    Lamb Hash

I had an amazing experience here. I ordered a pistachio latte and the lamb hash. It's self serve. You order when you come in and grab and number and someone brings it to your table. You rarely find a restaurant where you're entire meal was great. The lamb was tender and the herbs were fresh. There is a bakery there so even my toast tasted like a delicacy. I will be returning.

I was really disappointed in this place. We came in on a weekend and the place was PACKED. Absolutely every seat was taken and the line wrapped around the counter. We waited an appropriate amount of time to order. We both got a breakfast sandwich , a pistachio latte and an iced chai latte. The iced chai was comepletlet watered down and tasted like barely spiced milk... the breakfast sandwiches looked good presentation wise but tasted blah. I was bummed because I wanted to like this place and maybe their other baked goods are better but I wasn't impressed.

Unimpressed with the carelessness in how my sandwich was packed. I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich to go withy egg fried MEDIUM and when I got home to eat my meal this is what it looked like. The yolk had been broken which left the bottom bun to get sticky and soggy. The top bun either slid off or wasn't placed on the sandwich but it too was laying in yolk and soggy in certain parts. For the price of the sandwich I wish they took better care in the quality of the presentation of their to go packaging of food.

Ambiance and food - 4 stars. Service is dismal 2 stars at best. Line to order was long. By the time I ordered and requested for warm-up, they totally forgot the order! Price is on expensive side but variety is good.

What a waste of $44! MISSING BACON on BOTH sandwiches!

10/7/24 Uber Eats Order= Waste of money The Turkey BLAT was missing bacon and had soggy lettuce without tomato! (1 star) The Breakfast Sandwich was missing the extra bacon I paid $2 for! And was thrown together! The Farro Bowl looked less than appetizing with a RAW egg! If the staff couldn't care less about the ingredients and appearance of the food, HOW IS THAT OKAY? I just wasted $44 on a slimy turkey sandwich, one-sided toasted breakfast sandwich, and a small serving of the farro bowl with a RAW egg! I do not recommend ordering food from this location.

Coffee is so good and drinks are very large for the price. Cute vibes and great spot for working or hanging out.

This Tatte location just recently opened, and it's just as amazing as all of their other locations! The food, coffee, and pastries are all delicious and super high quality. Today I ordered the salmon and avocado tartine which was super tasty and more filling than I anticipated. The sourdough was airy and you could tell it was fresh. Loved my iced vanilla latte too. The space is gorgeous and the best part is that there's a TON of seating. This place is great for grabbing brunch or getting work done. Not every seat has an outlet, but I was able to snag one pretty easily. The wifi is fast too! The staff were really nice and attentive as well. Overall, no trip to DC or Boston is complete without a trip to Tatte. I wish they'd open a location in Brooklyn!!

I always enjoy a Tatte experience. This location is very close to my house so stopped in on a whim and grabbed an iced vanilla latte. The coffee was very tasty--not too overly sweet. I didn't try any food on this visit, but I've had their baked goods before and they're pretty good. They seem to have a decent amount of seating here, but the place is always packed. There was a line to order and then about a 10-minute wait to get the drink. People didn't seem sure about how to pick up food or drink so there was a bit of mass chaos but I managed to make it out in one piece.

Our waiter was friendly and gave great recommendations. I ordered the Ted's Bulletin burger with the egg fried hard, and let me just say this was my first time having an egg on a burger, and I'm sold! I'd get it again any day. I also swapped my regular fries for truffle fries, which were a great choice. My boyfriend ordered the fried chicken with biscuits and got the sausage gravy on the side. The chicken was fried perfectly with a nice crunch, the biscuits were soft, and the sausage gravy was so good you could honestly eat it by itself. My daughter got the mac and cheese with a side of fruit and cleaned her plate.. no crumbs left! I'd definitely come back, especially to try their breakfast/brunch since they serve it all day. Overall, I'd recommend Ted's for a solid breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

The decor was right up my alley: gorgeous details, stunning florals, absolutely beautiful. We both went with the Plat Américain, a classic breakfast with eggs, bacon, crispy fingerlings, and a croissant. A simple but solid choice! The croissant especially was so soft and fluffy, thoroughly enjoyed that. I ordered an iced latte and asked for it to be sweetened, but it came out pretty punchy... I don't think the sweetener made it in! If you're into a strong, bold latte you'll love it, but if you like yours on the sweeter side, just make sure to double check with your server. The manager also stopped by our table mid-meal which was a nice touch, super friendly and personable. It was a pleasure!

