Terrible! No one available to help you find anything in a store that's been completely rearranged. "It says we have six in the inventory, I don't know why you can't find it." Items I bought here for years can't be found. "So sorry, we've discontinued that item" Looking for kitchen trashcans, wrong lids are stacked with cans, can't find the right lids. Go to pay for cans that you THINK are $10, but the register says they're $18. And why does Target have a makeup chair?!! Read your room Target and quit trying to be more than what you were, a dependable family department store. You're not Macy's. And get rid of your autoflush toilets, they're a huge waste of water, shame on you, especially in California. read more

This is my go-to spot on the way home from work or after the gym. I like doing my basic grocery shopping here because the prices are always low and they sell my Light Vanilla Silk Soy milk. Typically if you go early enough in the week they'll still have most of the stuff on sale, but the later in the week you go, the more sparce the items are. Also I'm not a huge fan of the way the parking lot is set up there's only 2 ways out of the joint! read more

It really isn't rocket science but this store can't figure out long checkout lines may require opening up more REGISTERS!! When mid-day shoppers--mid-week are standing a dozen deep, something is wrong. They have plenty of "workers" who stand around and watch the lines grow. This plus the coming invasion by men into women's bathrooms may send Target the way of Mervyns and sports authority. Wake up, managers. What's the purpose of spending millions on advertisements to get shoppers in---but dropping the ball in getting payment!?! read more

I went christmas shopping for my younger sister and i bought her 2 nintendo games and spent 35 dollars and did not check to see if the cards where unlike normal gift cards where they didn't have a scratch off code. so when i proceeded to check out and not a self checkout the cashier did not inform that i needed to keep my receipt so now i have 2 pieces of useless paper because they where so ignorant to not tell. and even worse i payed with cash so i cant link my purchase to anything and my only option is to buy it again, so now i must sit around with a sad 10 year old sister because of a stupid mistake one of their employees. read more

I have stopped going to this Target as much as I once did. I rarely find what I need and most of the clerks seem to be clueless as to what they have in stock or not. Yesterday I tried to give it another chance. The women's bathrooms were dirty, urine on the toilet seats, no paper seat coverings in any of the stalls, etc. Once again I couldn't find Starbucks Cafe Verona Decaf and once again the clerk was clueless if any was in the back, when it was coming in, etc. Definitely, will stop supporting this San Ramon Target. read more

The pharmacy at this Target is horrible. They made my daughter go without pain medication for a broken collar bone because they refused to contact the doctor to confirm that date of the prescription. And they would help us at first because they were going on break. We will never go back. read more

Unfortunately this target just did a remodel and it's terrible. So confusing to shop and way to many walls and aisles, very confusing. They are always out of sizes in women's and children. I now go to Dublin one which is old model and has better stocked items read more

I used to love going to Target. it was my favorite store. not anymore. it's so unuser friendly. You have random things in each isle and section. Shoes in random areas. if you want womens cloths, there are multiple sections throughout the store NOT IN ONE area so you have to go from isle to isle from section to section with random items in between. I had a few things in my cart then thought forget this. I just left my cart and walked out the store. Target is no longer my favorite store and I won't be back. Ill just shop on Amazon instead read more

Eeewww what! That's about the customer service you will get here. So if your planning to come here thinking I can't it I'll ask someone - Nope ! That's not happening here. For some reason the employees think they are being paid to walk around pretending to be busy customers ‍ so they can avoid helping an actual customer. The remodel makes it look like a large floor but stuffs all over yup on the floor too , a very Walmart feel. read more

Haven't been in for awhile...really hate what they've done with the place (total remodel). It looks like Walmart. Can't find anything and no one to help me find anything. Appears that most of what I used to go there for is no longer...won't be back. read more

Trevor from electronics and customer service department so helpful they really went above and beyond

The prices in store are at least a dollar higher than their online prices. They also now charge a $1 bagging fee if you order online and pick up in store. Enough is enough. This review is about a very disappointing experience for disabled people. On May 3rd I had surgery on my right upper extremity because I had loss of function. Sunday, May 7th, I went to Target to restock some hygiene supplies for another week of rest and recovery at home. I was in lane 15 checking out when the line started to grow. The woman in front of me was starting to be helped when an employee came to open lane 14. To my surprise, he asked the woman behind me if he could help her and that he can take her in lane 14. I don't know why this happened but I was shocked and disappointed at several things. After I spoke with someone representing Target that same day, I learned that cashiers are supposed to take the next person in line when opening a new lane. So why was I not helped first? Why would Target skip over a disabled customer with one functional arm and the other in a cast? I don't know why and Target hasn't given any answers. I hope it wasn't because every other customer in line was white and I am not. I hope it isn't because Target employees and culture lack compassion to help fellow human beings with disabilities. I am also disappointed that the woman behind me didn't say anything and without hesitation drove her cart over to the next lane. That isn't Target's fault though. As an expecting father-to-be, what type of world am I bringing a child into when stores and people go about business with such insensitivity. Why would you not come up to the next person in line who is also disabled, ask me if you could help me on aisle 14, and then transfer my few items to your station because I have one functioning arm? I tried reaching out to Target again and the woman I spoke to could not find any record of my previous phone call or experience. AT&T has a record of the call. How does this appear? This time, the rep actually took some info, gave me a reference and claim number, and apologized. Does anyone know if Target could be in violation of Title III of the Americans with Disability Act? Or if racially motivated the Civil Rights Act of 1964? Has this happened to anyone else? read more

