Sorry for late to party! Went there in June for drinks. Sweet place! Rad. Im admiring their clothes & hats (I wanted one hat from there, lol). Anyway, staff is really cool. Menu is ready on table so we looked at. The place itself is clean! Staff is really giving a lot of attentions to customers. Thats truly service! We got our drinks & merry on our date. We were renting a vacation house nearby and stopped by to try some cider because the different varieties looked so interesting! We each had a flight, which includes 6 generous tasting portions for just $10 which is a great deal! I enjoyed all of the flavors I tried, and in chatting with the owner, learned they truly make these in very small batches, and some of the flavors, like the cucumber one, have been in development for years as they've worked to get it right. For the pepper infused cider, they grill the chiles themselves. We even left with some local restaurant recommendations. Great cider, super-friendly people! They're about to start canning some cider which is exciting! For now though it is just to drink there or take home in growlers. read more

My husband and I were at a brewery around here, so we stopped here to get some cider for me. They have lots of options, and a growler is like $20. We didn't realize they had outdoor seating, so we just picked some up. If we go again, I'd sit down and try a flight so I can try a few different ones. I got Play That Funky Music White Peach, or some other cute name like that. It was good, but it really didn't taste at all like peach to me. It was better than any cider I'd get at the grocery store though. But a growler was a lot for me, so it took me awhile to drink it. A crowler or something would be a better size for me. My aunt and I were in here on Sunday and had the best time hanging out with Annie and tasting the cider!! Everything we tasted was very good BUT there were some very unique flavors that we did not try!! It was really just us in there during the time were were there since there was a Bills game on and we didn't mind that at all! Annie was friendly, fun knowledgeable about the cider and she was entertaining! We are going to try to get back in there before I head back home to Southern California next weekend! read more

Really interesting flavors like cherry and their original stump blower flavor that got it all started. The owners are dad and son operated and I wish them much success in their craft. Really cool place! Their Cider Flight is $10 for 6 tasting glasses. Their cider is really good! Owner is very friendly and staff is kind and knowledgeable as well. I found out about this place because my friend's super party was here. The place itself is an open space and it's a good spot to hand out with your friends and try some great cider. I don't really drink cider often but I tried a couple different ciders when I went and they were great. They weren't too sweet (which is not for me) and each flavor offered something different. Would definitely come back with some friends for more good cider! read more

This place is so super fun!!! We were driving by on a mini road trip and saw the sign out and pulled in, but little did we know- it was their birthday! The birthday festivities included a band, a tie dye t-shirt station and cupcake trees. There was a food booth too but we didn't partake. Let's talk about the people- the Old Stump Blower owners were behind the bar and they we the absolute nicest people you could meet. They explained the flight and the festivities. My favorite ciders on the board were the rhubarb infused Rhu-hah Got You in Check which was light and crisp with just a hint of the bitter rhubarb. We also liked The Matcha Man Randy Savage- which brought me back to my childhood days of watching WWF (before the F became an E). I also liked the Little Lakes, both the Randy and Little Lakes were light and crisp without the heavy sweetness that can come with cider. There were heavy ciders too, so there is a good variety. The final awesome thing we discovered here was a game called Crystal Tiger Dice, which is literally the easiest and most fun bar game ever. Look it up because I don't want to ruin the surprise, but we got two sets. There's absolutely a food day trip to be had in Lakeville/ Livonia and OSB should be a delightful stop! read more

Stopped here with a friend after an unusually warm Ocotober hike yesterday in Castile, and it was the perfect place to stop. We each got a flight (six sample-size ciders), and while there were no bad options, we both agreed that the Gangsta's Pearadise was our favorite, although the Cherry Cherry Why Ya Buggin was a close second for me. Seeing as the flight was so good, we stayed for a pint or two as well. The ciders are much better than what you'll typically find in the story, especially if you like more than just apples in your cider. Looking at some of the previous reviewers' photos, it appears that the flavors rotate significantly, and the Jazzy Jeff flavor was so new that it wasn't on Uptappd yet. Although I live too far away to come back for all the new flavors, this could be a great reason to come back if you are local. There's plenty of outdoor or open-air seating, and a cycling group stopped by for cider while we were there as well. It's also a dog-friendly atmosphere; one of the bartenders had her dog there, and the dog was free to roam as she pleased. About the only downside was that their printer has been having a rough week, and consequently the menus were a bit tough to read in places. But you can't go wrong by just asking for a flight of whatever your bartender would recommend. read more

This place made a believer out of me! I don't typically like cider, it's too sweet for me. I won't even go to cider breweries, but I was with a group that came and I'm happy we did. This place's ciders were not sweet and were packed with layers of complex flavor! I was so excited to learn there are ciders I actually like. We got to taste their cider during German Festival at Genesee village and museum. This is worth making trip for. They have some great tasting ciders. Surprisingly, their hoppy cider isn't hoppy at all. They have good outside seating which is wonderful as you can take a peak at the lake and stare at beautiful tall trees at the same time.
