Really great fresh food with some interesting combinations. We came here on a whim (no…read morereservations) while visiting my wife's niece at UofO at around noon on a Saturday. Busy but they had a table for us. Very nice decor, rotating menu. We had the buckwheat pancakes with caramelized bananas, dates, and pineapple syrup which was sweet but not overly so since the pancakes underneath were not touched by the syrup ended up being a really nice balance. Bacon was like a cross between pork belly and bacon (very thick) but really tasty. Breakfast Sando was good with in-house ground pork and a nice aioli. We also tried the savory macarons (Brie and truffle) which are delicious. Creamy and a tad sweet. Not too much truffle. Coffee was a bright tangy pour over-not my favorite type but some people really like that style. Oh, and we had a blood orange mimosa which was really good Overall an excellent experience! Definitely going to again when we are in town!

Our waiter just about clutched his pearls when I asked for Stevia. The ambience reminded us of small tourist-free boutique eateries in NYC. They got rid of the delicious sides they use to have and they charge $4 per soda. Shrimp were overcooked and you get 4 of them. I wanted the steak well done but it was bloody. Not for me... Waiter was terrible acted in a hurry, never came back to our table. We had to flag her down. Steak I got took over an hour to get and no a1 sauce In fact all you get is some kinds house sauce that's not good either. Sad because it use to be a good place and the sides were amazing but now it's terrible all the way around.

Sept 2026 Parking:…read more we came on a Thursday evening and there was ample parking in the lot and the street. Menu: Selection was similar to fancier bar food. Expect to pay $20+/person. Fancy cocktails available too. Food: I ordered the steak sandwich and was okay. Very small amount of hangar steak. Fries were crispy. Wife ordered chicken Cesar salad. Nothing to write home about. Kid ordered the steak frites and this was the biggest disappointment of the night. VERY small serving....about 4 slices of perhaps rib eye? Under seasoned and very thin slices. Fries were crunchy though. My kid isn't a big eater and he was still hungry after eating this. Chicken nachos were delicious plentiful, but it came with huge cherry tomatoes on it. More tomatoes than cheese! And the cheese was grated cheese. Not a creamy bechamel cheese sauce. They barely put any cheese on this. Mostly tomatoes and sour cream. Pass on this. This was something you can get at Chilis! Service: Servers were nice. Only came around once to refill out drinks. The food came out really slow! We waited for over an hour and it wasn't that busy. Lot of empty seats! I was appreciative of the server letting us know service/tip already included on our bill. Don't think we'd come back here again.

We were seated immediately, which was greatly appreciated since we still had some driving ahead of us. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly. The food was a mixed bag. The garlic and parmesan wings were delicious--probably the best that I have had at a restaurant. My partner liked their burger, and the fries were really good. They were very similar to fresh McDonald's fries. The Caesar salad with chicken was okay. I prefer a dressing that is more creamy, and the chicken was pretty tough. That aside, the prices were good, and it was a great pit stop since it was not far from the freeway. We would stop by here again!

The Skybar is located on the 5th floor of the building along with the Hotel lobby... uh okay. The staff are all very pleasant and accommodating. We went to the SkyBar and found it to be a smallish yet convenient place to wait for guests or visitors along with getting a drink or a bite to eat. The bar looks like it can accommodate about 30 people in the interior. There is a nice outdoor patio that can easily accommodate more when the weather is nice. The barkeeper was very attentive and observant, he took our food and drink requests at the bar and in short order, everything was presented. I had a Moscow Mule that I found to be a refreshing drink. Ginger beer, lime and vodka. An excellent combination. I also had an order of the chicken wings and fries. The fries were a normal shoestring variety, cooked well, nicely salted and came in a metal bowl. The wings I found to be outstanding! I don't usually get wings this well made unless I do it myself. I received 8 wings coated with barbecue sauce on a charcuterie board with the fries. The wings were served nicely hot. The meat was piping hot, juicy and tender. The barbecue coating was a hearty middle of the road sauce, not sweet or too smoky. It was caramelized perfectly for that sticky texture and flavor. Definitely a nice coating. Thankfully the bartender brought us a lot of napkins. The wings and fries made for a satisfying meal. The bar boasts a couple of gas fireplaces that make for a warming environment with a few semi private tables. There is a longer table for a larger group as well as several smaller tables and a few bar stools for game watching. All in all we found the bar to be a cozy semi-private environment, yet available to the guests as they come and go. All around, a nice meeting area and watering hole. We will book our family members for a stay here at the hotel. I'm looking forward to trying more of their specialty drinks.

SkyBar didn't necessarily WOW me but was still a chill place to come for a drink, maybe to start the night.