Oh Target Greatland in San Ramon, how I love thee! Let me count the ways! 1) Location: Close to where I live! 2) Size: It's huge! You can literally spend a whole lunch break walking through the store....I've done it. 3) Staff: Lots of staff. In every section of the store I always see at least someone cleaning the aisle or straightening the products. I also am asked at least twice how I am and I can be helped. 4) Supply: Except during the holidays, the shelves are well stocked and if something isn't on the shelf they almost always have some in the back. I never have had to visit another Target to get something I couldn't find here. 5) Parking: Good size lot for the store. Just be careful of the crazy drivers because people do go crazy for Target. 6) Remodel: It is still taking me some time to get used to but it's awesome what they have done to the inside. I do like the grocery area they have added which is great when you need to pick somethings up but don't want to make a huge grocery trip to Safeway, ect. I heart Target! read more

Don't do pick up orders from this target it is the biggest waste of time. I get to the desk and a woman named Debbie was grumbling to herself complaining that she had to help me and do her job?!! because no one else was around to get my order. Then someone else comes out and takes over, handing me my order which had one wrong item in it (an XL instead of a L). So I had to sit at the desk for TWENTY MINUTES while they brought out the correct size but after waiting that long I just asked her to take it off my order so I could just get the right damn size myself because apparently no one here is competent with the sticks up their asses. read more

Yesterday me and friends went it and one of my friends had a scooter and a female security guard told him not to ride so we listened and she followed us around like a hawk even when we sat down to have a drink she would stand right outside of the Starbucks waiting for us to leave, today we went back and she greeted us by saying "remember me same rules apply you ride that scooter you have to leave" and my friend said "last time I rode nobody said anything" then she asked us to leave and when we asked why she said I don't need a reason I can call backup if I need to and at that point we just left without complaints. I've never been disrespected like this before (to clarify we got a water from the Starbucks and we walking to get candy) TLDR; We we're informed of the rules listened and still got kicked out read more

Out of all the targets in the world, this is my FAVORITE one. Yes, it was the one I grew up with, as it opened when I was in elementary/middle school. But I have only seen one other target to be as baller as this target, and that is the two story target in ventura. ANYWAY, this is not your normal target. It's a Target GREATLAND so it's huge! And this includes the parking lot. Back in the day (gosh, I'm so old...),Target was the only store in this parking lot, so it was super easy to get parking. Even though there are TONS of shops here now, the parking is STILL really easy. My only complaint would be the amount of mommy's that drive suvs/hummers and don't know what they are doing. Oh well, that's what you get with living in the area. The actual store is GINORMOUS. Much bigger and better than most targets. Back in the day (yes, I said it again! :D), it used to be a normal Target, but now it includes a rather large grocery section as well. And did I mention it's very clean and offers a nice selection? What I love a lot about this target is their food court, which offers the normal target food court food, pizza hut, AND starbucks. I've eaten at both and the food quality is just as good as the real thing. In my most recent trip to Target, I had to return something after Christmas. Of course, I was horrified that I had to do this because EVERYONE is returning stuff at this time of the year, but this Target made my life 182039123 times easier. I literally walked up to the counter (no line by the way), told the guy I wanted to return one item and get credit on a giftcard, while simulatenously returning another item and getting credit back on my brother's credit card. Well, he literally did this in 30 seconds, no joke. !?!?! Honestly, this is my favorite Target ever. I always get nice service, I feel comfortable and safe, I know I'll be able to find things (despite it being freaking huge), I know parking won't be hideous, I know if I'm hungry I'll have some good food selections, and I know if I need to make a return, it will be hassle free. I wish all Targets were like this location :) read more

