Loaded fries & mozzarella wedges

We love the food and casual atmosphere! Nice, homey fresh food-- some "bar food" options, American food options, and also local favorites. The service is always nice and prompt too. Highly recommend!

Salmon salad delicious

Staff is always friendly and attentive. Drinks heavy pour which makes me happy. They never disappoint with their salmon and cheesesteaks. Chill sports bar like vibe but family friendly.

This restaurant is really nice. Clean, new, technology to the max! The servers were great and the food was good. Excellent prices and good vibes. Give them a go!

Wildfired pizza Create Your Own Pizza

Very mediocre food that wasn't cheap! Salad was bagged for sure and the wood fired pizza didn't seem very wood fired. Also we were very rushed by our server, Deb. She came over and asked if we were ready to order when we just sat down. Told her it was our first time there so we're going to take a few minutes to look over the menu and she came over 2 more times within 4 minutes. Super pushy!! Stopped asking for more time and just ordered. There's a lot of other sports bars with ambience and better food to go and watch the game.

Ordered a Cuban panini with fries today, it was really good. Service was prompt and friendly.

Had high hopes for this spirts bar however it didn't meet the expectations. Greeted with a friendly hello and our waitress was awesome! The wine was okay but the food was not great. The salad was soggy and the dressing was on the side. Red Peppers were mushie and soggy, the steak was ordered medium came med rare which the waitress warned me about. The wings were not crispy or hot. The Caesar salad was also not crisp but the croutons were. Again the waitress was great. There were some loud customers that may have been over served or just were flamboyant. Not returning.

Dozen Hot Wings. Hot & Awesome

They have Yuengling Amber...! in a tall one too. This will be good right from the start The bone in Hot Wings were fresh outta the fryer, just the right heat on the wing sauce. The Supreme Pizza was hot and tasty! Mattie is a really fun waitress, great laugh and seems to love her job. Kudos. Food was so good we went back another night and found this amazing tray of Nachos with Ground Beef! Needless to say but the quantity was enough for two. Hot chips, cheese, ground beef, jalapeños and more along with sides of sour cream & non-Texas style salsa (Pace Picante anyone). Chips were crunchy as expected and the Black & Tan was fittin. Thanx you Hooligan!

I always have a good time watching games here. Recently caught the NBA Finals and the place was busy. I tried the pizza for the first time and really enjoyed it. The girl made it fresh, right in front of me, and then I watched it go into a brick oven. I got pepperoni with extra cheese and it was a little oily, but delicious. I'll get it again.

Sean the hostess was so helpful getting us outside seating! Sean our waiter was just wonderful giving us great choices . We had fish fry which was delicious! Also the pizza was so yummy we would definitely come back again. Thank you ! The bathrooms were clean and the atmosphere was so romantic.

This is a great place if you love sports. TV's are everywhere. Very clean, Masks are on and the server was very attentive. It. Took a little wait to get our drinks but I could not of enjoyed them any more. They were sending out huge to go orders. Onion Soup made right for a change! It was full of flavor. Pretzel was huge and appeared to be home made! It came with home made cheese sauce. I can not spell it. So very tasty. I oreder my nachos with seasoned beef and the chips on the side. Sorry again I can not spell it :(. Mexican style. It also came with the cheese sauce. I could not complain. We where there for lunch. Quit at that time. I enjoyed the food and the atmisphere. They have sanitizer stations by bathrooms and entrance. They are following NYS restrictions. I would recommend having lunch!

Blvd Grill - Cesar salad with grilled chicken

Blvd Grill

This is my take on Blvd Grill (a.k.a., "The Boulevard") after having visited just once on Jan 4,…read more2026. My wife and I were looking for some place to go close by on Sunday evening. We thought we'd give Blvd Grill a shot. I would categorize Blvd Grill as a sports bar, as there was a row of TVs above and around the bar showing the games of local interest (Jets and Bills games). My wife and I aren't big sports fans, and we sat at a small casual table along the wall for dinner. The bar area, including high top tables was very busy with people obviously enjoying themselves, but there were plenty of available small dining tables for 2-6 people. TL;DR We were pleasantly surprised. In spite of the casual appearance, the food and drink were excellent. My wife ordered a glass of Riesling, which was semi-dry (I would actually peg right in the middle between dry and sweet) and was very smooth without that slight bite some Rieslings can have. I ordered a Blue Moon on tap. They had a small number of basic and IPA brews available. Not a large, but a reasonable selection. For dinner my wife ordered the Chicken French, which is one of her favorite dishes. She cooks this dish herself frequently, and is quite critical of how this dish is prepared when we go out. In this case, she was very pleased with it. I ordered a pesto cod dish that was on the menu. I found the cod tender and the dish overall very tasty without being overdone in flavor or cooking. As others have mentioned, the food isn't cheap, although on this particular night they were selling wings at $1/ea, but we didn't order wings. The main courses were in the $20-$30 range. Honestly, though, we've eaten at some higher end restaurants recently and Blvd Grill had them beat in terms of food quality in this case. The service was good. Our waitress was a young lady who was courteous and efficient. Maybe the food and service quality vary depending on the day or night, but based on our single experience, we'd definitely visit Blvd Grill again.

