Well overall the store is nice, after the new refresh they had on the store. . But some of the employees like to profile here and that's not okay. I always have the same issue when I come here and it only gets worse every time. Today was enough, I was literally being followed by some Older woman that works their , assuming she thought I was going to steal. When I got ready to pay at self check out, guess who showed up out of the blue. That older woman, I will definitely be back to the store , to get that ladies name. To top it all off, I was randomly selected to get asked "if I had a receipt with my purchase" . I gladly gave her my receipt and asked her if I was the only one that was going to get their receipt checked . She nodded yes and I asked her why. She had no answer , I felt very disrespected and embarrassed. I will never ever come back here . read more

I just felt compelled to recognize the manager Alma, the security manager Armando (Maybe?) and team member Annette (I think!) I was in the store this morning and had a sort of creepy experience-- I had been casually doing my shopping when I realized there was a man who appeared to be homeless following very closely behind me. I was spooked and felt he was following me waiting for a chance to grab my purse from the cart. As soon as I noticed him I alerted a team member who showed a great sense of urgency and went immediately to help resolve the situation. Whether she went to look for him herself or went to alert management and security I don't know, but I felt better already seeing that she was right on it. I finished my shopping, checked out and left to run another errand. Since I was still feeling a bit shook up, I thought it best to return and let a manager know what happened. Upon reentering and asking for a manager, I was able to approach the store manager right away. She was very welcoming and professional and showed genuine concern for me and my safety. She reassured me and introduced a gentleman from the security team (Armando I think?) who also demonstrated that they had been immediately notified of the situation and had asked the individual who had been following me to leave. They also reassured me by answering questions and letting me know that this sort of thing is extremely rare at this location. I felt a little silly being so shook up by it, and going back to tell someone what happened, but I was VERY pleasantly surprised by their professionalism and how they reassured me about what happened and their quick actions to resolve the situation. This store has never been one of the beautifully curated Targeta but it has really gone down hill. Today every aisle has things thrown around and knocked over. If I could leave a ZERO rating i would do it !!! Of all the other credit cards I have JC Penney's, Kohl's. Sears. etc. NOT one of them BULLY you into BUYING something like TARGET DOES !!!!!!! I got a letter from them today saying if I didn't BUY SOMETHING SOON ............ they were going to CLOSE my account !!! I charged something to my card about 3 months ago but that's not good enough for them !!!!!! This is the ONLY retailer that does this kind of BULLYING that I know of !!!! This Target is kind of pathetic! My kids love a Target but they've never been to the one in LaQuinta, there is not much I can say good about it except I would rarely shop here but the parking is pretty good right out front. I haven't found much there that would make me want to go back and help there is not great. read more

This Target is the most convenient to where we live . But unfortunately there check out conditions are horrible they have 10 lanes and one open, they want you to check out yourself and those rarely go smooth ,, bad customer service believe me robots will be doing their jobs shortly so then they wont have to be bothered to work at all ,,, every once in awhile you get help but it's really rare and honestly they could care less if you bring it up to any of them they just look smug xx oo well read more

Target has always been a great place to shop, but lately the clothes are getting so weird. When this used to be a staple for me to buy my 4 kids some clothes, it is either super inappropriate or $45 for a pair of basic pants. I get inflation, but seriously? This has stopped being a "family friendly" store and has started to feel like they are raising prices to compete with bigger stores. read more

This store has seriously gone down hill. I went this past weekend and I have never been more disappointed. There is literally nothing to shop for, I'm going for meat, THERE IS NO MEAT! I go for bread, THERE IS NO BREAD! But you know what they do have? Huge messes everywhere. It's like they only order when things are empty, but not enough to keep the store running on a daily basis. The managers need to know their customers and their expected sales to order appropriately, it's disappointing to make the drive and find nothing. I even saw a can in a cart dripping juice all over the floor, the quality is unacceptable anyone can fall and hurt themselves, what about customer safety! They need to either hire more people or give them more hours, or both because this store needs help. read more

This location has really gone downhill over the past few months. Today was icing on the cake...such a mess. Clothes on the floors, totally disorganized if they even made it on the shelf. Shoes everywhere, not on the shelf, not in their boxes. Aisles blocked because of all the mess. Even had a friend send me pictures of multiple French baguettes that were covered in mold. Their employees standing around, chit chatting and not giving a care in the world. I will have to bring my business elsewhere, unless they shape up this store. read more

This Target is okay, not really my favorite.. But I really do like how close it is to me. I'm only giving this Target 5 stars for the Pharmacy. The pharmacy staff are so helpful and incredibly nice. They never hesitate to answer any of my questions and are so personable. I only go to this pharmacy now for my prescriptions! I don't know what some of the reviews are saying by the pharmacy people being rude.. I've never had an experience where the pharmacy employees being anything less than helpful and nice. Maybe they were being rude to them and that's why the employees were being rude, you get what you give. read more