Came here the day after Valentines. I was so excited. Not only did I save a ton of money the day before by being single but all of that money can go to clearance candy! I was about to make it rain Reese's Pieces and Twix and wait, another 5% off on top with my red card? Woooo wee! Power walked my way to the back to make good time against shoppers who were distracted by their little kids. I was hauling and as I turn the corner, I can't wait to get my 50% off candy and I see the sign, "30% off." What the f_ _ k happened? I got all sassy thinking to myself "hell naw where's my other 20% you thieves???" That lasted about 10 seconds because I still bought the candy. Protip: Download the cartwheel app on your phone. A lot of products are on there and usually get you a 5% discount which adds up. I bought a $900 tv and the 10% off electronics really made a dent on the final price. I grew up in the San Ramon Valley and this was my go to place as a kid and in high school. The place is HUGE, everything is neat and tidy, staff has always been pleasant and they rarely run out of sale items. read more

Bad Bad Bad.... The retunn policy is the worst on the plannet. I had a defective game that wouldn't play on the PS3, they accused me of buying it to copy the game. They gave so much resistance to taking it back that they ended up calling the police to have me escorted out of the store. Of course I was furious at them for accusing me of piracy. This is not the way to treat your customers. I will NEVER shop at anything Target related ever again. I still have the defective game and out the $49.00 Not to mention being embarased by the police escort. I highly recommend shopping Walmart or other local stores than giving this P.O.S. store any business. read more

I'm disappointed for the first time since I've been shopping Target. Not because of the staff. Not because of the selection. Not because of the store itself. THE PRICES HAVE SKY ROCKETED! It's like they have new management, or some sort of new policy. I felt like they used to be the starting place to shop, and whatever I couldn't find there, then pay the higher price elsewhere, or wait. I'm not sure when it started, but sine the new Sprouts store opened in Dublin, it became more apparent. Clearance items of 30% off at Target were still higher than Wal-mart's everyday price. I'm no longer a loyal customer. read more

Consistently poor customer service, especially in the video dept. No one is willing to help or seemingly around even though they are employees everywhere. Disappointing. read more

This is my absolute favorite Target store ever! I shop here 2-3 times a month because: 1) This Target is huge. 2) The store is always clean and well kept. 3) The customer service is excellent. 4) Merchandise is always in stock. 5) Great location (same shopping center as Whole Foods). 6) Extended store hours. 7) Available pharmacy. 8) Large grocery section. 9) Plenty of parking. 10) Cashiers always give me bag credit when I bring my re-useable bags. read more

Of all the Targets stores I have patronized at in the Bay Area, the Target Greatland in San Ramon is by far the best one. The shopping experience here is so enjoyable that you can easily become a hardcore shopaholic! I had lots of fun strolling through this spacious store and checking out the stuff sold here. This Target Greatland should become the standard not only for other Target stores but also for Wal-Mart stores to attempt to duplicate. Maybe because this Target Greatland is situated in an affluent area, this store carries a huge selection in everything from clothes to electronics to a great food court that includes a Starbucks. There is also a large grocery section in this store. Best of all, this store has roomy aisles, is well stocked, is well organized, and is very clean. The same accolade could be said about the parking lot area, there are ample parking spaces even when this shopping center is most busy. Very soon I will need to think of a reason to come back to this Target store! read more

Can't think of anything to say that hasn't already been said...it is a nicer Target - I find myself judging Targets by how organized and spacious their women's apparel section is. This one is pretty well organized and stocked with sizes, but smaaaalllllll. And I think their athletic section is smaller than average. There never seems to be a problem getting a check out lane that has little to no wait. Starbucks inside (now standard). Bathrooms are clean. I think their grocery section is pretty great, too. Biggest con is the parking lot. eeeeyaaauck. read more

Easy to navigate store, wide aisles, it's Target, what's not to like? The checkstands often are appropriately staffed, so I get out pretty quickly. The only downer were the ladies in the dressing room; what a bunch of complaining, miserable job hating people. They really were not welcoming or pleasant, and kvetched about their jobs the entire time I was trying on clothes. You work at Target, not digging ditches, it can't be that bad! read more

Keep me away from this Target! My Mom lives a mile away from it so when I come here, it usually means I am relaxing with Mom and in a good mood....which equals spending more then I should! ;) Great location and great store that is spacious and has a nice grocery section. read more

Okay, this is my favorite Target. The parking lot can get kinda packed but it never feels very busy inside? I love it! It's got typical Target items but this Target carries the biggest Hanukkah section I've ever come across in a Target. I've been to many others and checked out their offerings and they pale in comparison to what this one offers. Only four stars because the check out lines are always unnecessarily slow. Small price to pay for a clean, well-stocked, mostly dead, Target! read more

