I'm happy that I can always find pretty good items at this location compared to some of my more local Home Goods. This shopping center is busy and the parking not as large as it could be but I normally try to come here early and at opening which usually gets me a parking spot pretty close to the front. I came two days after Christmas and was honestly impressed with their inventory. After Christmas most stores are hurting and down to their bare bones items but not this home goods! Yes the Christmas decor was lacking but that was A okay with me. I was so thrilled to see otherwise the entire store was stocked and had so much to look at and choose from. I ended up finding Valentine's Day cheery decor that I've literally been hunting since last year! I was so so happy to have stumbled across such a great find and a bunch of other great little kitchen wear items. Staff were friendly and while the lines were long at the register they were smart and called for backup and had almost every register open. I always appreciate that and that they try to keep the line moving. Today was a come up! Happy to have this home goods in the desert and will continue to come back here.

Jeans need in-person shopping for me rather online because I need to know the fit. I found a large section of jeans and the sizes were in a jumbled mess, with many of the size indicators on the hanger not matching the actual size of the jeans and forget about having the sizing be hung in smallest to largest order. After pouring through the racks I only found three size 3 pairs, which didn't give me much to choose from. When I entered the unattended fitting room, it was like entering a disaster area - each stall was littered with clothes. On the ground, on the hooks, on the seat - just chaos. The return rack was overflowing onto the ground. I found a pair of jeans that fit and went to go checkout and was surprised to find that the line leads you straight to a self checkout area of many stations, then much further back is a checkout with a single cashier standing there, looking away and avoiding eye contact. I rang up my jeans and when I left the alarm went off because apparently there was a security tag on my jeans. I brought it up to the woman behind the counter who motioned for me to a device where I could remove it myself. Shopping at this Kohl's was the most unjoyful experience imaginable; it was beyond depressing and I just can't fathom why Kohl's considers this business model to work. The store was like a ghost town with almost no shoppers anywhere, and it's no wonder.

I know this seems a low bar, but if you shop at TJ Maxx, Off 5th on El Paseo, Ross and other discount stores that are in the same competitive space, this is not the norm. The Ross staff down the street hollers at you "WELCOME" in hope that distracts you from seeing the piles of misplaced merch in the aisles, and then you end up waiting in a monumental line that makes you wonder if you really need that $19.99 item. At this Marshalls, I can find nice displays of clothing at the front of the store of multiple brands' offerings, with my size 2 or 4 still available on the rack. The dressing rooms are clean and offer nice lighting so I don't obsess on my imperfections. Overall a great experience shopping here and I definitely recommend this Marshalls.

Edna, in the Food Court, made me wait and wait and wait some more for 2 SLICES of Pepperoni Pizza... I waited in line and she gave me my two beverages and then told me that I would have to wait because they don't have enough pepperoni pizza for my order. When asked what was being served by slice as I looked at what apparently looked like pepperoni pizza, Edna answered, that it was half cheese, half pepperoni... Never heard of that before, ok. Maybe it's new. Waited for a while longer... Then I went up to get the slices after I saw a new Pepperoni Pie come out and someone get served a slice that wasn't waiting in the waiting area for the pepperoni slices like I was told to do. When I asked if the slices were ready, I was adamantly told, by Edna again, that it's not pepperoni (ok, my lying eyes, sure ). What is going on here?! That's two pizzas by the slice that "aren't pepperoni". So I thought how the heck is that not pepperoni but I still waited, while asking the guy behind me if those slices looked like Pepperoni. He said that definitely looks like pepperoni to me... so I called my husband to tell him why I still hadn't made it to the table and then I finally got called after a bunch of big pizzas & many slices of "not pepperoni" went out. As I went to pick up my slices, they went to hand me two full pizzas, no questions asked... But then I said I only wanted two slices as that's what I paid $6 dollars for. Apparently EDNA thought my receipt said 2 Pizzas... Right!?! $6 for drinks and 2 Full Pizzas. FISHY Also, while I stood there waiting, I saw somebody from the main costco cashier line asking Edna if they're still allowed to sell Pizzas from the cashier line. Edna said yes, but there's a 20 minute wait. ***Management needs to know that there was an issue... I would like to know why I was the only one out of all the slices in line that was isolated and put to the side and had to wait for my slices while everybody else got served. Also, I believe Edna let her coworkers & other customers down by artificially increasing the demand of Pizzas needed and making it feel chaotic. If it was an honest mistake, that's fine... But I don't see how she can misread my receipt and still be fine reading everybody else's slice receipts... I don't get it. I have thoughts... But I won't share them here.

