Had high hopes for this spirts bar however it didn't meet the expectations. Greeted with a friendly hello and our waitress was awesome! The wine was okay but the food was not great. The salad was soggy and the dressing was on the side. Red Peppers were mushie and soggy, the steak was ordered medium came med rare which the waitress warned me about. The wings were not crispy or hot. The Caesar salad was also not crisp but the croutons were. Again the waitress was great. I always have a good time watching games here. Recently caught the NBA Finals and the place was busy. I tried the pizza for the first time and really enjoyed it. The girl made it fresh, right in front of me, and then I watched it go into a brick oven. I got pepperoni with extra cheese and it was a little oily, but delicious. I'll get it again. read more

We decided to try this new place for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. It's a box-standard black/gray open space with TVs lining the wall. Could have been a million other places; it really had no personality. We were seated promptly and given menus along with a beer and cocktail menu. There were no prices listed for the beers. The menu was large but the prices were just over the top for the type of place it is. A chopped salad is $18 and 6 wings $9. My husband got a sandwich that was $17 but it did come with fries. I had the Buffalo Egg rolls which were just ok. The bar is large and there is plenty of seating outside but it's just not anything note worthy and it sure isn't budget friendly. read more

We love going to Hooligans Eastside! We always get good service and the food is always good too! The bar area has a great atmosphere with lots of tables and booths to sit at. Loaded fries are always our go to appetizer and we also enjoy the fried cheese wedges as an appetizer too. The boneless wings are always good and they give you quite a generous helping. I had the Buffalo shrimp salad special for a change last night and it was great! This is one of our favorite restaurants to go to and we will definitely be back soon! read more

This is a great place if you love sports. TV's are everywhere. Very clean, Masks are on and the server was very attentive. It. Took a little wait to get our drinks but I could not of enjoyed them any more. They were sending out huge to go orders. Onion Soup made right for a change! It was full of flavor. Pretzel was huge and appeared to be home made! It came with home made cheese sauce. I can not spell it. So very tasty. I oreder my nachos with seasoned beef and the chips on the side. Not a good place for people of color Ordered a pizza waited over an hour and when brought to the table pizza was lukewarm with the apology the whole town of Webster came there for dinner-not and the over only makes so many pizza--if it was cool time our pizza should have been piping hot! When you are sprinkled on with others, service is good. The food is consitently good. We have eaten here a bunch of times over the years. The decor is upscale for a local bar restaurant. They recently changed their menu. I think prices may have increased. At the end of the day this is a bar restaurant. Wraps and sandwiches are pushing 13 or 14 dollars with chips. I can see 10 dollars for a wrap and chips at most. There is a lot of competition in webster for this style of restaurant. Filling station, buntsys, coaches, pub 235, etc. I feel like the prices here are higher than most of the others. The food here is a little better quality than some of those cheaper options but not as good as pub 235. Head to head I think pub 235 is going to win out. Hooligans used to have a lower price which gave it the edge but it's lost that now. The restaurant has a very large bar area with a ton of TVs. There is a large dining room in the bar and a large sperate dining room. The outside seating is nice. They have a large patio with a lot of tables. They started charging a 3.5 percent fee for credit card transactions. I feel like middle of covid is a horrible time to do that. It seems like they are nickle and diming you at the worst possible time. They shouldnt be encouraging people to pay in cash right now. read more

