The store was clean. Good customer service. Quick response in the purse and jewelry section. Store is cleaned and well stocked. Plenty of cashiers to move the line. I came to this store to get something from the jewelry department. My ear was hurting from the piercing I had on and I needed a new one so i quickly rushed to my nearest store and I saw they closed at 9:30 so I ended up walking in 9:20pm. I was actually proud of my self I went straight to the jewelry department and kindly asked the employee (her) if I can purchase something and she looked at me and told me no. And I asked her why you don't close until 9:30pm. she said if you want jewelry you can purchase what's out. I was very upset and couldn't believe she dismissed me in that matter! They honestly need to be more professional and stop hating their job! I will try my best to never go and buy jewelry anymore! read more

Adding on to my previous review, I had a super duper shopping experience today when checking out. I spied these cool 'Love Wins' shopping bags for 99 cents, so I had to grab some. I very much appreciate when businesses are willing to take a stand and show they support the LGBTQ community. The sales woman was also excited and mentioned that TJ Maxx gave out the bags for free this month in L.A. for Pride month. How cool is that??!!! So proud of TJ Maxx! read more

Managers Need Training on Professionalism. I was in the store today about to pay and overheard what sounded like a manager reprimanding an employee right there on the floor. It was uncomfortable as a customer, and I felt it was completely unprofessional to address employee issues so publicly. Everyone deserves respect, especially at work, and this kind of behavior impacts the atmosphere for customers too. I'd suggest that management consider handling these conversations privately in the future to create a more welcoming experience for both customers and employees. read more

Smaller TJ Maxx, with good items, you'll have to search for them though, they crammed the aisles together, I kid you not! I kept seeing people slamming into the same clothing rack that was smothered between two larger longer ones - hilarious. And you won't fit through one with people in aisles, ridiculously narrow. Customer service was Ok. The associate who waited on me was overkill on the exchanging of pleasantries, couldn't tell if it was condescending, artificial or both. Observation I noticed at almost all TJ Maxx's - the tight pony tail light baseball caps . That's all I'm going to say. (irk, puke, etc) read more

The manager at this location has zero people skills. She refused to return an item for me bc I didn't have the plastic wrap it came in (online purchase). There is nothing that says that I need that to return. She was cold, rude and made a huge mistake. I shop there and at their sister stores often. Bad choice losing a customer like me. read more

I am a TJ Maxx fanatic, and love to shop here. This location was pretty big, I didn't see any staff on the floor though so when we had questions we had no one to ask. I found some great name brand things for over half the price, although they didn't have a good selection of plus size or clearance. My husband found a pair of golf pants for super cheap and a few tees, which we can never find any men things at our local store. Still, great finds for great prices. Would recommend having more staff available though especially during holidays. read more

Not sure why some Yelpers aren't showing this shop more love. This is a really clean, well laid out TJ Maxx. While it is a smaller location, it makes up for it in quality. There have never been any roving bands of unattended children running around this location; nor have I seen the "mallrat" crowd here either. This is a good thing. Check that, this is a GREAT thing! The floors are clear of fallen clothes and debris, the shoppers are serious and upscale for this type of store. It definitely does not have the same feel as most of these type of stores do. Maybe because it's attached to an ULTA, I don't know, but it's a great place to find discount clothes without having to deal with discount customers. Give this one a shot, I promise you it's a quite different experience from the norm. read more

Came to this Tj Maxx because needed to buy some clothes for the kids . As soon as you walk in You are greeted by someone and they ask if you want your cart wiped, which is nice but I think they should wipe and not ask . I found some great deals . I was helped by cashier 1023, forgot her name but she was so nice and loved the service. Target cashier from la quinta need cashiers like her. read more

Not impress with their customer service I rather take my money somewhere else, I love tjmaxx but the staff on this one isn't to friendly but I did see they treated other people differently, such a bummer! I was so excited that recruiter was going to have its own TJ Maxx so I wouldn't have to keep driving to the one inc Palm Desert. unfortunately, I could not be more disappointed. The store is quite small so the departments have limited merchandise , or selection, & no designer section like some TJ Maxx stores have and that the La Quinta demographics can certainly support and deserves. This was more hi Ross, which we already have and offers even less than than the LQ Marshalls. Why they did not occupy the full empty space instead of sharing it with a too-small Ulta opening soon. it looks like I will have to continue to travel to Palm Desert to the much nicer TJ Maxx & Ulta there, or take my business elsewhere altogether. too bad Palm Desert and not my home community, with content, will benefit from the sales tax revenue. very poor planning. The manager Liliana is super lazy!!! I have never been to a TJ Maxx store with this type or customer service before! She does not even want to check a price on an item! I hope that management can re-train their employees to better accommodate customers. Especially someone in a managerial position. read more

This TJ Maxx location is not as big as the one in Palm Desert, but I still like to go in and browse through their stuff every now and then because I live close by. I got a cute Adidas gym bag on my last visit, but it's not often I buy a whole lot from this location. I have much better luck at the PD location. Parking can be a bit stressful at busy times during snowbird season because it's located near several popular food spots, Chase Bank, and Ulta. read more

Since this location opened I've gone about twice a week mainly for their workout clothes. Because they have plenty in stock and at affordable prices. I occasionally look at their other departments and wish they stocked their children's section better which is the only downside side to my shopping experience here. As to my experience with employees they have always been friendly and attentive. read more
