Andalusian style squids with kimchi mayonnaise = calamari with spicy Mayo
    Angeline D.

MANÁ 75 was a great lunch option to eat in Barceloneta Beach. If it's your first time trying paella, you have plenty of options to choose from. It does take about half an hour for them to prepare for it you, so ordering some starters are highly recommended. - Andalusian style squids with kimchi mayonnaise: it was definitely worded in a fancier way than "calamari with spicy mayo." lol it was good, but don't expect anything special. - Seasonal tomato salad with tuna belly: I honestly wished the tuna belly was prepared differently. Slightly overcooked, but personally would've preferred sashimi style. - Sea bream carpaccio with smoked oil: this was good. would recommend and get again. - Seafood paella "senyoret": tasty, well seasoned, good shrimps. I just wished there was more socarrat (crunchy caramelized bottom). Not sure if that's more of a specific region way of cooking paella. Would still recommend trying. Was torn between this and several other paellas they offer. Large restaurant space with modern decor. Able to accommodate all parties - small to large. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Walkable to the beach. Friendly staff that speak English very well. Tourist friendly with English menus. Fairly fast service. Would recommend coming to visit!

    Norwegian lobster and scallops paella

Located along the beach, across from the W Hotel, this is a hot spot for locals. We saw at least 4 Bridal Showers, and many special occasions for Happy couples. I was in search of authentic Catalonian food and found a gem of a restaurant. They say that really good paella takes time to cook, and the waiter will warn you that your paella is minimum 30 minute cook time. Trust me, this place is worth the wait! This was the most delicious Paella- Norwegian lobster and scallops, which was in a rich saffron rice sauce. The Steak Tatar was absolutely amazing and paired well with the Pa amb tomàquet (which literally translates to "bread with tomato" in Catalan). Instead of bread, they provided deep fried olives!

Nom Nom Nom Nom! What Lunch with a couple of co-workers (total 4). We had lots of tapas and then paella for 3 (shared with 4). The mussels were really good! The little fishes were also very good. The croquettes were okay to me. The paella was good - the seafood tasted good, the rice had different level of cooked depending on where it was. Overall I really enjoyed the mussels, the rice and fish. Environment Located right by the W hotel, this was a great spot, nicely decorated interiors. Very brunch like if you'd ask me, very fitting for a lunch paella with a sangria? Niceness of the staff Super nice staff to attend to 3 foreigners. Loved the hospitality - loved the dessert display instead of a menu. I was able to see what I want. Dollar It was decently prized I guess. Yes I would return here just for the fish and mussels!

Wanted to try some really good paella and came here for lunch just as it opened. We opened for the paella with the noodles and with the shells on the seafood. Presentation was great and it was a nice lunch special with a starter too. The staff was very nice and friendly and attentive. They also gave me a free dessert since we were celebrating my birthday. It all was a pretty good lunch deal. I definitely recommend!

The ambiance at this restaurant is beautiful with a stylish interior that initially made me feel hopeful about the meal to come. Unfortunately, the food was a major letdown and ultimately a health concern. Even our waitress was surprisingly rude and dismissive, which only made the overall experience more disappointing. I ordered the seafood paella, and while it was plated well, the flavor was far from authentic. The seafood did not taste fresh as it had an off-putting aftertaste. A few hours after the meal, my friend (who also had the paella) began experiencing severe stomach issues, which continued into the next day. It was clear he had come down with food poisoning. I called the restaurant the following day to inform them, not to demand anything, but simply let them know what had happened so they could investigate and take precautions. While the person I spoke to apologized and said the kitchen would follow up, I never heard back from the kitchen. What was supposed to be a nice night out ended up ruining the next couple of days for both of us. There are plenty of other local spots that serve fresher, more authentic food. I recommend dining at Can Solé for delicious mouthwatering paella.

