This is a review for the Poway Target Mobile Center. Worst experience ever. I would give it negative stars if I could. They sold us 2 defective phones and then when we returned them they did not return our upgrade. Been without a phone for three days now because of them. The lady helping us was completely useless and knew nothing about anything. We sat there for over 3 Hours! Her name is Lisette. Avoid her and that mobile center if you can. read more

I only gave this place two stars because I usually love Target. But service here sucks. I truly want to give them one star. I asked for a gift receipt twice when I was being rung up because my whole purchase were gifts. The cashier even made of comment saying that I had a lot of gifts (toys). The cashier forgot and then went to try and print receipts and says "I can't scan the receipt to give you gift receipts can you go to the next cashier." I go only to wait 10 minutes behind someone who has a ton of stuff only for that cashier to say "I can't do that here, can you go to customer service". I look over at customer service and there are 6 people in line. I just left thinking "if only the original cashier was listening to me and printed gift receipts". I hope all the kids like these gifts because they aren't going to be able to return them. read more

Normally a fun stop, but today our cashier Jackie thought it would be fun to play with the conveyor belt even after I told her to stop. My items were crashing into the items of the customer being taken care of at the time. I started removing my items since we realized we forgot something and once again I had to tell her to stop. She laughed and I'm not sure why. Was she bored? When I came back to the check stands I made it a point to avoid her register. Thank goodness Maria was courteous and professional. I love this Target. When I lived in RB, I would be here weekly, sometimes bi or tri weekly. Was in my old hood today so thought i would swing by before heading home. I'm glad I did because this target is so much better than the one that's close to home. First, their dollar area has so many great items, especially for stocking stuffers. They're childrens clothing area is bigger than the one by home. They have lots of registers open, so although it seems crowded, you rarely have to wait and you can get in and out fast (most of the time). Parking is crowd, so be prepared to wait for a spot for some time...even for parking that's far away. Found giant plastic boxes that we needed for storage. We were also looking for lunch pails, which we found but were overpriced. We went to the electronics section and were looking for a keyboard for our IPad 7's, but no luck. In the electronics section it was very bare, they were out of a lot of accessories. One thing that was convenient is that it had a Starbucks in it, which we took full advantage of. read more

Went to this Target today was asking to do a price match on one of the Blu-Ray DVD combo. Clerk at customer service won't even do a price match after I showed her the printed ad. So ask one of floor supervisor (Tianna) showed her the ad still wouldn't do it. So what's the price guarantee can't even back it up. Service at this store sucks! My service dog and I were rudely told to leave the store by Travis T, this Poway store's Executive Team Leader. I initially was questioned by the door greeter which I confirmed my dog is a service animal and this greeter rolled his eyes at me in disbelief. My dog is 9lbs which can be hard for someone to understand. However, ADA is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination based on disability and they didn't limit what size a service animal has to be so long as it can perform a task. I let the eye rolling go. My dog then had an accident which I immediately cleaned up his poop pebbles and went about my shopping. It wasn't long until Travis came up behind me and said I had to leave the store. He then further commented that an emotional support dog isn't qualified as a service dog. I was perplexed as I had already identified my dog as a service animal and asked Travis why he was lecturing me about an emotional support dog. Travis then switched gears and said my dog and I had to leave regardless because it was causing a disturbance. I asked him to clarify what he deems as disturbance and he said things such as barking and reminded me my dog had an accident in his store. I told him my dog wasn't barking and I immediately cleaned up his mess. Other customers also came up to me after the fact and commented on how cute my dog is and wanted to pet him. Travis said it doesn't matter and I needed to leave according to Target's policy. I feel the door greeter and Travis have it in their minds to disqualify my dog as a service animal based on his appearance. It is further substantiated when Travis laid in on me about an emotional support dog and was literally lecturing me that it's not one of the same as a service animal. As a disabled vet with a service animal, I've never been treated this poorly elsewhere. I then asked Travis for his supervisor and he snapped back stating he's the store manager. I tried asking again for a person above him which he still refused to answer. In the end, he gave me his card and emphasized how the buck stops with him as the store manager and snarkily said for me to call 1800 Target if I want further resolution. I did call the central Target number to report this incident and learned it's not a common Target practice to pass judgment and discriminate against ADA ruling. read more

The fresh grocery is awesome! Since San Diego itself doesn't have any Super Targets, this is an awesome alternative and near the size! I found groceries for cheaper than Albertsons, Ralphs, etc. Its a definite better deal to get groceries here. :) Can't wait until they add the Pizza Hut and SBux in after the holidays. Only thing that isn't as great at this store is the parking lot situation...but other than that, its awesome!!! read more

Went to buy dish soap and bread. Decided to pick-up additional items, two Rubbermaid to-go containers and two baby lotion. Only two registers were open and the lines for both was getting longer. This is a great target location. It has a big parking lot and there's many great wares inside. I especially like the $1 shelves at the very front of the store. It would be nice to have more checkout lines open sometimes and I really would like to see more dish gloves at the store. They didn't have any large or extra large ones. Us dudes do dishes too! Went here for a belt and found some hidden treasures on the clearance rack. Got two shirts for 4 bucks. You really can't beat Target when they have a clearance sale. Clothes for 30- 75% off. I also enjoy the rest of the store. Great prices on child's clothes. Good stock of items. Customer service is usually pretty good. read more

This Target is continually out of stock. When I asked a store person where to find an item today she looked at me and said, "I don't know." I waited a minute hoping she would come back with a helpful suggestion and when she didn't I asked if she could call someone or ask someone. Pretty sucky experience here on Saturday morning. Picked a cashier with shortest line, MISTAKE, line was short because people were moving to other lines, it was taking so long to clear a customer, still I waited patiently. First off, she had me scan my Drivers license for a six pack of beer. What's this, all my personal information to Target in exchange for beer, you have got to be joking, what are you thinking? At pay time, I swipe my card, done right? No, then have to key in my 16 digit card number, done right? No, now the expiration date, done right? No, now my security code, must be done now right? No, after dicking around more, she hands me a slip and tells me must go somewhere else to pay. Technology is supposed to make things easier not more difficult. I could have pulled out three bills, got a receipt and been on my way in two minutes, instead of wasting time. read more

This target theres no people to help, I see some of the employees taking long brakes, and always in the starbucks, tables. we tried to get help to find a product and there was no one, after a long time we had a not a good employee help, she didnt even try to help just said were out, didnt even pretend to look, we found it 15 mins ltr ourselves, then you hear the employees talking bad about the guests in the starbucks, not nice. Target is always a great place to shop when you need to find something for around the house. The prices are cheap and they are always stocked with the name brand items. I love looking through the DVD's, but I have noticed that their selection has changed to all Blu-Ray. I guess it is time I buy a BluRay DVD player or a PS4?!! read more

Very busy Target, I wonder if it's because it's close to all the hotels near DL? Anyhow, being an avid Target shopper, this Target was like the others but filled with families that look like they were stocking up on goodies for the next day!