Sat at the bar and my bartender was amazing, super welcoming and friendly which always sets the tone. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and while the patty itself could've used a little more flavor, that garlic aioli carried. It was so good. I'd definitely come back.

It was NOT a disappointment. It's crazy I lived in Rochester for 18 1/2 years and never heard of it before and that was my loss. The atmosphere, the energy, the community in this bar was outstanding. They have a great selection of beers on tap. I started with The Kind but when I saw they had Mass Riot from Prison City I quickly moved to that. Didn't think I was going to eat but the food smelled so good I had to order. SO many things looked great on the menu it was so tough to choose. Ended up getting hot Buffalo Wings and the Pot Roast Grilled Cheese. The wings were good. A little sweet which is not my jam for Buffalo Wings but they still were good quality. The Pot Roast Grilled Cheese was absolutely freekin outstanding. Shamrock Jacks is now on my must visit every time I come back to Rochester.

This is the best for folks who like to bring their pups everywhere and I wish I had known sooner. I also heard they have a rockin' weeknight karaoke, and I know my partner and I will be hitting that up at some point in the near future. This is your standard Monroe Ave dive (not the diviest there is but divey nevertheless) and it fits in great with the rest of the Monroe scene. I went with a raspberry vodka soda and it was perfectly strong, made by a super friendly bartender who was attentive to everyone seated. I will for sure be back for drinks with friends when I am in the area (and to try some food!)

Turcotts Taproom got more than a face lift from the days it was Lola's. It got a soul transplant…read more Or maybe a soul merge. Lola's had a great run, and the well known corner real estate on Monroe Ave ( a major conduit to downtown Rochester) has had several past lives. Today's reincarnation is that of Turcotts. Turcotts belong to the same family of tap houses as Oxfords, Magpie's, Murphy's law, and Brass (check out the Yelp reviews). Bye bye to craft martinis and burlesque nights with the scantily dressed and goth-ish lady staff. Enter stage left: mixologists with that gritty-Monroe Ave-Dude! Where have you been my whole life-being. Instant liquid compadre and confidant. Maybe because of the heavy pours, but I'm sticking to my stance of good people good drinks. Prove me wrong. And now a brief history... This multigenerational-"family"-owned network of bars lost a dear and close "family" member when the longtime manager of Oxford's passed away. As an homage to this veteran bar manager the owners approached his family and asked if they could honor the fallen by renaming Lola's after him....or more exactly his family name: Turncott! Hence, Turcotts. Cheers to this! The physical layout of this watering hole has always been a challenge. Not only for the staff but for the patrons as well. It's narrow and doesn't accommodate groups greater than two. So if you're on date night or rocking lower Monroe Ave solo; then be sure give Turcotts some play. The makeover this establishment received is a huge upgrade. Goodbye great dive bar and hello jump off spot. Generous accents of red leather trim with matte black wood trip gives the place a good attempt at being not divvy- almost reminiscent of the British turncoats!...A good checkpoint on any Monroe Ave adventure. The drinks at Turncotts are definitely on par with the neighborhood. Depending on your relationship with the mixologist behind the bar, you're gonna have that off menu specialty or you're ordering one of the staples on the cocktail menu. You'll get a good drink with any choice. Don't look for the craft beverage on tap, as they offer little that's not bottled. Bottom line: tip your bartender and enjoy life. You're either gonna kick off at Turncotts or splashdown here. That's what makes the patron mix oh so good. If you hit the magic hours between 10 and midnight, you'll definitely have a story to tell at the water cooler. Overall: great homage to a fallen friend. Decent atmosphere with decent drinks. Either we start here or end here... Either way: Tip your bartender and party on Wayne.

Has all the classics and its own flair as well. Very ample menu, but I appreciate the fact that it's not pages and pages of things no one orders. Their selection tells me they sell what they have and, therefore, can expect fresh, high-quality food at a reasonable price. As a nod to the local food scene, we "started" with their version of a garbage plate. One dog and one burger. Was very good. Shared with my son as an appetizer. Was more fun than anything else. But it was tasty, not greasy for what it is. My son then ordered a pastrami Ruben. The portions are excellent. The marble rye and the fries clinically perfect. The pastrami was mid-level deli wog. Kind of a disappointment. I had a turkey club. The best I've had outside of NJ. Clearly house roasted turkey. Perfect toast to meat and veg ratio. Fresh. Delicious. My only knock is YOU DON'T put cheese on a club!!! I'll ask for no cheese next time. The next two points are really how I judge a diner... pickles and coleslaw. Pickles were good. But just good. The Cole slaw was very good. I was happy. Service exceeded my expectations. Really fantastic. Prices very reasonable. Excellent portions. Simply cannot wait to go again and try a burger.
