She was very helpful and opened up an avenue to purchase custom furniture from an artist based upon a few items I had seen in the store. I ended up buying two pieces in the store and 2 more were custom made by the artist. Not only do they consign used pieces, they bring in local artists and artisans to showcase and sell their pieces as well. Participating in their first Art Showcase with my photography, a lamp designer extraordinaire and succulent plant specialist (only an interior designer would bring our wandering souls together)... Not only was the "Art Show" a huge success (sold a few pieces) but they continue to sell pieces...this artist loves receiving the consignment checks from DCG. Very professional. Incredible selection that changes almost daily! Prices beat any other consignment store that I've visited in all of San Diego County. Pieces that fit any style you're looking for. Design Consignment Gallery has a great selection of just about everything you could possibly need to complete a room. I was looking for an oversized chair and ended up buying a sectional. Rachel was very helpful, walking me through the whole place, showing me other options without any pressure.