Located near the Sea, this beautifully decorated restaurant with its mixture of textiles on the walls, ceilings, and seating invites you inside like a warm and lovely Mediterranean living room. The service was attentive and on-point. The menu, varied and showcasing their "must" order: paella. So that's what we ordered: chicken and shrimp paella with green asparagus. 30+ minutes later, paella cooked with seasoning and soul was delivered to our table, and it was absolutely delightful! Until then, the Spanish potatoes salad was a treat: potato salad, but add peas, tomatoes, and tuna?! I mean, come on: mind blown and yet, I'd order it again. And the patatas bravas, this is now one of my favorite authentic Spanish dishes! Top it off with a sangria that sneaks up on you, and you'll probably only want to order one, not two. Definitely worth the visit!

I was recommended by our Taxi driver about Mana 75. He said the paella was superb, I had to check it out before going to W Barcelona. It was 4 pm on a Sunday and this restaurant was completely packed. The hostess gave us a table immediately since a 3:30 pm reservation didn't show up. The server Jon K was efficient, recommended some entrees. Vegetable paella - good, not as savory as I would have liked. Impressive display of paella for the large orders. Ham croquettes and the Bomba de la Barceloneta was excellent. Ambience- there were so many large parties celebrating their birthdays- this appeared to be a special place for family gatherings.

Read the great reviews of this place! It lived up to it's billings. Atmosphere was very nice, service was excellent (Wilbur was off). Definitely must try if you're in Barcelona.

The service was fantastic, the seafood paella (peeled) was very tasty. An overall great experience here.

The paella here is fantastic, whether you're dining solo or with a group. They also offer a seafood paella where they'll peel everything for you, making it an even more enjoyable experience. Just be sure to book a reservation in advance if you can, as the waitlist fills up quickly. The service is also very good - and Claudi was a pleasure to have as my server.

Well, the restaurant was cute and cozy with a great ambiance. With luck on our side, we found two seats at the bar and quickly ordered drinks. We ordered a pitcher of the sangria (because why not?). The sangria was delicious, refreshing, and made to order. It was definitely more authentic than what we're getting in America. We ordered the patatas bravas, tempura asparagus, the octopus, and the steak. It all came out as it became available. We couldn't decide what our favorite was, to be honest. We ordered an ice cream sandwich for dessert and quickly requested our bill. We didn't want to hold the staff up as we noticed they were cleaning the establishment and people were finishing up. Overall, what a great experience for our first meal in Barcelona! Cute and hidden gem.

My Greek salad was very authentic and was as good as any salad I had while I lived in Greece. Very fresh vegetables, great Feta and seasoned to perfection. The shrimp scampi under the Tapas menu with garlic was equally good and oh so tasty. The smallish inside restaurant is best described as rustic and a tad warm. Instead I opted for the outside dining area, which has just a few tables but offered a very pleasant ambiance in the small side street this business is located on with low foot traffic and a very nice breeze on the warm day I dined here. The relaxed dining on the outside is definitely the way to go here especially during the summer months. From a negative standpoint, certain aspects of the service were too slow. I was seated pretty quickly upon arrival but I waited a tad bit too long to get my order in. Once ordered though, the food came pretty quickly on a positive note. However, for all intents and purposes the service stopped at that point where I had no follow up and literally had to walk inside the business to get my bill. Taverna El Glop wraps you up in its warm, lively atmosphere the second you walk in. We were a group of four, and from start to finish, we had an awesome time. The open kitchen is a great touch -- you can watch the chef in action, which adds to the energy and makes the whole experience feel more connected and authentic. We shared a bunch of dishes, and everything was on point. The paella was rich and delicious -- exactly what we came for. The patatas bravas were crispy, creamy, and gone in seconds, and the shishito peppers were the perfect salty, snacky starter. Of course, we had to get a pitcher of sangria (okay, maybe two), which was fruity, refreshing, and just strong enough to keep things festive. The space itself has this great, rustic charm -- complete with checkered tablecloths and even an old cigarette machine near the bar (haven't seen one of those since I was a kid -- aren't those banned in the U.S. now?). I don't smoke -- smoking sucks -- but it added a bit of unexpected nostalgia and character. Service was excellent. I always make a point to be friendly, ask people their names, and introduce myself -- and that's usually met with warmth. It definitely was here. The staff were quick, kind, and seemed to enjoy the place as much as we did. Personally, I loved it. It's the kind of place you remember -- not because it's fancy or trendy, but because it's fun, flavorful, and full of heart. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
