Amazing taps Danny was an amazing host !!

Food. Ambience. Service Danny 5 STAR Definitely worth attending Quick and easy selection.

Everything was fabulous. Six of us shared the tapas for four, which included desert, coffee and TWO bottles of wine, and separately ordered a seafood paella. The waiter was alone, but was working full speed providing exceptional service. We had more than enough food for all. Great spot in Barcelona to sit outside and feast.

Surprisingly good food in amazing location near Sagrada Familia. No frills place that will have excellent food: very flavorful paella with huge servings, nice croquetas, perfect tortilla de patata and a really tasty Brie salad. Another surprise was de chocolate crepe and the crepe catalana did not disappoint.

greek salad & piquillo peppers - peppers were great!

Tossa was great, exactly what we were looking for - some place reasonably priced and easy for lunch. Service was quick and friendly which was a welcome surprise. Started with the spanish omelette which was fine, little oily for me but definintely not bad. Greek salad was fine, nothing special, rather standard, but still tasty. Then got piquillo peppers which were great. Really good flavor - some heat, some smoke, bit of salt. Would get these again. But the best item were the honey sauce chicken breasts. These were excellent. Came on their own stone board with tons sauce and a good spice seasoning the chicken. Convenient, quick, easy, definitely get the chicken breasts!

Delicious croquettes, ham, potatoes, and pan con tomate. Also got a tasty Catalan bottle of wine recommended for 14 euro. Service was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Would definitely return. Also able to sit outside near a space heater ... huge plus! And the little grappa shot at the end was an unexpected but pleasant bonus.

Fantastic little tapas place near enough to the SF, but far enough away it's off the tourist path. We enjoyed several dishes as well as a small pitcher of sangria that was the perfect size for two people. The service was good and efficient. The waiter spoke English well, too. Tapas are reasonably priced and of high quality. The only downside is that when sitting outside you have to deal with all the smokers making our meals a living hell.

    Chocolate coulant- lava cake

Great experience here as it is in the same block as Barcelona 1882 hotel. The restaurant has been around for 20 years and people are mostly locals so it is quaint and authentic. We asked the waiter Daniel and nothing he recommended was bad at all! Grilled octopus with potato and rosemary, blacks (potato with breaking cheese), Catalan bread and pork bruschetta and mixed coquette. We also had chocolate coulant which is like lava cake with fresh fresh whipped cream that is light. Daniel also let us try crem arroz con leche which like sake with cream. Wow! It is a great way to end the meal! This may be our go to place for our breakfast as well!

Tapas with prawns, fried octopus, patata bravas, croquettes. It's amazing.

Found the recommendation on yelp. I like that it's an unassuming corner cafe - nothing fancy in the furnishings but the food, oh my goodness the food! The flavours are amazing. I had the selection of Mixed croquettes which were amazing and the tapas with seafood. Downed by a lovely glass of sangria. This places reminds me of home. I love it. Go ahead, try them - you shan't be disappointed.

    Pork Tenderloin

Stopped in because we were in the area and the place did not disappoint. We had an assortment of tapas which included: papas bravas, pork tenderloin, chicken with mustard sauce (recommend), grilled octopus, tuna tartare, and croquetas. So everything was delicious except for the tuna tartare which I found extremely bland. Considering this is a coastal city I think all of the seafood should be on point but this dish was kind of a let down. There was also only one server for the entire night service and he did a great job running back and forth between tables but I do think they were a little under staffed. We'd come back.

    Great tapas lunch. Family friendly

A very good lunch option in walking distance from La Sagrada Familia. Lots of tapas options. Good seafood selections. Cold beer on tap. Friendly service and family friendly.

    Croquettes combination

We were a group of eight with four teenagers. After spending most of the day walking and had a very underwhelming lunch at a well known tapas place made famous by Bourdain, we put our faith in Yelp by braving out to a restaurant with only a handful of reviews. And we're glad we did it! Don't get swayed away by the simple setting of the place and the remoteness of the location (due to other popular tourist attractions), this place is legitimately good. Everything we tried was really fresh and tasty. The waiter, who practically waited the entire restaurant, was very pleasant and helpful. We asked for recommendations and he patiently answered all of our questions. What we ordered: - Steamed mussels (crazy fresh and we ordered seconds after devouring the first ones in two minutes flat) - Seafood tapas combination. Everything, except one kind of fish, is good, especially the octopus. Even though most of the stuff is grilled, you can taste the freshness. - Croquettes combination. We sampled their croquettes and all of them are good. It includes chicken, cheese, mushroom, and some other ones I can't remember. - Calamari tapas. Nice and soft. - Catalan bread. With the tomatoes on top, it was interesting. - Local beer. We didn't try the draft beer, but the bottled local one is quite good with almost no bitter taste. And at the end, to top off the brilliant dinner experience, we were given some sort of liquor for the adults. If we ever come back to Barcelona, this place would be the first on our list.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere, and friendly waiter! We ordered lots of tapas and shared. We ordered fried artichokes with a tomato sauce, mussels, fried fish with red sauce and aioli, a variety of croquettes, patatas bravas, and roasted little green peppers (I think it was called peppers padron). We also got delicious sangria! Very affordable as well.

This was recommended by friends awhile back, I remembered the modern ambiance, amazing Tapas, friendly service and the place was as busy then until now. For this big restaurant caliber, it's pretty crowded yet they do a good job with a fast turnaround. We did the early Dinner and by the time we got out there was already a long line for late Diners. The fact that even after a decade, it's rare that I go back to the same spot let alone they're still around after all these years. You already know that tells a lot and I feel bad for those who didn't have the same great experience, hope they give it another shot. See y'all soon! Salut, Vermouth!

My son had been here last year and thought, it was a solid. We put our name in, went to a nearby park bench to wait and watch people for 50 minutes. The servers outside are grumpy as to many people are crowding the sidewalk and impeding his service. Finally, our name was called, were seated at the bar, and watched a chef make the magic dishes. The menu is huge and I can't help but watch the delicious dishes flying by us. So little time and yet so many great choices, this won't be easy. We began with the beef tenderloin montadito foie gras. It was presented as a open face sandwich on a bagette. We split it as it had a huge piece of foie gras. The tenderloin was tough and the tapas tasted like indivdual components, not a blended or refined profile. The grilled razor clams were nicely cooked, slightly gritty and needed to be washed more thoroughly. The Spanish omelet wedge was spiritual, dish of the night award. The onion made the dish! The sliced fried artichoke was finely shaved, and again lacked a enjoyable flavor that I would order again. The chips with fried eggs and Jabugo ham was different, tasty and a concept I would not of thought about. Delicious! Casveseria Catalanahe was packed and stacked for a reason. A high vibe and energy even in the face of a revolt at the check in desk from hungry dinners. I came say without hesitation, we will give them a second try. The staff was friendly, engaging, warm and a good sense of humor, nothing but smiles. I can't wait for our next trip to Cerveseria Catalana and let them tell me what to order. Good luck and see you sooner than later.
