Coffee is very inconsistent here. Sometimes the cortado is like a macchiato with just a dollop of milk and then a cappuccino I got here recently was wayyy too milky, couldn't taste coffee at all. I love the coffee here, the service has for me always been friendly and efficient. The coffee, they have 3 blends to choose from, as an Italian I like to taste my coffee I choose the Kicco 100, it's the strongest and most flavorful. As dairy and I have an intensely toxic relationship I choose pistachio milk here, they also have oat milk and almond milk for the dairy challenged...the pistachio really adds a nice creaminess and nutty flavor that really compliments the Kicco 100 blend...which I recommend for miei concittadini italiani! Finding truelly good coffee that isn't all sugar or anemic in flavor can be difficult, not here. Kicco has some fun coffee specialties, like Nutella, and other fun things, matcha and all her fun flavors. There are great pastries and panini as well! Kicco is a bit hidden, all the way in the back of TD Garden at Nashua Street...definitely a place for the "If you know you know" crowd! read more

Overpriced somehow lukewarm coffee and dry pastries, but I live in the adjacent building so it was convenient so I let it go. In retrospect, it does not really make sense to pay their prices when there are other options of better quality in the hub. To add insult to injury, I paid $15 for their burrata special, they never gave me the burrata yet still charged me. It was supposed to be delivered in a week, instead it came in 2 at which time I was out of the country. The professionalism is lacking. I spoke to the manager who just kept repeating the same sentence and was talking over me. They don't seem to be concerned about customer retention, which cost them my/my family and friends business. read more

I went here and immediately remembered my dad's advice: "Make coffee at home." Waking up a few minutes earlier would have saved me from terrible coffee, a stale pastry, and discourteous service. One of my favorite places to get coffee in the north end (technically west end, but it's close enough). The service is always pretty quick and there's never a wait either. That might be because of its location..it's kind of tucked away and the first time it took us a while to find. The easiest way to get there is to walk in to north station by the star market entrance, turn left and walk straight until you get to the doors and then walk through those and you'll see it (you'll pass Dunkin on the way). It's not what I would describe as a cozy coffee shop, it's the kind of place where you get your coffee and then leave. Now the drinks themselves.. The coffee cream/coffee ice cream is DELICIOUS. This was the first thing I ever tried and it blew me away. It is very heavy but so yummy. The latte affogato is also delicious, probably because they use that coffee cream in it! The Americano is great with any of the coffee blends. The Nutella latte is also one of my favorites, especially if you like Nutella. The gingerbread affogato was great too! This is a seasonal item I think but if it's there definitely try it! Everything here is so great, and the rotating specials make it very easy to want to keep going back and trying new ones. I loved it here! Prime location right next to north station. I got the pistachio croissant to eat and the filling was so tasty. To drink I got a mango refresher with lemonade and it was both unique and delicious! I loved all the cool non-coffee options. Feels like this is a hidden gem behind the TD Garden / Hub Hall. I stopped by after lunch to get a decaf latte & it did not disappoint. What I appreciated of this business is that they have clearly labeled all the food items they sell with common allergens so you know what the food item contains. For my gluten free friends, they sell small cookies, almond flour based so you can have a small sweet treat here with your coffee or preferred drink. (But unfortunately from what I observed that would be it.) They also sell Italian food items, coffee, and sweets. The location has a few tables nicely spread out so you're not next to your neighbor. This new coffee shop is hidden near the entrance to north station. They have 3 types of espresso you could choose from for your drinks, as well as a selection of imported pastries from Italy and other packaged snacks to purchase. They have almond and oat milk as alternatives for $0.50 extra. I tried a small oatmilk ($0.50) Nutella latte ($4.50) with the Naples blend ($0.50). I was worried that it would be too sweet but it wasn't too sweet at all, although I noticed that most of the Nutella ended up in the bottom of the cup. The espresso flavor wasn't very strong so I might try the Kicco blend in the future although this adds an extra $1 to the cost of the drink. The staff are super friendly and they seem really proud of their drinks and snacks! My server even offered me a free cookie. The service is fast so this could be a quick stop before you catch the train. read more

We felt like checking out a coffee shop that wasn't Starbucks or Dunkin' and found this joint a few paces from our hotel. It is in a good spot near North Station so people can grab a cup of coffee before/after catching the train. It was very clean, and wasn't too busy at the time of our visit. My wife had a cup of coffee along with her avocado toast. I had a ham and cheese sandwich. My wife said the coffee was good. The avocado toast was underwhelming given the price. My sandwich was good, but was burnt a little. Also, seemed to take awhile just too prepare the items. Again, the price was up there for what we got in return. Kicco is a small coffee shop right by North Station! The worker was extremely friendly and patient as I chose what to order, and eventually decided on the Nutella Latte (since many people say this is good). The coffee taste was strong and smooth, and the Nutella added a sweetness that wasn't too too sweet with a hint of nuttiness. I had come across Kicco on Instagram, and I knew that I had to visit for that Cold Coffee Cream. A friend and I were in the neighborhood one day, and decided that it was THE DAY to give it a try, and OH MY GAWD. It was delicious! The best way to describe it was like a whipped coffee soft serve. It was excellent. It's only offered in one size, which is probably for the best because my friend and I both agreed that we'd have gotten a giant size to over-indulge in if offered otherwise. Since we were "being good" with our treat-sized Cold Coffee Creams, we also ordered Iced Nutella Lattes, which were lathered in Nutella, and we were 100% there for it. We both felt that Kicco, although seemingly unassuming from the outside, was excellent for our early afternoon "pick me ups." I'd come back for the Cold Coffee Cream alone. read more

A little hidden behind tasty burger outside of north station but was new, bright and clean on the inside. My latte was delish but the surprising part was how good the croissants were! There isn't a place in the area right now for good breakfast pastries - great to have one now. Skip care Nero and Starbucks and come here instead. read more
