place, so I recommend getting there early for a seat. We are looking forward to coming back

Recently visited when my husband and I were out for our 17th wedding anniversary. Great selection of beverages. We were here after lunch and did not get a chance to try the food. Parking can be tough during the busy hours, but can definitely can find a spot if you try a couple laps around the block. Love the lavender cider. A must try.

Stopped by the Mullers Cider house with a friend the other night to catch up and celebrate the year. The location is super easy to find and there's is a decent amount of street parking. The place itself wasn't that busy on Thursday but I can see it being a busy on a weekends. The staff was very nice and easy to deal with. The menus are all virtual so it's super easy to pick out what you want via a phone. My friend and I each got a cider flight and were both super happy with our choices. We also got a dip flight which came with a buffalo chicken dip, guacamole, and a sour cream based dip. The chips were good and sturdy. Overall very good appetizers. We also got the chicken pesto pizza which was great! Overall super happy with our visit and will stop by again!

Brunch was excellent. 5 stars, hands down. I'm very particular about my food experience and from start to finish, Ken gave us the royal treatment. Everything from the pizza, breakfast sandwich, waffle flight and mimosa flights were remarkable. Could not have asked for a better time!

Came here with a group on a Friday night and had seating immediately. Service was excellent here. Tried two different flights (I think that's the best bet given how many cider options there are). There is a lot of food/drink options too. Among those we tried (8 different ones), I think my least favorite was the cherry but my favorite was by far the guava cider - so fragrant and delicious. The flights come in plastic cups but after you're done with the tasting and settle on a flavor, it comes in a regular glass. They also have some really delicious sounding options including a cider slushy, cocktails, and growlers - maybe someday! Will definitely want to come back.

The huge variety of ciders and cider mixed drinks was what initially made me super interested in stopping by. I loved the variety of ciders available and they have fun drinks like cider slushies, cider mimosas, etc. We went on a Friday evening. It wasn't too crowded and we were immediately seated. We tried one of the ciders and the cider slushies. Both were great! I thought the cider slushies were really fun. We decided to split a pizza, and chose the Mullers Hot. This pizza took over 45 minutes to come out. I thought that was crazy! A bunch of people who ordered appetizers who sat after us got served before us so next time, we probably are going to go that route. The $18 pizza was not worth it, it was very greasy, the chicken was not crispy, and it just took waaaaay too long to come out. The service was also okay, but there were only two of them working in the front so I understand. I probably would come again, but just for the ciders and an appetizer. The entree food just does not seem worth it for the price/wait.

Definitely recommend. They have a huge selection of ciders (24 on tap, sometimes more by the can) and their food is pretty stellar. They have a rotating specialty popcorn which is fun to try. They make cider slushies! And they have some games if your into that. It's a win win win to me. If you like cider this is a must check out.

The server is an awesome guy because he got us the best cranmango cider!!! We can't stop drinking them because it tastes so good! The tables are 6 to 10 feet distance from each other. They use QR code for us to look at menu. It is a great idea and reducing touching & cleaning the menu every time!!! The food was so delicious!!! I would definitely come back for brunch because it's perfect to start the day on Sunday

This was a date night for us with Taco Tuesday. Atmosphere was very chill. Love the wide selection in draft ciders. I went with the Pumpkin spice cider and my husband went with the Cider donut cider. Both were delicious. We ordered the nachos, Buffalo wing dip, adobo mushroom taco and pulled pork taco off their Taco Tuesday menu. The tacos and food were nothing to write home about and at $4 or $5 a piece, you can get better at other restaurants in the area that do Taco Tuesday. Nachos also came out a bit burnt. But cheers to their wonderful service, great drinks and nice atmosphere! Would be curious to try their other special days like wine night.

Great place to meet up with some friends and try a bunch of ciders! They have ciders from all across NY, as well as some surrounding states. They cycle their ciders pretty often, so there are always new ones to try each week. They have taco Tuesdays and some trivia nights. Tacos are excellent, as well as some of their other food items.

I would give this a 3.5. Came to the restaurant expecting outdoor seating. They do not have outdoor seating, should update to reflect amenities of establishment. The waiter was very nice, we seated ourselves. Waiter came around 6 minutes later, drinks came, however we waited 30-45 minutes for food, we ended up getting the pizza (entree) before our pretzel (appetizer). He did not check on our table during our visit. The wait was a bit too long for my taste, I ended up drinking a whole drink on an empty stomach. I had to get another round of the wine slushy, would definitely recommend that drink or getting a flight to try to various drinks.

Our table got free shots because one member of the party was celebrating her birthday at Easy Sailor (she also received leis around her neck). Cons: Expensive. Small portions. Food is OK, but not worth the cost. Drinks are VERY expensive. The vegan appetizers are coconut sticky rice, sesame garlic vegetables, and kung pao cucumbers. There is one vegan entrée: Spamfu fried rice. The coconut sticky rice was decent, but not filling. And it's hard to eat it without making a big mess, because they foolishly serve it to you in a small, overstuffed dish with no plate under it. So when you dig into the ball of rice with your fork, you end up dislodging bits of it all over the table. They really need to figure out a better way to serve it. The sesame garlic vegetables were quite good (better than the rice), but also not filling. My wife had the Spamfu, which was a surprisingly small portion given that it's billed as an entrée. The vegan bits of "Spam" were cubes of marinated tofu, and there wasn't much of it. Given that tofu and rice are both cheap, the cost of that dish was pretty outrageous. And speaking of outrageous costs, the fancy drinks were priced astronomically high. The menu is written in a small font and is hard to read, especially given the dim lighting in the restaurant. I had to use my iPhone to take pictures of it, so I could magnify the photos on my screen. The water carafes are impractical. They have very long, thin necks, which means you can't put ice in them -- and they tend to block your view of other people sitting at the table. They don't hold much water, so you have to keep asking the server to refill them. And the water glasses are too small. The restaurant really needs to get bigger (but squatter) carafes that hold ice, and they need better water glasses. If you're not especially hungry and money is no object, then maybe Easy Sailor is right for you. Otherwise, I'd skip it.