Went here for dinner with some friends & was expecting to have a nice time based on previous experiences, it was anything but that. A young server handed my friend's plate to her completely tilted causing some of her food to fall on the floor. He was completely unapologetic about it and did not offer to give my friend new food to replace what was on the floor. We had to ask another server for new food and ask twice for sides of dipping sauce, which were not the correct ones when we finally received them. Also when we had a natural pause in conversation not even 10 minutes after getting our "food" we were asked if we wanted boxes. Order take out from here for pick up on a Saturday @ 6:20, order was placed about an hour ahead. I showed up a little early hoping it would be ready (615) but I wasn't. I had to wait until about 630 and I don't think it's because my food wasn't ready. Others were always waiting for take out, it seemed the kitchen and front end were not communicating, front end would check on your order when you came in but not again and food wasn't being brought up. Eventually the manager came up, went and checked in all of our orders and brought them out promptly so it appeared that they were just sitting in back. I wouldn't blame this on the front end being busy because all eat in guests were seated immediately so they were not that busy. Now for the food, we ordered the nachos which were a pretty decent serving size. They put them in a pizza box which I think helped keep them from getting soggy. They were good, basic nachos. Cheese was all melted they omitted the olives like asked. Nothing fancy here but solid basic good nachos. I ordered the broccoli Alfredo with a side salad. It was perfect for me cause good ol pregnancy aversions got me staying away from chicken with a mile long pole. I love Alfredo, I wouldn't say I'm Uber picky because I know everyone makes it different and I appreciate that. It was a thicker sauce, not watery like some are but also not super flavor more of a basic try to please a crowd flavor... if that makes sense . I enjoyed it. They also didn't skimp on the broccoli, there was a fair amount in there and it didn't seem to be frozen but fresh. With the side salad I ordered the Cajun ranch and yeah it's Cajun . It's not ranch looking to fool you with a sprinkle of paprika to give it a red look but actually got some heat, which I enjoyed. The pasta also came with a breadstick which was super tasty and a great for sauce dunking. Overall food was good & cost was fair especially fir serving sizes. My daughter and I went on Monday. We sat outside , our server was Brianne. She escorted us to our seats as requested and gave us menus. We asked for drink menus and were told that they are hard to find. She apparently didn't want to bring us one. She eventually said she would try to find one and after an extended time did. She did bring water and eventually our drinks. I thought it strange she delivered silverware and a while later plates. We ordered wings a pizza. After delivering the food we didn't see her again for a very long time. I toyed with calling the front and asking for our waitress. Now I have seen all the other patrons being warned of impending rain, the other wait staff came back various times to their customers multiple time. Not ours... This was the second year in a row I met friends here on the first Friday of March Madness. The place was packed in the middle of the afternoon. Nice. With over 20 TVs this is the place to watch events like this and sports in general. The waitress who was serving our big group did a great job considering what a zoo it was that day. She kept the food and drink coming. I tried a few of the appetizers and they were decent - nothing special for the bar food that it is. I had not been here in years, and the last time I came, we were just at the bar area. My husband and I were trying to figure out a place to go for dinner, so we decided to go here. The restaurant area is separate from the bar, which is nice. We were sat in the corner, so it seemed pretty private even though the dining side was full when we got there. I had the soft pretzel appetizer and a side of macaroni salad. The pretzel was just ok. I was excited about it, but it was just meh, The macaroni salad was good, and seemed like it had chili powder in it or something. It had a little kick to it. My husband got the Prime Rib, which was expensive, and made this meal more expensive than we'd usually spend at a bar food place like this. It was what he wanted though, and he said it was good. I had a couple drinks, and they were both good. I had a rice pudding martini, and it was nice and coconut-y. And I had a rum punch, and it was also good. I wouldn't hesitate to get a drink here again. I wouldn't run back here, but it was good, and we had a really nice waitress. We drink a lot of water, and she brought us a pitcher. Food and service is good. The problem I noticed is that they implemented a $1.30 service fee for the use of credit cards with no notices or anything posted anywhere. This policy of charging for the use of credit cards is stupid. Don't businesses realize cash use is going away. This is part of doing business and should be rolled into the menu price already. Don't be surprised when you see this on the receipt. When the company does there taxes and writes off the expense of credit card fees then I want my refund sent to me. read more