We stumbled upon this new restaurant on the H Street corridor 8th street--a neighborhood that can feel a bit rough around the edges--but what we found inside was nothing short of a true gem. The moment we stepped in, we were stunned by how beautifully designed the space is. The décor feels warm, elegant, and thoughtfully curated, offering a calm retreat from the busy street outside. But the real magic arrives on the plate. Every dish we tried showcased fresh, high-quality ingredients, layered flavors, and a clear respect for the rich culinary heritage of the Ottoman and Istanbul royal family traditions. You can taste the care and legacy behind every recipe. This is not just another brunch spot--it's a place where history, culture, and freshness come together in a way that feels both authentic and elevated. They have both the upstairs and downstairs of the building. Upstairs is a great social gathering with a bartender and the back patio is nicely renovated that can host pet in the summer months. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely proud of what the restaurant offers. It's rare to find a place that surprises you in all the right ways, but Tiffany's Bistro & Bar does exactly that. A beautiful concept, executed with heart. We can't wait to come back.

When one thinks of a biscuit they think of a fluffy savory item that is a least the size of your palm. These "biscuits" were a joke! Hard as a rock and the size of a cracker!!! Either change the description on the menu or reduce the price significantly- heck do both!! Then the main items came out- we were there for brunch. We asked for over easy eggs, and all the eggs came out overcooked. The sausage was burnt to a crisp and lacked flavor. Given this is a Mediterranean cuisine the flavor should be popping! We had to send the food back at that point! The food that was returned back to us was not any better. This place had potential but the chef really needs to reevaluate his menu items and the final dish that is served to patrons. Would t not recommend.

My nephew and I walked in and were immediately greeted and seated. It wasn't long before our server came and took our drink order. After he came back with our drinks, he took our appetizer order. We ordered fried green tomatoes and they were absolutely delicious. Because it was late afternoon, and my niece was cooking dinner, we decided to try a couple different things and share. We decided on the Honey Butter Pancakes, and the Shrimp and Grits. When I say everything was delightful, I mean everything was flavorful. The appetizer and grits entrée both had a little heat or a kick behind them, but it was just enough to enhance the flavor. The pancakes were small and differently shaped and presented, but they were so good. I would've given them a five, but our server walked past us several times and forgot to refill our water glasses. I believe it was his manager who noticed that our glasses were empty and proceeded to fill them. And because of the time we came in, it couldn't be blamed on too many customers. Every bathroom stall was also out of the toilet seat covers and that's not cool. Yuck!

I went on a Monday before noon so it wasn't really busy. I will say the space is really open and modern which I liked and it's located within the Waterfront. My friend and I ordered a few dishes to share: Biscuits, Shrimp and Grits, and the Berry French Toast. Only one biscuit was soft and fluffy. The other was pretty dry and hard so we didn't finish it. The honey butter (I believe) was light and did compliment the biscuit very well. I just wished we could've enjoyed the same consistency across the two biscuits we ordered. The shrimp and grits was a solid portion. They didn't skimp on the jumbo shrimp or the sausage and this is definitely a dish you can share. I thought it was a little too salty for my taste but again, the meat in this dish was seasoned well. They used challah bread for their french toast which made it nice and dough-y. I thought this was the best dish that we ordered and again, can definitely be shared between two people. It's sweet on it's own, so if you don't have that extra sweet tooth, you won't need to add the syrup. I'd like to try this place again the next time I'm in town and maybe try out their mimosas and other entrees.
