I came here for Ice Wine tour!! It isn't as big as they usually have it, but we still enjoyed ourselves. Truthfully it is quite enjoyable with less people to navigate around, we even got to tour the cellar and how they make the wine. Love the whole experience and atmosphere. I do not love the weather though! Lol

Went to a cute holiday market here this past weekend. Was super cute and it was a really pretty property with plenty of parking.

We just stopped for a quick wine tasting and picked up a few bottles today, Sunday at noon. Staff was very friendly engaging and had a sense of humor. They have expanded since my last visit for an indoor dining area and there's a lovely deck outside. We understand on Thursdays. They have slushy tasting outside and live music. They have a lovely gift area as well.

While I think it is really cool that this brewery is right in Fairport, I don't think their wine is anything special. I did their Riesling tasting, which was three different kinds, and while it was fine, I've definitely had better. I would go here again, but it's definitely not my favorite winery.

Casa Larga Vineyards was a beautiful place to have my sisters Bridal Shower in June. The outdoor patio offers a breathtaking view of the vineyard. Belinda was an incredible help at helping me organize everything. The prices were fair, the food was delicious, and the wine... ::chef's kiss::

Beautiful deck with a gorgeous view of the vineyards.

I can't say enough about how amazing Casa Larga is. They were the venue for my bridal shower and (rescheduled) wedding reception. The team was amazing to work with (Belinda and Tammy were our main points of contact), especially given all of the changes in mandates surrounding COVID. I received so many compliments from our guests on the beauty of the venue and everything ran very smoothly. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wedding venue or an event space for their next function.

So this is our 2nd visit here and on this day, they actually had a bridal show in one of their rooms. But they place is very beautiful and they had an area for tasting wine as well as some brews. We actually chose to taste wine paired with Chocolate. That was an awesome experience. They have a wide variety to choose from and they all were very good. So good that we bought 2 bottles. This place is great and so are the employees. They are very knowledgeable and helpful! We will be back when we run out.

The tasting rack. Cute.

Has the absolute tastiest lilac wine. Came to do a tasting with some out-of-towners, and I was impressed with the friendliness of the service and sitting area. We did our flights out on the patio, which had metal lawn furniture and umbrellas, and then got a glass each (they do not sell you a bottle to consume onsite) of the lilac wine and split a charcuterie board (which was plenty for 4 people) in the upstairs sitting area. The deck was reserved for a wedding, but the views were lovely, so I imagine sitting out there would be nice.

We visited on a weekend (Summer) to do the tour and tastings. At the time it was just something to do. Around the time we went, their site stated that tours on Saturday were only at 12pm and 4pm, so we got there early enough for the 12pm start and we didn't sign up online - the option is available. You get a tour of the grounds and learned some from how the wines came to be and the story behind the family that owns it - it was interesting. We also went inside (downstairs) and found out why certain wines are in certain barrels. It was a very nice wine history lesson on this venue. After the tour, we got to taste some of the wines and they were very good. The ones I enjoyed the most were Pallido (a Medium Dry Wine), Lilac Hill, White Sangria and then mixed with the Red Sangria (Sweet Wines) and the Fiori-8 (Ice Wine). The latter one, I wanted to buy a bottle, but held off because of the price and I felt the wine would have been finished by me before I left the building - it was that good. The employees were very helpful, especially Dan who went above and beyond to make our visit pleasant as I enjoyed my visit there.

Slushie to go! Frozen very solid so it's great to take home. They have cider and grape without wine too.

I stopped today at my Casa Larga for something other than wine! They carry Cindy's grape pies this time of the year and I had to get one. I also bought the pineapple lime slushie and it was very good. I think I prefer their wine plain myself because the icy slushie was too cold on the teeth! Luckily I always have a bottle of their wine on hand for company. They are an excellent smaller winery. 13-14 years ago my daughter has her wedding f reception there and the venue is gorgeous! Check them out! I'm adding a few pictures of their gifts and other local products they sell'

This is a wonderful wedding venue. It's beautiful. Service was excellent. The flow of traffic from the receiving line to the bar area for the cocktail hour to the dining room went smoothly. The venue is lovely. We liked the view of the vineyards from the patio. The food was great, not just for a wedding but in general. My husband's filet mignon was juicy and perfectly cooked. My salmon was also perfectly cooked, even though the sauce was a little bland. Their wines were good, if not my favorites. If you're planning a wedding, I'd definitely consider this venue. If you're attending a wedding here, you are in for a treat.

It's pretty yummy.

We can't get enough of the Lilac Hill, and I'd count the Cab Merlot among the best red options in the region.

She was so attentive and quick to help if we had questions. We tried the sampler, and others at the table had different brats. Everyone said their meals were great-- the sampler is more than enough for two people, and can certainly be a snack for a group of four. Each of the brats are seasoned so well, but my personal favorite was the andouille-- it was spicy and seasoned to perfection with a crunch when you bite into it. The bread that came with the sample was also great- really crispy and warm! We were also able to try each of the sauces, and the banana pepper mustard and beer mustard are delicious! So much so, we bought a jar of the banana pepper mustard to take home with us. There were plenty of seats inside and outside the restaurant. Definitely would love to come support this place again in the future!

