The ambiance is really cute and the staff is very nice and friendly. The coffee however missed the mark for me. I ordered a cortado paid additional to add ube and I could barely even taste a hint of the ube. The cortado itself was okay.

This place is incredibly mid, I'm not gonna lie. Nothing was bad per se, but definitely not worth the price or the stop especially being that there are so many other quality coffee shops in Boston. I will admit, the vibes are very cute and there's a good amount of seating both indoors and outdoors, but besides that I wasn't a big fan of my experience here. The food came out pretty fast, even though the spot was very busy, but you can tell that might be just because nothing is really made fresh-- to me it seems like most of the hot food is prepared ahead of time and just warmed up. Additionally, the service overall was not the most efficient or friendly, again likely because they were busy and possibly due to being a new location. The matcha wasn't bad, and I actually really enjoyed their specialty strawberry flavoring, but their coffee was not great which is disappointing for a cafe with the drink name in their title. As I mentioned the hot food was average, and the pastries honestly didn't taste super fresh. Out of everything though, I have to comment their salmon tartine! If I were to go back for anything or recommend an item, it was would definitely be that. It was fresh and the flavors and textures worked together nicely! All in all, I'd skip this spot if I were you, unless you're just passing by and in need of a quick bite. If anything, I'd get one of their tartines or sandwiches.

My order: iced espresso with vanilla and oat milk The Review: Not everywhere will shake your espresso. Nor will they make their own syrups. Nor do they put the perfect amount of creamy, high-quality oat milk. Koko sure does! I was hesitant because I was not a fan of their other downtown location. Turns out, after trying many places, this Koko is one of the best coffee spots in the area. My drink was great--they brew local Broadsheet coffee and serve it in a light and airy café that is perfect for socializing. Great place, will most definitely return.

The blondie batter latte was smooth and dessert forward. It's indulgent and sweet with hints of caramel, though definitely best for those in the mood for something playful rather than a straight coffee profile. The menu offers a range of unique flavors like Biscoff, gingerbread, and cinnamon bun, which adds variety. What really elevates Koko is the atmosphere. The space is bright, calm, and thoughtfully designed, making it an easy place to sit and linger.

A cute place to stop by to escape the cold winter! I got the hot vanilla matcha and it was just what I needed. My friend got the matcha with irish cream but couldn't really taste the irish cream. The breakfast croissant was delicious although a little pricey for what it is.

Excited to check out this cafe that opened up near North Station! Walking in, the interior is super cute and the perfect spot for some coffee photos. They also have a lot of outdoor seating for sunny days. I ordered a blondie batter iced latte and chocolate croissant - both were delicious. They were able to make the latte less sweet, which I really appreciated. Everyone working was friendly and drinks come out fast, so definitely check them out!

Ordered 2 iced chais & 2 breakfast sandwiches. After waiting over 30 minutes, finally received my food - only to open up a soggy bagel, no bacon & a hockey puck of an egg. Only giving 1 star so that I'm able to submit a review - will not eat here again. 2 thumbs down

Cute coffee shop right by North Station. Service was quick and attentive. I got a sandwich and matcha latte, pretty good. Excited to try their pastries.

Their cannolis are definitely top notch. All of their flavors circling on the wall, so you know what you want by the time you get to the front. They also have other pastries too but I usually come for a cannoli. Florentine is my favorite (also more money). There's always a line down the sidewalk, and then more once you're inside. This location is cash only so beware. Is it Bostons best? I don't know, but it's really good.

It was located inside another food hall called Hub Hall. If you want to try the cannolis at a non-crowded location, this is your best bet compared to the North End. Also, there's tables and chairs to sit and eat since it's a food hall. It was great cause there was a heat wave, and there's A/C. I'm sure that's also helpful in winter to keep warm. I had already been to the North End location twice, but this is better. Might not be the OG, but it still hits the spot. This time, I tried one of their featured cannolis - Dubai Chocolate. That flavor has been the craze for a year or so now. I definitely preferred this flavor over the hazelnut. I liked the pistachio one I had years ago, so I knew I would like this. Plus, it has chocolate. I liked that the shell was coated with chocolate. I could've added pistachios at each end because I asked and he offered, but I decided not to. I liked the little bits of kataifi in it with the pistachio and ricotta filling. I'm glad I had a fork to eat it after a few bites. I ate half since it can be really rich. The guy was really friendly and explained the other desserts they had like whoopie pies, brownies, cheesecake and raspberry jelly danish. My friend enjoyed the danish though the jelly can be really sweet. If that's your thing, I'd say go for it. I would've tried the cheesecake, but I still had the cannoli, and we were trying to head back before the 4th of July fireworks to walk to The Esplanade. Next time! So, if you want a more "low key" Mike's Pastry with excellent service, come here! Also, he gave us the food hall's restroom code before we purchased anything. Much appreciated since there's limited restrooms around Boston unless you're at a restaurant or near the Freedom Trail attractions/park where there's a visitor center.

The banana tastes nicely sweet and fresh, creamed with miso adding that hint of savory goodness and topped with caramel. The croissant was beautifully flakey, buttery. One look at the pastry case and you know it's going to be a buttery, flakey delicious experience. I was able to get a chai latte with oat milk (hot) and a ham and cheese croissant. Boy, my h&c croissant was so light, airy. The crisp outer layers were crunchy and the inner filling was thin and not overly heavy. It was perfect to go with my latte. You have the option of indoor seating or outside in their little patio area. Since it was a nice morning, we opted to sit outside, there was a few gusts of wind (becareful and hold onto your napkins!). I have to say, the breeze was kind of nice. My sis got a creme brulee kouign-amann and it was dense, very filling, and over the top! She had it with a cup of coffee. Definitely a must if you want a decadent breakfast! All in all, it was a nice experience sitting outside for a nice breakfast at the seaport, only thing we were missing was the view of the harbor.

We walked into a bright and modern space with display cases filled with different pastries and desserts, the kind of bakery that feels like a convenient stop for a quick coffee and pastry, but also works well when looking for a cake or something to bring for a celebration. The layout is clean and inviting, with the display case taking center stage and the seating area offering a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy your order. The pastries are the main reason we would visit. The croissants and baked goods have a light, flaky texture, and there is a good variety of options ranging from classic French-style pastries to more unique flavors. The strawberry cream items are a standout because the combination of soft pastry, fresh fruit, and cream feels balanced without being overly heavy, and the cakes are a popular choice, especially for birthdays, because they are decorated nicely and tend to have a lighter style of frosting compared to many traditional American cakes. Beyond desserts, Paris Baguette also has sandwiches and savory options that make it more than just a bakery stop. The chicken pesto sandwich is a good example of how the menu mixes café-style food with bakery items, and the coffee and drinks pair well with the pastries, making it easy to grab a seat and spend some time there rather than just picking something up. The experience can vary depending on how busy the location is. The ordering process is usually straightforward, but busy periods can make service feel slower, especially when there are a lot of pastry and cake orders happening at the same time. Since many items are prepared ahead, checking the freshness of certain pastries can make a difference depending on what you choose. Paris Baguette is a reliable bakery option for pastries, cakes, and casual café items. The biggest strengths are the variety, presentation, and lighter dessert style, and while consistency can depend on the location and timing, it is still a convenient choice when looking for a mix of sweet and savory bakery items in one place.

The cake base is rather ordinary, but the blueberry yogurt cream has just the right amount of tartness, balanced by a touch of sweetness from the regular animal cream, while the strawberry pieces make the overall feel brighter. The "not too sweet" quality is truly exceptional.
