The cookie butter coffee was i enjoyed it as savored it on my ride back to NJ. It was so good! The service was great they were patient since it was my groups first time at for five coffee roasters. The aesthetic was beautiful if i lived in D.C. that would be my coffee shop to work because it was gorgeous and cozy to work.

First time at this particular location, been to another location that I wasn't super impressed with. I stopped by because I was in the area and wanted a warm beverage while I took a few minutes to sit and relax. The inside of the shop was pretty big with nice seating. I ordered a "large" hot matcha latte with almond milk. The large was 16 oz and there was a surcharge of $0.95 for the almond milk! My drink cost just over $9, I found this expensive. Their matcha latte was kind of a let down. Matcha was not particularly good or bad, and the foam was disappointing. It was overall kind of basic for what I thought I paid. Sometimes the matcha lattes from other places will have a subtle sweetness from adding a touch of honey or something or even from the milk or alternative milk in this case. Not sure I would come here again.

Atmosphere is absolutely perfect--nice bar top and or comfortable table settings to do work or catch up. Very open and aesthetically beautiful. If you're going for coffee drinks, I would pass as I found it to be very underwhelming and disappointing. Everything tasted very weak and bland. I ordered a matcha iced latte and felt super disappointed. My boyfriend got their coffee latte and felt the exact same. I ordered their spinach pastry and while the pastry itself had a very nice flaky crust, the filling itself didn't leave me craving for a second bite. My boyfriend ordered one of their s'mores cookie and thought it was ok. Overall, I wouldn't come back as the pastries, cookies, and coffee was a huge miss.

This coffee shop was across the street from the embassy suites I stayed in. On check out day I decided to give them a try. HUGE mistake! I opted for a small matcha latte with oat milk. It took maybe 5 minutes for it to be prepared. I knew immediately that it was all wrong! It came out steaming hot! If you don't know anything about matcha please know that you don't utilize boiling hot water to prepare it! Boiling water burns matcha powder! The entire flavor profile is ruined when it is made with boiling water. The consistency of the drink was also all wrong. It was really thick and gritty. The drink cost me nearly $8. I had to first let it cool and then I attempted to drink it since I did pay for it. I can't speak to the quality of the coffee drinks or food, but for matcha- it's a no!!!!

Incredible. I got invited to breakfast with a friend and I'll be honest, I never heard of For Five coffee before. I'm glad I went! There's lots of seats, and even some at the counter area. People were working on their laptops while enjoying their food. The service was quick and we were offered some additional in-sight regarding the menu. Berry French Toast Coffee | Raspberry Tea | Ice Coffee Full pastry bar with lots to choose from Breakfast sandwich - would never have tried it and it was my favorite thing we ordered Seating area, plenty of room Raspberry tea 10/10 give me 5 more Cinnabon, delicious Steak and eggs - definitely 5 stars Parking is streetside with ParkMobile meters available and also a district parking meter machine. There's also a parking garage if you do not want to run the risk of having a $50-$100 ticket. I was able to park right up front with no issues. Loved the place and will definitely return!

I came here to do some work for a little bit, and was pleasantly surprised by the service and the food. Luckily, I went on a day when they weren't busy at all and also it was closer to closing time. I was looking for a vegan pastry and some coffee originally, but after asking the guy at the front, I found out they don't have any vegan pastries. He offered me their vegan chicken salad sandwich & I was surprised on the portion size. It's a pretty big sandwich, I ended up having to take half home. I'd give it a solid 6/10 , it needed to be seasoned more and the bread needed to be crunchier to offset the texture of the chicken salad. The employees were very kind and went above and beyond to make sure to cater to my dairy allergy which was very sweet. The overall ambiance of the cafe gives your typical cafe, the coffee is pretty good. Would definitely come here again.

Love this cafe to work from. Ample space, menu has plenty of options, and the drinks are great. They're also open later than the other neighboring coffee shops. Plenty of outlets as well!!

Fairly standard cafe. Wasn't wow-ed with the drink (chai with a shot of espresso) as it tasted a bit watered down, but my sandwich was good and croissant was crispy. There's plenty of space inside and outside to enjoy your treat. And the workers are speedy, so it doesn't take long to get your items!

Any city we're in I try to go to new coffee places and steer clear of the green siren. While in DC we went to @forfive daily for coffee and they have fantastic breakfast and lunch options as well. We were actually at the 901 K street location but that one didn't come up on Yelp for me to review so I'm leaving it on this one. There's lots of businesses around and we were there for the AWS conference at the convention center, so that one was really busy with other conference attendees and assuming there regulars who work in the area. They did a great job of handling how busy it was and we looked forward to our easy access to coffee and breakfast before a long day. My husband got the peach French toast with thick slices of brioche bread with soft and warm peach slices. The croissant was soft and flaky yet crispy and sweet. Filled with lots of scrambled eggs with cheese and thick cut maple bacon with a bit of spice. of course we had coffee every single day, and they have a buy 8 cup get 1 free program. I really enjoyed their iced latte and added caramel per my usual every time. Their coffee is strong, but taste great. Overall, I look forward to them having a location in Orlando one day!

They told me that .. this is one of the best coffee place in DC after the first sip I said yes! Ambiance is very clear and it's a good spot for business meeting.. complmentry cookies was good too

Pleasantly surprised by how nice the inside was for working, and how delicious my oat milk latte was! Don't forgot to ask for a loyalty card as well - I honestly love when places still have a physical card!

The tuna sandwich asked for lettuce and told can't add lettuce. My husband asked for something not on his lamb pita, same story. Oh well. No customization at all, no subs. Makes business easier, but not as attractive for price point for customers. I'll remember to keep it to coffee and pastries from now on. Chicken pita was good, a bit heavy on the parsley but loved the dressing. Tuna sandwich was a hit. Pastries are always good. My pistachio latte was chewy bc it had grainy bits of pistachio in it. I had a large ($10ish) with three scoops: Hazelnut Crackle (like ferrero rocher), Black and White Cookie Batter, Vietnamese Cinnamon. These all worked pretty well together. The star was the Hazelnut, which did taste exactly like ferrero, which meant it was delicious. I found the cinnamon a bit to punchy on its own (like Red Hots, which I don't like), but it mellowed out when eaten with the other flavors. The Black and White Cookie did taste like one, but that also meant it was not as strong as flavor as the other two.