I can't really sit here and say this was a positive or negative experience; it was just kind of odd…read morebut ultimately it delivered what it was supposed to. My cousin chums and I stopped by here on Labor Day after our mini wine tour in need of sustenance aka real food (a quality all of the wineries we went to were severely lacking in). From what I could tell, this is sort of an extension of the Arbor Hill Winery - to access Brew & Brats, we actually ended up walking through what I assume was Arbor Hill's main gift shop/wine tasting area, which sold more in the line of quasi-bougie condiments than actual wine. We briefly considered doing a third winery tasting here but I just didn't like the vibe, so we continued on to the back of the premises where this restaurant/bar was. Perfectly pleasant in there; the main establishment seemed to be centered on a barn-like structure (it almost felt like it had a former life as a ye olde general store, then got cleaned out to be a bar), though we ended up sitting/eating right outside in a little pavilion area with picnic tables (great weather for it). I also used the facilities at one point, which were unique - also a bit barn-like and felt very...temporary storage unit but not in a bad way, if that makes sense. Everything was spacious and clean from my perspective. When in Rome, I think you get brats. There was understandably a Bavarian-themed tinge to this menu, but heavily Americanized. So sauerkraut was a pretty pervasive ingredient, but it also had a lot of mainstream salad and BBQ sides. Interesting for sure. I didn't want to complicate things after multiple wine tastings, so I opted to get the Arbor Hill Sherried Wine Sausage with a side of baked beans. Honestly not bad; the marinating of the sherried wine gave it a nice fruity/sweet tinge. I'm more of a hot dog connoisseur when it comes to my weenies and I'm not a fan of condiments; even if I were though, something this flavorful probably doesn't need to rely on them. And I can always get down with a toasted bun. The beans were just okay; too sweet for my palate. I was expecting something more savory given the bacon, but literally every other ingredient drowns it out. I'd remove the brown sugar - if the sauce is already sherried wine-flavored, you really don't need to double-down. The service was honestly a little strange/awkward. Our waitress was friendly enough and given what we were ordering, it would have been insane if the wait time was more than 10 minutes or so (and it wasn't). We were in and out of there relatively quickly, giving us plenty of time to test drive our Airbnb hot tub. But she was very flustered and agitated throughout our stay there, constantly apologizing for the chaos and wait times, which were nonexistent. Every time she came to our table, it was accompanied by a flurry of, "Sorry, it's just been CRAZY with all of these people," which, given that there were literally two other parties and tons of empty seats just wasn't accurate and made no sense. My assumption is that they had a crazy lunchtime rush or something that she was still processing and/or recovering from, but I really don't know. Regardless, it didn't really detract from the overall meal or anything. The prices were out-and-out fantastic. For a legit entree and sides, casual as they were, $15 or so was a legit deal. This whole Naples area was generally pretty affordable, to its credit. Not really my kind of food in the grand scheme of things, but it was fine for what it was. Hope our waitress got a good night's sleep at least.

The most incredible (and only) speakeasy in the Finger Lakes…read more After hours of driving, we knew we needed a cool spot to go to at night for some delicious wine. Of course, the Finger Lakes are KNOWN for wine so we're just thinking we're making reservations for a wine bar (with "speakeasy" vibes). Which that would've been totally cool with us. After continuous back and forth, changing our reservations 50 million times, adding and taking people out, we finally made it to Vinifera on a Friday night and were super apologetic since we had to make yet another change. The staff was absolutely incredible and accommodating, they made sure our party of 10 would be in the same room/table. The only "downfall" was that we'd have to share the room with another small party. Which was absolutely not a problem and we ended up being BFF'S with them by the end of the night. We met the owner Jim - the most incredible human - and he took us down to the speakeasy (which passes right through a super secretive door in the back of the main room upstairs). Side note - the main room upstairs is a vibe on it's own btw and we would've been absolutely fine and happy there. It's an actual wine store and you can purchase all kind of local wines. Be sure to ask and get all the recommendations you want. Not only did we get to enjoy an incredible time but we got a super cool VIP experience and learned the story and so much history about this place, the concept, the origin and what sparked the idea of creating it. That itself, was a treat. On to the actual speakeasy experience. When you go downstairs (through that fun super cool super secretive door) - you're instantly transported to another era, another time. It's dark, it's velvety, chandeliers, spiderwebs (the aesthetic kind, idk if there were actually any but it fit the vibe in my head), Leonardo Da Vinci, Mona Lisa, candles, curtains. There are two super cool rooms, one to the right (which is where our large party sat at) and one to the left - totally recommended for smaller groups, it's cozy, it's chill, you can interact and share with other guests too. Just by this, I'm wowed. As if this wasn't enough, the drinks were absolutely incredible. I ended up ordering some kind of a smoked drink and they happily substituted the regular old fashioned for mezcal. What a dream. Everyone was happy with their drink orders, some ordered some off the menu things and they happily made them - even though they technically only serve what's on the menu. Wine flights are also available if you're in the wine vibe. Bottom line: we loved this place SO much, we came back 2 night's later for our last night. We sat in the other room and absolutely loved and enjoyed it. I had a lavender drink and it was delish. This place is a GEM and you should absolutely check it out and support it if you're in the area. If you're not, well now you have a place I know you'll love to go to!
