This location just opened up and I HAD to stop in on the grand opening to check it out. First impressions: 1- this used to be a Hyaku-en (100 yen) spot.... ie Japanese dollar store. However like everything the prices have changed drastically. Gone are the $1.25.... Everything is now $2.25 so take that information and do with it what you will. 2- it JUST opened so it looked extremely clean and well stocked. The real test will be how it looks in a few months. If the staff can keep it that way then props! However I did noticed a lot of shoppers letting their small children play with toys down the aisles and carelessly bumping into people without so much as an excuse me or sorry. 3- The store was PACKED with people, the line was around the corner, and they had a self checkout section as well as a cashier. Once again it JUST opened. So it's to be expected. As far as Daiso's go... this one was in line with most of the others I have been to. Lots of easy parking and tons of goodies to browse. Worth the time to stop and browse if you've never been before. I'll come back in a few weeks to see how the dust settles. read more

So happy to finally have a Daiso here in the desert! It's like a cuter, more fun, bit more costly but still way reasonable dollar store. They sell soo many things, it can be overwhelming to see everything you need packaged so cutely or in a cuter form than what you'd traditionally use. Clunky box cutter? No need, I now have a cute kitty with a fish box cutter that can be put on a fridge...I also got the cute sitting bear mini box cutter. Just sits there all unBEARably cute & unassuming until a package arrives, then it's all business! Hehehe Daiso sells a wide array of affordable household goods, stationery, beauty supplies, snacks, etc. Things like kitchenware, storage solutions, crafting supplies, party supplies, bento boxes, chop sticks and seasonal decorations. Also, beauty supplies that you can't find other stores. When you walk in there, you feel like you're on a fun treasure hunt... Like literally I walk down almost every aisle on my first trip and it was a little overwhelming because I kept finding things that I had in my mental list that I needed and now I can check off that list freeing up mental space... :-) So, I like to come in here for some of the snacks and sparkly beverages... I love the Yuzu Water but the price is higher than other waters and sodas. I still buy it, feels like a refreshing luxury to sip on. They also have POG in one can. LOL Usually, I'd have to buy it as separately as Passion Orange & Guava and mix them. Just go and check them out...They're always mixing it up in there. Went and checked out this new store last week. Fun place. AMAZING! It's a cross between the old American Pic & Save, and the Dollar Store. It has pretty much every single thing you didn't know you needed! I found some garden items I couldn't find anywhere else (including Home Depot) as well as some closet organizing items and cute little Asian dishes I use for cat food. So much STUFF. Go when you have time to wander. You can't see everything in 10 minutes. And put yourself on a budget when you walk in. Most items are priced and any item with NO price, is $2.25. It's pretty easy. There are price conversion signs everywhere. I'm going again today to wander again. It's like a Disneyland for all the small stuff in life. Oh...and take your own bags. read more

I went to this store when they originally opened. I loved it. It is cute, and fun. Some items are a hit, but some items are a miss. To be expected to be honest. I think if you really take the time to look at the item you're purchasing, you'd be able to decipher if it is worth the money you're spending. But on the bright side you're not really spending a lot of money on one item either. So it's not really a loss. I do have to say the first time we came in was after the opening so everyone was friendly. Yesterday I went, and it looked like there was only one employee there so obviously I'm sure it's stressful for them. But I was checking out and bought a bag, and I'm not sure if it's store policy, but the bags weren't accessible. The cashier was just checking someone out and I didn't want to bother her because she was busy with another customer. So I was looking for a bag and eventually found one. She didn't like that, and was kind of rude to me about it. It's not going to stop me from going back, but it didn't make me feel great leaving when I was trying to alleviate some stress from her because she had a line. read more

Affordable prices ! Nice and clean although some people r just rude to leave their trash in the isles! The workers saw that as it can mess up their merchandise, As a person that has worked in retail before, people leaving their drinks around can be a bit rude. I would just suggest to the owner to put a sign that says " no food or drinks allowed" just like the Tokyo Japan store at the mall. They had plenty of selection of things u can want for you home., or personal use. Finally a Daiso in this area! read more

I would say that this Daiso in particular doesn't have as big of a selection as other Daisos that I've been to, but it's still really cool. The staff is really friendly and quick to help. And as per usual the selection is pretty inexpensive while being classy elegant and really cute. If you've never been and you like or ar curious about inexpensive Japanese Home goods, definitely visit!! read more
