If you like hot pot you need to to try tasty pot. We ordered family style with a Thai pot, Spicy Taiwanese pot and a lamb pot. All three were very flavorful. What you can't see on the website is you can pick your spice level and as you eat they come by with more broth. There are also all sorts of add ons you can do. We probably ordered 10 add ons between the 3 pots, my husband loved the baby octopus. One area they do need to improve is the restrooms, the floors need a serious scrub down they were gross. read more

Enjoyed my udon noodles and ate it all. Just a tad salty. Toppings was just right and meat to noodle ratio was great. Waiter barely checked on us and was hard to wave down. After we paid (I never got change back) wasn't meaning to give a huge tip as 3 of us ladies in total left over 25 percent tip for barely any service. Not to mention the younger guy server was good but got scolded to check for what tip was left. Older lady working there was mean and rude. Definitely needs an attitude check. Pretty empty inside for dinner time. Would have liked an offer of spice to my dish. I believe my sister liked her hotpot. read more

My husband ordered takeout, and due to a language barrier or misunderstanding, we initially received the wrong items. However, the owner came out personally and quickly fixed the situation, which we truly appreciated. My husband was a bit upset with the server at first, but the owner's professionalism and great attitude really saved the experience. The food is always delicious and fresh, perfectly suited to our taste. We always order the lamb soup and pork skewers--they never disappoint. They also have a rewards program, which is a nice bonus. There is plenty of parking available, making it very convenient. Overall, we will definitely continue coming back. read more

Hotpot when the temperature is 100 in Temecula? Why not? As long as the AC inside is keeping the room temp at comfy 70s. Located in the back of a large retail plaza, the restaurant can accommodate around 60 people. Everything looks new, most likely it was opened recently. The ordering process can be done through QR code and it was quite easy. We ordered Taiwanese and Seafood. Both orders were ready in about 10 minutes and served in their individual pots and with underneath petite can heater to keep the pot hot. The seafood was full of items with lobster tail as the centerpiece. I first was kind of skeptical about the quality of the lobster tail since the price was quite reasonable. However, the lobster tail was quite tasty and firm meat. The broth was light and flavorful. The Taiwanese was also pretty good with variety of ingredients like fried tofu, meat, mushrooms, vegies and crabmeat. The restaurant is quite far from home but for sure I will stop by again when visiting the area again. read more

This was my first time at Tasty Pot Temecula, and I had a nice experience! From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed, and we were seated right away. Since I was new to the restaurant, the staff kindly explained the menu and how to order, which made the process really easy. The hot pot was delicious! There were plenty of options to choose from, including different meats, seafood, and vegetables, plus a range of spice levels to suit any preference. The portion size was very generous--I couldn't finish it all by myself! The broth was flavorful, and I loved the variety of ingredients in my meal. This is the perfect spot for a cold day, but I'd honestly come back anytime. They also offer appetizers and boba drinks, which is a great bonus. The restaurant is the middle of huge shopping center with Target. It is a little hard to find. Lots of parking spaces in front of the restaurant. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning! read more

Was greeted and helped immediately upon entering the place. Super clean and well maintained. Ambiance was relaxing and comfortable. I came in just for a couple appetizers and a drink. Absolutely delicious. Fried chicken dumplings were perfectly crispy and flavorful. Beef skewers were tender and slightly sweet. Kimchi was really tasty. I'll be coming back for the hot pot when the weather gets a little cooler. read more

2.5 stars. Best thing about the experience here was the staff was very sweet, attentive and helpful. The soup was good and portion was big. Biggest issues: The food wasn't seasoned all that well. The meat was pretty bland also. Half the stuff in my bowl I didn't even know what it was. read more

So after our second visit here we still LOVE the sizzling beef plate A+ with rice and we tried the thai soup which we loved the broth but next time we would like to get a vegetarian soup and the chicken skewers. The pork skewers were pretty good. The 720ml sake was perfect for 2. Sweet green on point. read more

My husband and I had to visit this new spot that I found while driving by it. So excited to have something like this in town. I ordered their beef bowl, it was very tasty and full of layers and layers of flavor. Super cut place, felt very cozy which made eating the soup that much more enjoyable. Service was great. Very friendly and quick b to get out orders. read more

