Calamari, mini burger and Tomatoe bread.

Food was absolutely terrible. Everything we ordered came out cold, including the fries with the mini burger I'm sure there are better restaurants to choose from.

    Greek salad!

Excellent experience! We ate outdoors and service was solid, white sangria exceptional and the veggie Paella with shrimp was amazing!!! My ham n cheese grilled sandwich was great. The pumpkin burrata cheese, hazelnut pomegranate salad was Crazy great! Small Greek salad was great-deservedly a 5 star review for this place!

Very good food and service right near La Familia Sagrada.

Very good food and service! Quickly sat inside the clean, cute cafe. The wait staff was very friendly even with my limited Spanish. The moon and jamon came free without asking and it was delicious! The fish was so fresh and was listed as a special outside.

If you're reading this, then you probably speak English. I don't know why this place got three stars. The food here was incredible. We ordered tapas see my pictures. My favorite was the anchovies. If you're a fan of sardines it's OK you can order the anchovies. They're very little salt, but just enough to still taste like an anchovy. See how beautiful the sangria is. It is not authentic sangria. It has champagne in it which wasn't my favorite. I prefer American sangria.

Good place for a quick sangria and some small tapas. The octopus and the bread with warm olives and olive oil were great for a quick stop. Not my favorite place in the city, but if you're super hungry and in need of something, this is good for a quick stop.

This place was GOOD, the tapas were perfect for sharing and the ham holy moly it was out of this world. The location is also awesome as it's right by a beautiful cathedral and some great views.

    Perfect combination and friendly staff!!

Very friendly staff and perfect food taste. All tested great. Great if you enjoy outdoor or indoor dining!

Absolutely amazing little place we found close to us that was also recommended by locals. Amazing food and great drinks. Came here three different times within the week we were in Barcelona

We ordered Seafood pasta, grilled octopus, cockere (roasted chicken), Greek salad, sangria are really good. We even ordered second round octopus and seafood pasta. Highly recommended.

Walking around the Gothic area, we stopped by this restaurant to eat a bite. They have an outside area to sit as well as inside. We got there about an hour before they closed for the siesta. Not too many people were there. The hostess asked us if we knew Spanish or English, and gave us an English menu. There were lots of tapas to choose from as well as several other entree's. We ordered the sangria with champagne (cava) for the table. It was light and refreshing considering it was quite warm outside. I ordered the paella which had seafood as the meat. Very delicious! Lots of seafood, the rice had perfect amount of moisture, and everyone loved it. My BF got pappardelle pasta with seafood. It came with some kind of tomato sauce. Perfect rich with flavor and paired very nicely with the seafood. The son got half of a rabbit. It was so moist. The seasoning on it let the rabbit flavor shine through. And the daughter got half a chicken. Again, it was very moist and juicy. Not dry at all. It is a good place to eat as you continue walking around the Gothic quarter area.

Very touristy. Very mediocre, value is pretty low for the price. We had the paella - just mediocre. Wish I would have checked out the yelp reviews first! I usually do but was starving after long flight. Save yourself the trouble, go somewhere else.

My wife and I stopped in here for tapas before one of our nights out so my review is based solely off of my burger slider which was amazing. The meat was fresh, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The toppings were also great. I wish we would have had more time to have had a full meal here because the menu and food options I saw looked great.

We were lost and hungry and this was convenient for us so we stopped here. Our experience was very pleasant. We dined alfresco. It was under a tent and there were heaters aplenty so it was perfect to sit outside and eat. My friend had a veal dish and I had paella. We were both very happy with our food and the service. Also the prices were reasonable and the quality of the food was very good. We were there at about 10:30 PM. One waiter had the entire outside section. He handled it very well. We didn't have to wait long to order food. The clientele was about half locals and half tourists when we were there.

Nestled in an unassuming network of cobble stone lined alley ways are hidden gems worth discovering. We came looking for tapas, paella, sangria; and we found just that. Location: Plaza de España is within a 5 min walk, blocks away from shopping, and 30 minutes from the airport by way of shuttle. Used Google Maps with several sharp turns to find this local favorite. Service: the owner employs his pet Pomeranian, that follows the wait staff unconditionally. This is a no frills restaurant; grab a seat anywhere you like, and order off the menu. What we ate: Table service - pitted olives; briny and herbaceous. So delicious as an appetizer. Crisp Potatoes - served with aioli and red pepper sauce; so simple yet so comforting. Fried Calamari - can't go wrong with crispy calamari. Pork & Mushroom Paella - I know we're used to seeing seafood, but pork and mushroom with crispy rice is different, bold, and worth each bite. Sangria Blanco - I won't lie, it was heaven with the first sip, and it left me wanting more. Unlike its red cousin; white sangria is lighter and more fruit forward. So refreshing! After 18 hours of transiting; this was a delectable experience.

Ziryab seemed to fit the bill, so we made plans to stop here during our first night in the city. Ziryab is located close to the Gothic Quarter, on side street. It's kind of inconspicuous from the outside, but the interior gives way to a really welcoming space. The restaurant is separated into two main areas, with an earth-tone color scheme that has a rustic, almost cave-like aesthetic. The high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows keep the dining room open and spacious. The tapas menu had a good selection, and we decided on several items: pan con tomate, sweet potato rolls, chicken cannelloni, bacon-wrapped figs, croquettes, falafel, and a charcuterie board. All the tapas were great - my favorites were the chicken cannelloni, pan con tomate, and the charcuterie board. The cannelloni especially was a standout - definitely a unique dish, and the chicken was super flavorful. We opted for dessert, and got the feta whip cheesecake - this was great as well. The combination of tang and sweet was a good finisher to our meal. Service was great - everyone was friendly and our dishes were served at a good pace. Overall, I'm glad I tried out Ziryab - the tapas were delicious and atypical of ones you find elsewhere in Barcelona. I would have no qualms returning here for another meal.

I had no idea how huge and elegant the restaurant was until I went inside to use the bathroom before leaving. We were there just after 7 pm so it wasn't as busy as I imagine it will get later, because in Barcelona, people don't have dinner until 9 or 10 PM. We ordered fresh salmon with dill, coroquetas de jamón iberico, a cod fritter, and chicken cannelloni with foie gras and black truffle sauce. We also ordered the pan with tomate, of course to soak up the truffle sauce. The cannelloni was amazing! I mean it melted in your mouth amazing!! After our snacks... We ordered dessert. We ordered their homemade Belgian chocolate ice cream, which is hands-down, the best chocolate ice cream I've ever eaten. And we also ordered their version of a crème brûlée called crema Catalonya! It's done so right, juicy tangy, bursting with flavors and the pita in the salad is made into a curly flower and gives a delicious crunch. We liked the dish of garbanzo and yogurt a bit less, as it was quite heavy and lacked flavor. My son was very pleased with shish tavouk with chicken, and I loved my halloumi dish.