I cannot believe how big this store is. I only wish I had a better experience shopping there. Other Target stores get 5 stars usually. But at this store the team members just did not seem dedicated or committed to good customer relations. I went to customer counter and told them I was here to pick up an item another Target store had called ahead for me to pick up. The employee did not bother to look for it nor ask me questions to expedite my order. After 5 minutes of being ignored I approached another team member and told them I was here to pick up an item After 5 minutes of explaining my reason for being there, she called someone on the floor to get my item. After another 5 minutes of waiting someone showed up with my item but they brought the wrong color. I asked him if they had my color in the section and he did not know what colors. I had to walk to back of store and pick up the item myself. I'm thankful this is not my local store. read more

Took my daughter there Saturday and the ladies department was a disaster. Looked like a tornado came through... clothes all over the place and NOT where they belonged..the purses were also a mess..."when I mentioned it to the checkout person they were concerned but told me everybody quit and there was only one floor person for the whole store! I ordered a pickup order. I got the email that it was ready for pickup. I went I. To pick it up and the girl and the counter could not be bothered with helping me. No one was in line. When she finally did, she slowly went to look for my pickup and couldn't find it she said it was on the other side of the store and I'd have to wait til the other girl came back. What? Im a big target fan but this target just wasn't cutting it. The shelves were empty , and two lanes open and self check outs closed??? As a vulnerable senior citizens we go out of our way to delay or schedule our shopping to hours posted for our population. We got up early to take advantage of the special hours posted on Target's web site. Upon arriving we saw that they were letting anyone who showed up (and a lot of young people did) in to shop during their posted special hour. I asked the man at the door if they had special hours and he replied that they are letting anyone who shows up in to shop. We really don't care if they have special hours or not but we made a special effort to take advantage of their posted hours. Target is usually a pretty good store but we have lost all confidence about Target's concern for our safety. read more

I always compare most stores to Target and it's a little unfair since this particular Target is the friggin best! At least in my opinion. It's always stocked up with everything I need anytime I need it. I'm guilty of being one of those go in for one thing I need and leave with fifteen things I didn't need kind of people. I do agree with some of the reviews that state that there needs to be more cashiers open for checkout during busy hours, but for the most part, it never takes too long or anything. I was at the La Quinta Target today making a return. Yesterday I noticed that a few customers did not have masks on. Plus the customers were not following the 6 feet distance. In the store there are signs in the shoe area "Not to try shoes on". I passed multiple women trying on shoes??? Really. Today, I asked the sales associates about both of these problems. She said the masks are now voluntary not mandatory. Last I checked in our county masks were mandatory for store associates . Due to the situation I will not go back to this store. Thank you very much Target for not watching out for our safety. Obviously you don't care about our safety or our business. read more

Though this store in La Quinta is better that it previosly had been, the customer service is awful. We had a pickup order and two items we paid for were missing. So, I called the store. Big mistake. I had to listen to a general annoucement lasting 2 minutes IN BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH. No "press 2 for Spanish" at Target. Finally there was a prompt for the order and pick up department. Of course it rang for 4 minutes and no one answered. Target stores in the Midwest are MUCH more professional. read more

Compared before the renovation looks and is more organized now, in the past year the store look exactly like Fallas and I didn't like to go cuz of that reason. I think the managers are doing a good job, but I know they can do better cuz on Christmas eve the toy section was a little messy. They should focus more in ZONING and NOT PUSHING all the merchandise to the sales floor, that can be more helpful for the guest when they try to look for something. read more

The new store manager called me and we had a lengthy and helpful conversation. She is just back from a long store manager training course. She is well aware of the problems. So is Target management. The former store manager , who was greaqt, Jen Olson, is now the district manager. Get this: this store increased sales 38% in one year. Get this too: In July the store will undergo a major renovation and update. Target corporate is putting money and training into this location. It will take time to get a new team trained and working together. The parking lots will be cleaned and the sidewalks will be rid of old gum. Garbage receptacles will be in the parking lots which will help a lot. I am willing to give the new store manger some time. She knows the problem and she is going to try to tackle it. That is no easy challenge in overcoming the culture of this store, which has gone down hill. I wish her all the best. My aim is to have a good Target store. This store had gone downhill in the last year. The store is filthy and so are the bathrooms. The shelves are empty while boxes are sitting in the isles not being stocked. There seems to be a lot less employees now. Used to be a nice store to shop. It looks like it's going to close down. It will be a long time before I shop here again, if ever. read more
