    Muesli bowl
    Alana K.

I came here around 11am on a Monday with my friend. The line wasn't as long as I anticipated, and we managed to grab a table outside. I had an almond milk cortado and a bowl of muesli. Both were amazing. The baristas are so skilled; I've never had a bad drink here. The yogurt/labneh in the muesli is thick and and the toppings were delicious. It might just be a fancy parfait, but I would sell my soul for one of them.

Great spot, great soup... Grilled cheese excellent... Delicious. Excellent roll and muffin too. Fresh bright .... Yes yes!

Visited this Tatte location for the first time today! We had high expectations from the photos and recent reviews - I ordered the Mezze plate, and my boyfriend ordered the Lox Sandwich, along with two iced lattes. The Jerusalem bagel that came with the Mezze was stale - it was hard to bite into and didn't taste like it had been made with 24 hours. The two sides were both tasty, and the eggs were very under. My boyfriend and I liked the Lox sandwich, and our lattes were great. Wanted to love this place because of the bakery aspect but it was the most disappointing part. We'll be back to run in for lattes but nothing else..

Tatte's was the first place I visited when I went to Boston. After hearing multiple recommendations I knew I had to go and try it! I had some very interesting items: Ricotta and pea flatbread Lemon mint tart Cascara soda Everything was amazing! The flatbread was just right, not too doughy and not too heavy. Loved the combination of ricotta and peas - vegetarian paradise. Anything lemon in dessert and I'm usually in. And the cascara soda was something new! Had never tried it before, it's like a coffee cherry flavour! Next time I'm in Boston I'm definitely going here again.

Oh, the Huntington Tatte. Honestly, when craving healthy food, I'll go for Tatte 6/10 times. I got the maple squash and chicken salad and you know, if what you're looking for is raw, natural food, get this! It wasn't super tasteful in my book, but it was filling enough and made me feel good about eating it. I also got a latte that was decent. Wonderful vibes in the cafe, though, although it can be quite difficult to get a seat since a lot of people from Northeastern like to sit there forever with their laptop. Food came in ~10 min, which was a decent, but not super long wait.

G&G Berries & Grapes with a small dead bug in it

I went in to buy a simple cup of fruit today, and found a dead bug in the cup after eating half of it. This is the second time I've found something in my food that wasn't supposed to be there at this Tatte location. The first was a small rock in a farro dish I ordered a few months ago.

This Tatte has improved SO much since I graduated from Northeastern... wow! Only got a DECAF pistachio latte, which was delicious, super refreshing, perfectly sweetened and tasted better than the Tatte lattes I've had at other locations like Assembly or Ink Block. The best part though was the workers. The cashier and baristas were super nice, friendly, pleasant which is not common for Tatte workers from my experience. They also seemed really happy on a gloomy Tuesday. This location is usually packed with students studying, or young professionals having work meetings. It's a pretty location with outdoor seating, but can get pretty loud haha, it's also usually packed and busy during the school year.

Tatte: Just came off a flight and went here right away it was my first time in Boston and this place was highly recommended. It did not disappoint. The lady at the counter was helpful and informative based our order of that We ordered an assortment of pastry I wish I could name them all but every single one we got had levels and layers of flavors that was crafted by well trained staff. I can't say anything bad about this place. Definitely stop by here.

Traditional shakshuka and stuffed French toast
    Josh S.

I absolutely love the food here so far. I've been 2x, once before COVID hit and was able to properly dine in and the second time today, where the food was to-go only and we sat at the tables in the Marino center (next door). So, I've had both the winter shakshuka and the lamb meatball shakshuka. They're equally delicious and worth trying (and I'm sure their traditional version is probably also solid). This dish is real comfort food - hot, savory, and served with fresh made bread for soaking up the saucy dish. The baked good always look phenomenal and are tempting, but I've resisted. Their coffee is decent enough, but I don't know that I'd just go here for coffee without food. In my opinion, the food is definitely the main attraction. The staff members were all very friendly and accommodating both visits and these days, are all wearing PPE and keeping things very clean/safe.

The American breakfast was also tasty, I was shocked by the size they gave so much food. The star of the meal was the French toast! I am not a huge French toast fan and often steer clear because most people can't get it right, but this was by far the best French toast I've ever had. Perfectly fried and full of flavor. If you are a fan of French toast you gotta try theirs you won't be disappointed.

They're cognizant that people wait a long time to eat at their establishment and treat you with kindness when you're inside. It is very cramped and the tables are close together, but the rustic feeling makes it a great place to catch up with 1 or 2 friends. There's a wide variety of breakfast/brunch items, so there's something on the menu for everyone. The kitchen also is good about substitutions. Additionally, the portions are reasonable for the price, especially for the area. Most entrees come with a salad, which was a fun surprise. I got the Signature Scramble and liked the variety in the dish. The eggs did have caramelized onions, which I picked out, but there was a good amount of sauce and flavor on the plate. This place has been on my Boston brunch bucket list, so I'm glad that I've gone. I'd recommend this place to people who appreciate a good meal, but wouldn't take people who are impatient or claustrophobic.

Our party of 9 chose this cafe as a convenient midpoint location and had a terrible experience recently, which is why I'm updating my prior review. When about 2/3 of the group had arrived, we asked if we could be seated. The woman we asked said yes and started putting two tables together. While another woman was bringing chairs over, an angry male server who was not involved at all, suddenly began having an aggressive outburst that made very little sense to us. Even if we didn't fully understand what he was saying, the nonverbal communication was clear enough. Our group felt extremely uncomfortable and disrespected, so we left immediately. I don't know what their internal rules are about seating, but offending customers should not be one of them. Thankfully we were able to salvage the evening elsewhere, but service here could be a challenge, especially for larger groups. I'm fortunate that the cafes in my own neighborhood are always kind and welcoming, which makes them a joy to support. I'd hope Vittoria could do better in the future, but personally, we are unlikely to try them again.