If you aren't a Tiki connoisseur you should still check it out for their unique take at South Asian and East Asian cuisine. The drinks are stellar. Very refreshing and smooth. Gotta remind yourself to go easy on them or you might find yourself very drunk very soon. The food is good. I wish some of the dishes came with the option to have a side of rice instead of ordering it separately. The mood, aesthetic and vibes hit you right including the decor and lighting. Take a moment to look around and above you to appreciate the art and craft mounted on the walls. Even the wallpapers contribute to the Tiki vibe. It's well done. Sean took care of us the whole time we were there. He is so warm, welcoming, patient and ready to give you suggestions from the menu based on what you need. Importantly Sean is attentive and makes sure your specific needs are taken care of. As for Drinks, Mai Tai- 4/5 It was a pretty well balanced Mai Tai. It is a strong smooth drink. Sherrykiller- 4/5 I liked the balance of flavors and how the sours managed to hold their own in this drink. Boomslang Fang- 4.5/5 Another smooth yummy drink. The flavors complement each other. Boozy Shipless- 4/5 Well presented. Tropical flavors through and through which I loved. I was not a fan of the garnish on top at first but it grew on me eventually. Now the food, We started with Sesame Garlic Brussels sprouts. 4/5 for that dish. Beautiful flavor. Well roasted sprouts. Coconut Sticky Rice- 5/5 Perfect rice. Well made. Well presented. The salty and the sweet flavors have wonderful chemistry. The rice was the right amount of fluffy and soft. Mandarin Tea Chicken- 4/5 Very yummy. Chicken was wonderful. I wish it came with rice and had more lean white meat as it seemed that it had more fatty dark meat. Jaffna Shrimp Curry- 4/5 Wonderful dish. The shrimp was well made. Perfectly cooked. The lentils could be more softer. The sauce was beautiful and combined all aspects of this dish perfectly. I'm not sure what leaves they used for garnish. I hoped to see curry leaves in there given the South Asian roots of this dish but alas they weren't there. Nonetheless it was a wonderful meal.

This is the best for folks who like to bring their pups everywhere and I wish I had known sooner. I also heard they have a rockin' weeknight karaoke, and I know my partner and I will be hitting that up at some point in the near future. This is your standard Monroe Ave dive (not the diviest there is but divey nevertheless) and it fits in great with the rest of the Monroe scene. I went with a raspberry vodka soda and it was perfectly strong, made by a super friendly bartender who was attentive to everyone seated. Lola's had a great run, and the well known corner real estate on Monroe Ave ( a major conduit to downtown Rochester) has had several past lives. Today's reincarnation is that of Turcotts. Turcotts belong to the same family of tap houses as Oxfords, Magpie's, Murphy's law, and Brass (check out the Yelp reviews). Bye bye to craft martinis and burlesque nights with the scantily dressed and goth-ish lady staff. Enter stage left: mixologists with that gritty-Monroe Ave-Dude! Where have you been my whole life-being. Instant liquid compadre and confidant. Maybe because of the heavy pours, but I'm sticking to my stance of good people good drinks. Prove me wrong. And now a brief history... This multigenerational-"family"-owned network of bars lost a dear and close "family" member when the longtime manager of Oxford's passed away. As an homage to this veteran bar manager the owners approached his family and asked if they could honor the fallen by renaming Lola's after him....or more exactly his family name: Turncott! Hence, Turcotts. Cheers to this! The physical layout of this watering hole has always been a challenge. Not only for the staff but for the patrons as well. It's narrow and doesn't accommodate groups greater than two. So if you're on date night or rocking lower Monroe Ave solo; then be sure give Turcotts some play. The makeover this establishment received is a huge upgrade. Goodbye great dive bar and hello jump off spot. Generous accents of red leather trim with matte black wood trip gives the place a good attempt at being not divvy- almost reminiscent of the British turncoats!...A good checkpoint on any Monroe Ave adventure. The drinks at Turncotts are definitely on par with the neighborhood. Depending on your relationship with the mixologist behind the bar, you're gonna have that off menu specialty or you're ordering one of the staples on the cocktail menu. You'll get a good drink with any choice. Don't look for the craft beverage on tap, as they offer little that's not bottled. Bottom line: tip your bartender and enjoy life. You're either gonna kick off at Turncotts or splashdown here. That's what makes the patron mix oh so good. If you hit the magic hours between 10 and midnight, you'll definitely have a story to tell at the water cooler. Overall: great homage to a fallen friend. Decent atmosphere with decent drinks. Either we start here or end here... Either way: Tip your bartender and party on Wayne.