I have LOVED this restaurant for years! The food has been amazing and the service is always fast and great! Unfortunately during my last visit this has changed. Me and my family go here almost every friday, so we did just that and ordered everything we usually do. I was extremely disappointed to find out they changed their recipes to something cheap and gross. We talked to our waitress about it(she was amazing) and she informed us that there was a new manager hired and the entire menu is being changed! i'm very upset because this restaurant has been amazing and me and my family have loved it for years! :( now we are going to have to find another place to replace this one because i will NOT be back. In town for the holidays with the in-laws and was looking for a quick lunch after getting off the airplane ending up at Hooligan's. Great interior well payed out with lots af tv's for the sports enthusiast in the family. Good news is the servers, one bar and one floor were very friendly and worked hard. Bad news is the wait times for service were horrible; way understaffed for a lunch that had 8-10 tables and another 6 a 8 groups at the bar the whole time we were there. Andra's veggie wrap was well made but bland, no surprise to me. My Cuban was loaded and good, just not great. Enjoyed the house made chips but again nothing special, needed a spice or different flavoring. Service may influences my overall rating but I would come back for a ball game. There was only one other table seated in the dining room with us, but our food took almost a hour to come out. To me that is way too long. I ordered french onion soup and a buffalo chicken wrap. The soup was good I would have liked the cheese on top to be cooked a little longer. The wrap itself was good but seemed small to me and only comes with a choice of chips or mac salad. Our waitress was friendly but could have been more attentive. Hooligans has been in Webster now for a number of years. The food and drinks have always been good. Right now I cant get enough of the Hooligans sampler platter, and the garlic parmesan chicken wings. My favorite drink I always get wherever I go is The long island ice tea. If you order this drink you need to tell the when you order it to make it strong. I WAS GLUTENED. The worst words you want to hear if you are gluten-free. Unlike most restaurants in Webster, Hooligans does not have a "real" gf menu. They have a typed up list of items that they think are gluten free. Well, as I discovered, this list is incorrect. Their burgers (without the roll) are NOT gf. I am paying severely now for the next few days for choosing to eat there. If you're gf- don't take the chance! And Hooligans, get with the program. "Meh. I've experienced better" is the perfect description of this place, so 2 stars it is. Mediocre food, awful tap list. Seriously, does anyone at this joint realize that there is beer outside of Bud/Miller/Coors? There were only a couple of choices for the craft beer fan : Victory Hop Devil and Ithaca Flower Power (which they were out of). There was also Sam Adams and the Sam Adams seasonal (Alpine Spring when I was there), which are adequate choices I suppose. The rest of the tap list kind of sounds like this: Bud Bud Select Bud Light Bud Light Lime Bud Platinum Bud Platinum Select Bud Light Select Lime Bud Platinum Super Select Bud Platinum Super Duper Select Ultra XL 3000 XTREME XXX OK, you all know I'm kidding, but virtually every macro and their umpteen lame variations are represented, along with the ever present Shock Tops and Blue Moons. Ugh. Worse, when my girlfriend called to ask about what they have on tap, the girl who answered didn't even know what "craft beer" was. Wow. Now onto the food: barely mediocre. The loaded fries were served on a giant platter, but were spread out into almost a single layer, so the appetizer looked more substantial than it really was. On a positive note, this did mean that one got some topping with every fork full of fries. I ordered the "Inferno Burger". Now, one would think if a place is calling something "Inferno" it would bring the heat. Not so. It is worth noting that my heat tolerance is by no means superhuman, but I do like spicy food to a point. A burger that has pepper jack cheese, spicy mayo, jalapenos, and habanero spice should be hot, correct? Well, this had barely a hint of heat to it, except for the couple of jalapenos scattered over the top of the burger. The "Habanero spice" was MIA apparently. I couldn't detect any, at least. The burger was cooked significantly past medium rare as well. My girlfriend order the Monte Cristo, and it was underwhelming. Others at the table ordered the bacon cheeseburger, the Bayou Burger, and the Buffalo Chicken pizza. They got reactions of "mediocre", "meh", and "it's OK", so I am not alone in my opinion of the food. It was all mediocre, but just that. The bar area was extremely loud.