Was excited to try this place but a little discouraged by the single serving hot pot concept (I prefer communal style). Tried the lamb hot pot and was throughly impressed! Very generous serving of meat and all the ingredients were so high quality--some of the best blood sausage and imitation crab I've ever had! They pack such a variety of ingredients it's like sifting through treasure. We also tried the popcorn chicken which was amazingly flavorful and fried with what I believe are tea leaves. Our party agreed we will never not get the popcorn chicken when we return. This is a hip, brightly lit placed well suited for lunch with friends. You scan and order through your phone so it's not a traditional restaurant experience. Strongly recommend this place if you're into Asian food (particularly Taiwanese style)--we're lucky to have this gem in Temecula! read more

It's hard to find a hot pot place in Temecula but this place knocks it out of the park! We found this place in one of Temecula malls, and immediately had to check it out. It's quaint inside, and smells amazing when you enter. Also plenty of parking outside. When we got inside the menu is split between side dishes and main hotpot's. For hotpot you get to pick a a combination, some are hot and spicy with seafood others are beef base with corn and veggies. The variety make it even better with these pre set hot pots. They bring out the hot pot and set it on the cooker and you add in the noodles and side bits you want. The rest is patience and magic. They also have some drinks and mixed saki drinks. The prices are very reasonable and the service is great, they also check on you for more broth and if you need anything. I highly recommend you check this hotpot place out! There aren't many up in Temecula but this place is easy one of our favorites! read more

So happy we have Tasty Pot in Temecula! I've been to Tasty Pot in SD and SF so I'm super excited that we have Taiwanese hot pot so close to home. Went on a weekday, so business seemed pretty slow, but service was great. Restaurant is clean and hip, so it's a great place for dinner or a hefty lunch. I've tried their sizzling rice places and beef hot pot and both are so good an on-par with the other Tasty Pot locations I've been to. Their boba tea is also so good and a great way to end your meal. Love that we can order from our phones as well! Very generous servings too :) I usually take my leftovers to-go and get two more meals out of it! read more

First time at this Tasty Pot. The restaurant is cute, clean, and inviting. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in. They have menus or you can scan a QR and order from their web site. Everything looked and sounded so good it was hard to choose. I ordered the hot beef bowl and it comes with a complimentary cup of sweetened green or black tea and rice or vermicelli. We also ordered the sizzling beef bowl and the kimchi soup. You can choose the spiciness level of the soup and I ordered medium and it was barely a little spicy so next time I'll definitely try hot. The food came out quickly and was delicious!! Service was great, they're all very attentive. I will definitely go back! read more

