They have a lot of neat things. This dollar tree seems to have a better selection. Alot of arts and craft stuff.

I bought birthday cards. That was perfect. It was great for the money. The staff was ok.

So happy to finally have a Daiso here in the desert! It's like a cuter, more fun, bit more costly…read morebut still way reasonable dollar store. They sell soo many things, it can be overwhelming to see everything you need packaged so cutely or in a cuter form than what you'd traditionally use. Clunky box cutter? No need, I now have a cute kitty with a fish box cutter that can be put on a fridge...I also got the cute sitting bear mini box cutter. Just sits there all unBEARably cute & unassuming until a package arrives, then it's all business! Hehehe Daiso sells a wide array of affordable household goods, stationery, beauty supplies, snacks, etc. Things like kitchenware, storage solutions, crafting supplies, party supplies, bento boxes, chop sticks and seasonal decorations. Also, beauty supplies that you can't find other stores. When you walk in there, you feel like you're on a fun treasure hunt... Like literally I walk down almost every aisle on my first trip and it was a little overwhelming because I kept finding things that I had in my mental list that I needed and now I can check off that list freeing up mental space... :-) So, I like to come in here for some of the snacks and sparkly beverages... I love the Yuzu Water but the price is higher than other waters and sodas. I still buy it, feels like a refreshing luxury to sip on. They also have POG in one can. LOL Usually, I'd have to buy it as separately as Passion Orange & Guava and mix them. Just go and check them out...They're always mixing it up in there. The service has been nice & helpful no weird attitudes. Why buy ugly things when there's now a whole DAISO here?! Just go and buy some cute, helpful things...

However like everything the prices have changed drastically. Gone are the $1.25.... Everything is now $2.25 so take that information and do with it what you will. 2- it JUST opened so it looked extremely clean and well stocked. The real test will be how it looks in a few months. If the staff can keep it that way then props! However I did noticed a lot of shoppers letting their small children play with toys down the aisles and carelessly bumping into people without so much as an excuse me or sorry. 3- The store was PACKED with people, the line was around the corner, and they had a self checkout section as well as a cashier. Once again it JUST opened. So it's to be expected. As far as Daiso's go... this one was in line with most of the others I have been to. Lots of easy parking and tons of goodies to browse. Worth the time to stop and browse if you've never been before. I'll come back in a few weeks to see how the dust settles.

The store is on the northeast corner of Jackson and Avenue 50. {If you don't want to have heart palpitations, come in from Calhoun Street going south and turn right on Avenue 50, and right into the lot on the corner of Jackson because the cars from the two two-lane roads hustling at that Stop Sign are enough to raise your blood pressure a lot.} We saw displays of the most beautiful produce inside the door. Plump oranges, zucchinis, broccoli, cucumbers and many other items show off their freshness and aroma. We found cucumbers, zucchini, carrots and the most fragrant strawberries ever. A bottle of Pico Pica hot sauce rounded out the purchase. Their food truck is parked on the southeast corner of their lot. @elowtitos @lgdesertstore We ordered two carne asada mulitas, a burrito, and loaded fries. Everything was delicious. The staff in the store as well as the food truck are so lovely. My husband was using a walker and everyone in the store was super helpful. We look forward to scooting over often now that we know about this wonderful group of people and the magnificent fruits and vegetables.
