From the moment we pulled up to Song Hill Winery we felt welcomed. The owners father greeted us in the parking lot and asked if we have ever been there and where we would like to sit. We chose the bar. He proceeded to tell us about the winery and the history of it. My husband and I both loved the fact that this used to be an old horse farm. The horses have even raced in Saratoga. The wine maker Conor talked with us not only about the wine, but also about collecting mushrooms and finding them in the area. We are dry wine drinkers, so this was the place for us. If you love Chardonnay definitely try theirs! I think it was my favorite, seconded by the dry stilled diamond. This was surprising since typically diamond wines have a tendency to be super sweet. This was an even balanced wine which ended on the semi-dry spectrum. We loved our experience so much we will definitely be back. Bonus, that it's almost in our back yard! The only thing is they are only open on Saturday from 11 AM- 5 PM.

Chardonnay-glazed local mushrooms on a bed of micro greens and bok choy...DELICIOUS!

The wine and service is always wonderful. Love the ambiance of the horse barn. I recommend doing the food and wine pairing.

We were able to attend a virtual walkthrough of the venue and ask questions with Belinda through Zoom. Along the way, Belinda and Tammy, our day of coordinator, answered lots of questions in emails. They were both very knowledgeable about all the options available and vendors in the area. It wasn't until the day before the wedding at our rehearsal that we were able to really see the venue in person and meet Tammy due to living out of the area. On the day of, Tammy helped to make sure the event ran smoothly with all of our vendors. All of the staff was extremely helpful and kind. Our guests were so impressed by the venue and especially the view out to the vineyard. Our guests enjoyed hanging out on the patio in the back overlooking the vineyard. Every single detail was set up how we wanted it. Tammy made sure our day went smoothly without us having to worry about anything. We also worked with Chapels Catering for food. We received so many complements on our food. Prior to the event, we had worked with Chapels over FaceTime and emails. They were wonderful with accommodating my allergies and allergies of our guests. We loved having Casa Larga as our venue and the team was wonderful to work with!

It also has an outside deck which our guests really enjoyed, I think everyone attending took a photo on the deck with the beautiful vineyard/sunset in the background! We were very happy with the food- the tasting was incredible with huge portions - there are a lot of options and all of the sauces were amazing! We both had the steak and it was cooked just right! There are a ton of wine options and it was tough making a choice because we liked so many of them. The prices were reasonable for the venue and we did open bar which was reasonable as well. Although we were switched from our original event planner to another, they were both very accommodating and made the night go smoothly.

An absolute highlight of my trip to the Fingerlakes!…read more We were a large bachelorette party looking for an afternoon at a winery. This place was chosen for both the proximity to our Air BnB and also because it was more affordable then some of the other vineyards in the area. I will say with certainty that this place was the best part of our trip! The vineyard has a small but suitable selection of wines to taste - you can see my photo for the menu available at the time. Reservations are not taken on the weekends, but we were able to walk in with relatively no crowds. However, by the time we left, it was packed! All of us opted for a flight - which, for the prince, how could you go wrong? The staff was incredibly pleasant and attentive, and they TRULY knew their products. They weren't afraid to say, "I don't think you'll like this [based on your tastes], try this instead." In addition, they had a selection of local cheesed and meats for purchase, so we were able to have a wonderful charcuterie with our wines. After purchasing, we sat on their deck and simply enjoyed being outside with the scenic view. Truly, it looked like it was taken out of a movie - I felt like I was looking at a scenic photo in a dentist office or something, but in the best way! We are so proud to support a local business like this. If I'm ever in the area, I will be sure to add this vineyard to my stops!

They have multiple different wineries/breweries on the property, something for everyone. High scale drier wines, "redneck" barn with sweet wine & sangria, homemade sodas, brewery, slushy spot, coffee & lattes, literally everything. They have a small food area with great bites. The soft pretzel hits the spot after a day of drinking, and the sausage was amazing too. Poor limp Richard white wine, singria, and apple cider slushy were my favorite. The staff was so great. Everyone was helpful and kind. Staff even took our song suggestions so we could dance, and other guests joined along with us. We had an epic time. I can't say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be making another stop at this place when we are back in town

They had an oatmeal stout that was really good and then a rootbeer stout that was one of the worst beers I've had. They had a decent cab sav and then 10 super sweet wines. It's fun, there's a lot to try, but it's really tailored to those who like sweet wines. Bottom line -- wine is subjective and this place is not for me.
