This is a great shop with an eclectic selection of items from small to large. They have nice furniture pieces and lots of good decor pieces to fit a variety of styles. I hate when a shop has only one type of antiques and that is definitely NOT the case here. I got a great deal on the item I ended up with and will definitely be back when it's time to furnish our next home. read more

A friend took me into this absolutely adorable shop. There is a great selection of antique and vintage pieces. Some are for sale, others you can rent to stage an event. I love this shop. There is off street parking, so don't let the area scare you off, you will find parking. Prices are good and the owner is the sweetest. Definitely worth popping in to check it out. read more

I was out looking for bookends. Not because I have many leather bound books (I do not), I have about 10 books sitting on a cabinet in my living room because I'm trying to appear trendy, okay!? I was greeted by Olive, who happens to be one of the sweetest and goodest doggos I've ever met. Then was helped by Steven, and given a little tour of all the things his place has to offer. I definitely got distracted by the records and walked in circles about five times before I had decided that I was unable to decide on anything that might work for what I wanted. So I walked away with only two records, though real excited about both. I'll come back soon enough, because there was still so much left to explore. read more

I have visited this store multiple times over many months time. It's a fascinating array of items with great potential. Many of the items are not priced which I do find bothersome. However, the most irritating thing is that almost every time I visit, when I take the unpriced item to inquire about price and to pay, I am told that the item is not for sale! WTF ??? You have got to be kidding me. So you basically are running a touch but don't buy flea market museum. I work in retail and EVERYTHING is ALWAYS for sale !!! Otherwise why is it taking up space on the shelf? So just prepare to be disappointed and don't get your heart to set on walking away with much from this apparently faux business establishment. read more

Had exactly the dining table we were looking for and found a living room end table that went great without our coffee and existing end table, AND THEN two night stands that are gorgeous! Our trip got us three updated rooms, well more organized in our new place, and for the old school quality that you certainly CANNOT find at places like IKEA. Thank you so much! P.S. I visited Reusable finds on Sunday, THey were sponsering a popup craft fair. There were 4 venders there which was strange, because the entire block was sectioned off. Reusable Finds has a large yard with all kinds of cool stuff and the interior was full of good stuff too. I asked about several items and was told "No thats not for sale..." " I'm going to use that at my house someday." Another response was" No I use that for staging". I'm not planning to go back, Whats the point.. read more

This place is a gem! I wish I had more time to check it out. I found this place due to a free item listed on Craigslist. I'm not sure if that was the owner's intent but if it was, GREAT MARKETING! He posted the address on Craigslist and when I showed up, it turns out it was a company with a bunch of reusable items (clocks, ladders, wheelbarrows, decor) so while I showed up for a free item, if I wasn't on my lunch break, I 100% would have spent hours digging and finding amazing pieces. Now that I know it exists, I will be returning! read more

Place is good if you're ready for a hunt. The items are all stacked or crammed into a warehouse so you need to be cautious when trying to maneuver through the piles. Owner collects a lot of items but it's hard to find good pieces as the layout is very disorganized and stuffy. Unwilling to negotiate and prices are pretty high considering the quality of items/difficulty of searching through the area. I do not plan on returning unfortunately as the place has potential. read more

We bought a very nice wood and glass curio cabinet. Virginia gave us a great price, and even took the extra steps to give it a nice distressed wood look. This shop in a warehouse has SO much potential, however I replaced the leather belt strap that I"d planned to repurpose and left without making any purchases due to frustration. EVERYwhere my son & I walked the store clerk (owner?) intercepted us with statements of "This area is closed!", "That's my work table!" "That's not for sale.", "Those are my personal items from home.", "That's used for storage." She's a collector, not a salesperson. I won't return. read more

I can't say enough good things about my experience here! We stumbled on the store by accident while looking for another thrift shop and furnished our entire bedroom and dining area (plus some) for about $500! Sooo many unique pieces and you can truly tell that the owners love their place, we dubbed them "hoarders with a purpose" because they have anything you could imagine/want tucked away somewhere in that warehouse! The service was unbelievable even though there were other customers in the store, and we found so many things we needed and so many things we didn't know we needed until we saw them. Bonus points for selling us unfinished furniture and teaching us how to paint it! We turned it into a fun project and now our home is custom, perfect, and full of newly reused finds :) read more

Super friendly and great variety of goodies, which for obvious reasons is constantly changing. Perfect reason to keep coming back to see what is new! While it is the perfect place to dig for unexpected treasure, budget enough time to look around. The new location is great, the place is huge! I stop in on a regular basis to see what is new in their inventory. If you looking for shabby chic this is the place to go or buy something and do it over yourself. They have a new line of stains and paints I am looking forward to trying. The best part they are keeping stuff out of the landfill and giving old products a new life. Not sure where they get their finds but they have some great ones. I wish I had never become involved with this company. They did not finish the job and things "disappeared" from my home. Steve came to my home and promptly declared everything to be of little to no value. When I decided to keep 2 tv consoles which he had told me no one uses anymore, he seemed miffed. A box I was packing for my niece ( which I had asked him not to touch) disappeared. Steve and his helper were the only people in the house other than myself and my son. They even took landscape plants ( I caught them with some). They never came back to "clean up." read more

My husband and I attended the Grand Opening at Stephen and Virginia's Reusable Finds new location on Custer Street. They had a great turn out, with food, an ice cream truck, Coffee and Expresso by Eurobar, a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony by the San Diego Chamber of Commerce, live music and lots of other fun activities. Their new facility of 5,000 plus sq. ft. now gives them plenty of room to show case so much more of the fun and interesting finds and collectibales that they offer. I can easily spend hours walking around this store finding so many unique items that can be used to furnish our home. I love this place, Stephen and Virginia are great. We highly recommend them and their store for any or all of your decorating needs! read more

We visited their new store on Custer Street this past weekend from a friend's recommendation and and were amazed by their large inventory of unique and out of the ordinary items on display. This is not your ordinary second hand store for sure. Prices are fair and our friend says they are always adding to their collection so we visit again.