Reply to Management: The restaurant was COLD a few times I've been in when the weather was colder. I'm not over exaggerating. I can take the cold better than the vast majority of people here and don't wear jackets or sweaters when everyone else is wearing puffer jackets. That's me at work and in general all of the time here. I still can tolerate colder temps being from Chicago and have maintained the cold tolerance. It was COLD where I could tolerate on an as-needed basis, but it was extremely uncomfortable as a dining experience. I got the impression you were just saving money on your heating bill. The manager as I said, was almost shouting at me (not angry) with customers eating around him, and was frazzled and had a bewildered look on his face and in his posture, holding his hands out asking me what he should do to "not make me mad" - (maybe he's just gotten lots of complaints and felt overwhelmed), even though I wasn't angry and was speaking in a very calm tone and manner - I was seriously relaxed while he was frazzled. If you have cameras, you can take a look at the footage if you'll be honest with yourselves. He, as a manager had no idea how to handle it, and was asking for me to advise him when he should've known how to handle it professionally. I wasn't going to try to take advantage of his ignorance of how to handle it in the moment when he was asking me what he should do...and was hoping he'd figure out how to handle it properly. It was a screw-up on your part. The server told me he took everything down on the iPad, but the kitchen failed to follow through. You don't just give what you originally were supposed to at the end (dry noodles to take home) and not try to make up for the failure to follow through on a customer's simple requests that were approved with no hesitation. I would have handled it far more professionally if I were a manager, than that was handled. I would acknowledge and take ownership as a representative of the restaurant, and truly make it better, apologizing for our failure at proper service, and indicating your worth as a frequent customer...even if you were a first-time customer. These weren't one-off negative experiences. I've had a number of negative and even atrocious experiences here. No proper training, management, management of employees, a COLD restaurant, outrightly being repeatedly ignored, and outright disrespect. I've gotten the impression owners/ management do no care enough to provide anything close to an exceptional experience. I have only counted on a few select servers to provide such experiences. It comes down to how much the OWNERS care for a their customers and the level of integrity they hold, not a business just being about generating money. And it comes down to the extent of how involved owners are with their employees and their customers, and how much they illustrate they truly care for all of these people and the experiences they have at their establishment...not just defend themselves against any valid criticisms. I could've been a jerk and just given you 1 star, but I'm maintaining integrity and giving an honest assessment. I've enjoyed the food I've had...just not the failure to meet requests on it. These all and more are valid criticisms. The more successful you would be as a business if you only were to listen and absorb feedback and criticisms, implement changes, learn, and evolve...and not just justify your shortcomings and be defensive towards your patrons. It's not professional. As a business, you're providing a service to the public. If you fail at providing a high level of service to your patrons, you've failed at the core of the foundation of what your business is - customer service. It's far too rare of an experience to meet people of such levels of integrity around here. People do not generally care very much about others around here as I have found, and lack a level of integrity and mutual respect for one another. At least it's in line with the level of standards I've become familiar with around Temecula, the Inland Empire, & Southern California in general. You aren't out of place having your business here. Maybe you can change that and be one of the most exceptional ones though, and be an example to the rest of the businesses around here, and begin to create a much higher standard where far more pride could exist to make this place a far more desirable place to live. Just some suggestions on how you can look at it. At the core, we're all here to serve one another, and in saying these things, I'm serving you as a human being. It's up to you to take any of it or leave it all. If only everyone were to understand this fundamental human trait, we wouldn't have to quarrel so much and be in a much better place collectively. read more

This is more than food. This is an experience. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. There were so many flavors and textures that were new to me. It is clear that a great deal of time and thought is put into the preparation of each meal. On another note, the staff are friendly and attentive. We came in 1/2 hour before close and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We didn't get rushed or forgotten for a second. I make a mean pot of hot pot at home so I can be picky when it comes to hot pot joints. But my friends and I enjoyed Tasty Pot. I got the Taiwanese broth in mild. It was flavorful, & not too spicy. It had alot of different goodies in the soup. It had calamari, imitation crab, thin sliced beef, clams, tofu, fried tofu, fish cakes, fish ball with filling, blood cake, intestines, beef balls, ramen, mushrooms, cabbage, tofu skin, & a little bit of fatty cartilage. I'm usually not a fan of a few of these funky things. But everything was cooked perfectly, was melt in your mouth, & had no funky taste...so I ate it all. I loved the soybean dip for all the meats & veggies. Made everything even better. Lunch price for the hot pot was $20+ which comes with a complimentary free sweet tea & rice or vermicelli. My husband enjoyed his sizzling plate of pepper lunch dupe. I liked it too and stole a few bites. Our servers were awesome & kept checking in on us. Happy to have a decent hot pot joint in town. read more

We ordered the hot pot and the sizzling beef plate -- and let me tell you, the sizzling beef was a showstopper. You do have to cook it at your table (or risk turning it into beef jerky), but that just made us feel like Iron Chefs. We were legit fighting over it. So good. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor. Hot pot was solid too, but the beef stole the spotlight. Next time, we might just get two orders and avoid the chopstick duel. I was rather excited to try Tasty Pot as I have heard a lot of good things about this chain and wanted to see for myself how good it really is. While the interior was clean and the service was good, I ended up being sorely disappointed in the food. Initially I wanted to try the hot pot but when I saw that they had sizzling hot plate dishes I got extra excited since Pepper Lunch in OC is probably the closest place to get "DIY Teppanyaki". Admittedly, I am already a big fan of Pepper Lunch and Sizzling Lunch so I did try Tasty Pot with high standards. Unfortunately, I left Tasty Pot with NO taste in my mouth. Bland doesn't even begin to describe it. The garlic butter and black pepper sauce didn't taste bad...it just didn't taste like anything. Their chili oil was moderately spicy and had some flavor but I didn't use much because I still wanted to taste the food. Now that I think about it, I should have just covered the whole dish with the chili oil because at least I would have left with at least a bad taste in my mouth. read more
