So many blueberries to pick!!! we each got a plastic bag lined bucket and picked away through endless rows. (There is a separate parking area right near the picking area if you'd rather drive than walk over from the main lot) There are plenty of indoor and outdoor tables to hang out after with food and drinks! There is a tented area and some tables have umbrellas while others don't. For ordering food and drinks they have a beeper system so you know when your stuff is ready! I particularly enjoyed the chicken quesadillas. The old bay fries were a bit too salty for my taste and we found that the seasoning wasn't evenly distributed in tbe fries so some bites were bland while others were real salty. So it was a cool fall night, but we had reservations with some friends to go to Blue Barn, and a bonus, Waffles R Wilds food truck was going to be there too (also a fav)! We ordered some flights and appetizers from blue barn and they were super good with our chicken and waffles After the flights and food we were able to relax a bit in the big tent out back and enjoy time with our friends. Great atmosphere and really decent food. What kicked it out of the park was finishing off with Apple cobbler and ice cream. A must go for sure. read more

I wanted to like this place more but a lot of stuff didn't work for me. I like hard cider. I like brunch. We went for brunch. First the set up is weird. The dining hall seems like a converted pole barn. They seat you at one end and the register to order is at the far other end. When you're seated the instructions on how to get food and drink are rifled off to you. Ok, so go order food, then get drinks and then the pager will tell you when your food is ready. Ordered food . Go to the bar for cider. Get a flight and my wife a drink. Except then you realize you have to balance your flight board all the way back to your seat without spilling hopefully. I was never a waiter but I made it. Then the pager goes off and you realize the same thing. If you split something you need 3 hands. Luckily someone helped me back to the table with food as there were not trays to put it on. Now for the food itself. The fried chicken Benedict was missing something in the hollandaise. It was bland . I would have also like to seen something else on the dish to make it complex. Here's egg, chicken, hollandaise, English muffin. No arugula or peppers or anything. One piece of chicken tasted more seasoned than the other. Also the food came out really quickly so I'm not sure how that happened. The French toast needing more Frenching. It was barely dipped in egg wash and no crunch to be had . The Apple butter and whipped cream were fine. The BLT had ample bacon and it's hard to mess up a BLT Come here for brunch to satisfy the state's requirements that you eat something to get to the ciders. There's also not a lot of brunch options open during Covid especially on the west side so if you live nearby here's a place you can get out of the house for a bit. read more

Wanted to get out of the house for brunch. This was my first time ever being here the buildings are stunning. I wasn't expecting the fact that we had to wait in line to order food and drinks I thought it would be more like a restaurant and we would be served. They are doing well keeping the table socially distanced during these weird times. All staff members were wearing masks. I got the chicken and waffles which was pretty good. I was not a huge fan of the bacon it was extremely fatty. I suggest asking for maple syrup for the meal because mine did not come with it. My husband got the classic breakfast plate. His eggs weren't really seasoned well at all. The apple butter was very tasty. He also did not like his bacon. We shared a flight and really enjoyed the ciders. I love this place for the cider. The food can best be described as snacks more than anything. They have a cider flight option which is great. And you can also purchase both growlers and grumblers to take home. I've gone to several book club meetings there, hosted by Greece Library-. Also tried a few of their small bite appetizers and I was impressed. Their loaded fries were to die for! The mac and cheese could use more flavor and the pretzel bites had no salt could tell they were frozen but the cheese dip was good. Location can get a bit crowded though managed to get lucky finding a parking space and table. Good selection on menu at concession stand and reasonable prices for store products. Some misses were that prices for apples seem on the higher end. Also be sure to bring a car, as visitors aren't allowed to walk from the barn to the apple orchards (one worker made a fuss about it claiming safety reason). Stopped into Blue Barn Cidery this afternoon. It's right down the road from our house so it was only a matter of time.. Very large open space. Long bar, which is nice. Cool experience overall. Came here for the grand opening to check things out and have some cold drinks. We didn't have a issue finding a parking spot, the pouch looked great with pumpkins and other autumn decorations. Walking in I was surprised at how spacious this place is, directly inside you are greeted with merchandise for sell and some friendly greeters. The bathrooms are right in front too, loved the farm style faucets! Walking into the larger room through the cool barn doors on rails you enter into the main room... we directly went to the tasting bar. Went with a flight, choose four from their 15 options... not including root beer for $6. I'm not much of a cider drinker, I do enjoy a glass here and there... I was surprised at how good the 1911 original cider was. Light, crisp and flavorful. The 1911 cider donut was interesting, it really tasted like a donut... a bit to sweet for me. I loved that they also had beers on draft from Empire Brewery. The Skinny Atlas Light, was a great start...ice cold and very light.... went down easy. Next I tried the White Afro.... i was very disappointed..lavender was to strong and took over the entire beer, it tasted like soap or laundry detergent...awful. Thankfully the SloMo IPA made up for it, this was amazing .A crisp dry finish,light citrus flavor. How a beer a should taste. Ended up ordering another one of these... Took our beers outside, they have a bunch of picnic tables and Adirondack chairs to relax in. There is also a few games to have fun and play. I tried the donut, it wasn't the best. Very bland. I never knew how close this place was to my house and now I feel like I have to go every week because I missed out! The main area is so spacious and you get to sit yourself and there is plenty of room for everyone. You order everything at the bar and either bring the drinks with you or grab you food at the kitchen door. I have tried the nachoes and The Giant pretzle. Both were amazing. I have tried several ciders and all were delicious but my absolute favorite was the Harvest Mule cocktail. It was fresh and crisp and amazing! Very pretty place. The website says they are dog friendly. I came with some friends and a small dog today and as soon as we walk in the door they tell you that dogs are not allowed inside. They're also very rude about it. I'm not sure how that is considered to be dog friendly. They just lost a few hundred dollars of business today. Just purchased a Blueberry Lemon Pound Cake as apart of the Blueberry Festival for 2022. I was very disappointed in the pound cake. It was flatter than expected and a little dry even though it had a lot of blueberries in the cake, the icing had a tart lemon flavor and was not overly sweet which was good. I went to Blue Barn Cidery after work with some coworkers and really enjoyed it. I loved what they've done with the space, both inside and outside. The pretzel sticks were amazingly warm and soft, just as they should be. The Apple cider donuts were also delicious. I don't drink, so I appreciated the selection of food they had. I would have liked to have tried more from their menu! If I was there for dinner, I would have also definitely tried a donut sundae. That outside tent with desserts is an excellent idea! We have been going to blue barn for over 2 years now and it is one of our favorite places as well as somewhere we take out of town guests. Due to covid, you have to buy food with your drinks, but we feel the prices have gone up way too much. What used to be a family run business now feels like a corporation. They have been adding things like brunch and reservations for seating, but honestly we don't like that! We liked bow blue barn used to be laid back, the owners were typically there, and we miss being able to sit up at the bar.