The reason for the docked star is I just find this location hard to maneuver compaired to my home town Costco's. The parking lots here are a scary place to park at times given the age demographic of their customers. Hopefully you are getting my hint. I try to not pass judgement or generalize but having been here enough times it's simply been my genuine experience and it just is what it is. The struggle continues inside as it takes me double the time to get through the aisles. Usually one way is coming and one way is going but not here. Today again I found myself getting stuck behind certain folks and their cart because many choose to go the same direction side by side. Sigh. Aside from the stressors of navigating this location because of its clientele, the store is actually great. Always super clean and well stocked on product. I'm always impressed that certain home goods items that I can't find at my local stores I can always find here. It's amazing and a big part of why I come to this location. Staff are always super nice and everyone that works here is very friendly. The cashiers are fast moving and in my experience they always have a lot of registers open here. Just note they do lack some of the more specialized grocery products but overall a good selection. If you are in the desert this is a good Costco just know to have patience will get you a long way here lol.

Just sits there all unBEARably cute & unassuming until a package arrives, then it's all business! Hehehe Daiso sells a wide array of affordable household goods, stationery, beauty supplies, snacks, etc. Things like kitchenware, storage solutions, crafting supplies, party supplies, bento boxes, chop sticks and seasonal decorations. Also, beauty supplies that you can't find other stores. When you walk in there, you feel like you're on a fun treasure hunt... Like literally I walk down almost every aisle on my first trip and it was a little overwhelming because I kept finding things that I had in my mental list that I needed and now I can check off that list freeing up mental space... :-) So, I like to come in here for some of the snacks and sparkly beverages... I love the Yuzu Water but the price is higher than other waters and sodas. I still buy it, feels like a refreshing luxury to sip on. They also have POG in one can. However like everything the prices have changed drastically. Gone are the $1.25.... Everything is now $2.25 so take that information and do with it what you will. 2- it JUST opened so it looked extremely clean and well stocked. The real test will be how it looks in a few months. If the staff can keep it that way then props! However I did noticed a lot of shoppers letting their small children play with toys down the aisles and carelessly bumping into people without so much as an excuse me or sorry. 3- The store was PACKED with people, the line was around the corner, and they had a self checkout section as well as a cashier. Once again it JUST opened. So it's to be expected. As far as Daiso's go... this one was in line with most of the others I have been to. Lots of easy parking and tons of goodies to browse. Worth the time to stop and browse if you've never been before. I'll come back in a few weeks to see how the dust settles.

I had never been into a Five Below and had no idea what they sold. I was picking up fancy refrigerated dog food next door at PetSmart and thought I'd wander in and see what they sold. Was it refrigerated items? The name Five Below made me wonder. As I popped in, a very friendly guy said hello and welcomed me, but not in an insincere way. (I'm always a bit sus about that) I started to realize this was an upgraded 99 Cent store with a $5 limit, and was curious to explore. I really responded well to the nice lighting, cool oversized signage and clean feel of the store. I saw items that are at better prices than other stores, but I wondered how people knew what to purchase here. I think you must just go in and endeavor to buy stuff you would normally buy elsewhere for more. Although I left without a purchase, I will go back when I want to stock up on items we regularly use. Also, the guy that works there literally had his teeth sparkle when he said thank you for visiting us - I'm easily swayed by genuine appreciation.
