The shops are open for business and it is a wonderful way to experience downtown Canadaigua and sample over a dozen Finger Lakes wines. Downtown is adorable and chocked full of wonderful shops and restaurants restaurants: art galleries, accessories, clothing, florists, toy stores...it was so much fun. I wanted it buy things in nearly every place we went. This is a great way to experience the area. Highly recommended as an excursion from Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse or anywhere else. It was a little spicy, which I enjoyed. My husband had the pan seared sea bass finished with a mango jalapeño chutney. He said his was pretty good, but felt it could have been cooked a little more. For food, the only complaint I would have is that when they set out the coffee they only Provided flavored creamer. No milk, no regular cream. I had to ask for cream directly and they did actually bring some out without any issues.

We were able to attend a virtual walkthrough of the venue and ask questions with Belinda through Zoom. Along the way, Belinda and Tammy, our day of coordinator, answered lots of questions in emails. They were both very knowledgeable about all the options available and vendors in the area. It wasn't until the day before the wedding at our rehearsal that we were able to really see the venue in person and meet Tammy due to living out of the area. On the day of, Tammy helped to make sure the event ran smoothly with all of our vendors. All of the staff was extremely helpful and kind. Our guests were so impressed by the venue and especially the view out to the vineyard. Our guests enjoyed hanging out on the patio in the back overlooking the vineyard. Every single detail was set up how we wanted it. Tammy made sure our day went smoothly without us having to worry about anything. We also worked with Chapels Catering for food. We received so many complements on our food. Prior to the event, we had worked with Chapels over FaceTime and emails. They were wonderful with accommodating my allergies and allergies of our guests. We loved having Casa Larga as our venue and the team was wonderful to work with!

This place was chosen for both the proximity to our Air BnB and also because it was more affordable then some of the other vineyards in the area. I will say with certainty that this place was the best part of our trip! The vineyard has a small but suitable selection of wines to taste - you can see my photo for the menu available at the time. Reservations are not taken on the weekends, but we were able to walk in with relatively no crowds. However, by the time we left, it was packed! All of us opted for a flight - which, for the prince, how could you go wrong? The staff was incredibly pleasant and attentive, and they TRULY knew their products. They weren't afraid to say, "I don't think you'll like this [based on your tastes], try this instead." In addition, they had a selection of local cheesed and meats for purchase, so we were able to have a wonderful charcuterie with our wines. After purchasing, we sat on their deck and simply enjoyed being outside with the scenic view. Truly, it looked like it was taken out of a movie - I felt like I was looking at a scenic photo in a dentist office or something, but in the best way!