I thought I reviewed this target before, guess not. This is my go-to Target. I frequent this place about once a month to stock up on essentials like, soap, detergent, dvds, toothpaste, etc. I would have given 5 stars today but I had a bad customer rep (cashier) that had some sort of "I hate my job" attitude. After scanning some of my stuff he started tossing my TP in my cart very rudely, I stopped him on his next throw. After everything was scanned and bagged this dipshit leaves the remaining 3 bags near him while my wife handed him a couple coupons and to give us a total. Normally every store I do business with scans all items, bags them and then has them prepared for the customer to grab. The last part would be to scan coupons and give us the total. I reach over to grab one bag, he says " hold on, hold on" in a rude and condescending way. I say "WHAT?!" - he says, "you'll rip it if you do it that way, I'll do it"......I say "ok", and said to myself instead of causing a scene - If you weren't so F#$#?! SLOW I'd have this stuff in the cart already dumbass. Learn your job correctly & have a little more professionalism when you speak and interact with your clients shit for brains! I promise to give this Target 5 stars next time I'm here just as long as I don't have that same MF helping me again. read more

Target San Ramon operate poorly when you become handicap and you need a wheelchair access cart to get your shopping done. They had two electric wheelchairs available and both didn't work for the 6 times I visited. Management said sorry and gave me a number to call. When I did call, it took 10 minutes to get through and no progress ever took place in the store. Sadly, I've brought my business elsewhere. It's a shame people bring so much profit and they make so many sad excuses why they are not to blame. read more

You know what to expect when you come to Target. Yes, this is a "greatland" Target, but it mostly just seems like the aisles are more spread out than that they have more merchandise. I'm also not crazy about how their women's clothing section is laid out compared to other Targets (such as Dublin and Livermore). It's pretty cramped. So if you live near another Target, I wouldn't really bother making a special trip to come here because I'm almost positive you'll find all the same stuff at your home store (thought it's possible this location might have a larger food section ... ). But just like any Target, they sure do have a lot of useful (and useless) stuff. You know how it goes. It's almost impossible for me to come here without buying something, even if I thought I needed nothing (and was only going along with someone else). I will give them props though for carrying a "Dirty Dancing" shirt that says "Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner" on the back. SO awesome. For $9.99, I couldn't NOT get it. read more

One of the best things about moving to the 'Burbs? Having a fabulous Target not far from my house! And this is a swanky one! And the worst thing? Store employee's allow dogs ( non service) to walk around this store where food is sold. Employees don't care that this is again FDA regulation. I am a responsible dog owner and would never take my pet into a place where food is sold. I won't be using Target again. The Food and Drug Administration's Food Guide lays down the law: with few exceptions, live animals of any kind are not permitted on the premises of a grocery store, a restaurant or other food establishment. The prohibition applies to dogs, cats, birds and other animals. Animals are unsanitary, and the law protects the national food supply from contamination from dog drool, urine, feces and other material that dogs carry on their coats and paws and might leave behind on store shelves or counters. read more

The San Ramon Target is one of the biggest and best Target around. It has wide aisles, well stocked and lots of check out stands open.

This Target is convenient to stop at during the work week or if I happen to be at the nearby gym. I find their selection and inventory to be on par with most Targets. Their clothing section is a bit superior to that of the WC Target with more sizes and general availability of styles in the clearance section. It's your run of the mill Target and serves the area just fine. Minus one star, though, because they are consistently understaffed. I've been here after work, when lets face it, everyone else is shopping, with just two registers open and lines wrapping around the front section. Don't even bother with their Starbucks-they frequently run out of basic ingredients and often have one person taking orders and making beverages at the same time. Throughout this all, I have to say, their employees are wonderful. Despite being overloaded and beleaguered, they still manage to be friendly and helpful to the customers. Management, you have some great staff here-treat them better and get them some help! read more

Well... as you can tell from the badge stamped by my name I'm a regular here... So obviously I love Target... What's so great about this particular one? well it's always neat, organized, well stocked, they have friendly personnel, and their clothes are trendy and reasonable. This target is called "Greatland" because its HUGE!!! Actually funny story....being that I dont enjoy going to the gym, my girlfriend at the time (now fiance) would go to target in the winter two nights a week to get our exercise on! Being that this SR target is so fricken huge we would walk laps inside when it was raining or too cold to walk around the neighborhood. I think we figured out that 6 laps around equals a mile. (Yes its that big!). And whats even better is that you can have Starbucks while you're walking and you can check the scores of the game when you're walking by the electronic section! read more

I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when I discovered a Target Greatland here in the Bay Area. I'm a Minnesota girl, and being as Target is based in Minneapolis, I grew up living and breathing all things Target. And I'm used to the Greatlands and the SuperTargets back in Minnesota. Minnesotans-- they're so spoiled with all their awesome, big Targets! Anyway. I love Target, and this one is spectacular. This store is laid out JUST like the one I frequented (almost daily) back home... so I knew right where to go for what I needed. They've got everything you could possibly need here! AND-- the best part-- I was stopped twice by employees who asked me (very nicely!) if they could help me find anything. (!!!) You don't get that kind of service at the ol' Livermore Target, that is for sure. I think I must've done something right, to be 'gifted' with the discovery of a Target Greatland so close to home! read more
