This is the milk I bought for my coffee when I came back from Texas on July 20.

I generally love this store and I'm always sending people to it. I love that it is locally family owned. But what I do not love is driving down there buying expired milk but then I don't find out until I pour my coffee in the morning. I should be able to on the shelf and grab a gallon of milk and walk away. It's gotten to the point that I don't know if I trust their products anymore This is the 3rd gallon of milk. I've bought that has been expired in the last two or three months. Happened to my mother as well. The owner of the store need to make their employees get off their asses and do their jobs Are they hiring? I'd be happy to come in there and whip everybody into shape. They need a REAL manager is what they need. SOMEBODY THAT ACTUALLY MANAGES THEM SO THAT KIND OF STUFF DOESN'T HAPPEN. All my restaurants were 5 star rated on yelp- I checked Yelp every day and I made anychanges immediately. I doubt that will be the case here as I have complained in the store before and nothing has changed- hence the one star review

Yes!!!! I'm from Washington and shop at Grocery Outlet regularly. I always find great deals on organic products, unique items you wouldn't normally find while grocery shopping, great cheese and wines, and lots more. Imagine my surprise as we're visiting Cali and we pass a brand new store!! We were in need of some grocery items and couldn't do a U-turn far enough. The store is shiny new & bright. Same great layout. Lots of unique stuff from kitchen items, to garden, toiletries, snacks, frozen meats, etc and lots more. We found a soft sided cooler for $9.99 and were just looking at Home Goods for one that was more expensive. I'm already a loyal customer, and am happy to have this here in Palm Desert! Hoo-Ray!!

I recently moved here and yesterday found the store on Washington to be clean and the staff helpful.

They sell soo many things, it can be overwhelming to see everything you need packaged so cutely or in a cuter form than what you'd traditionally use. Clunky box cutter? No need, I now have a cute kitty with a fish box cutter that can be put on a fridge...I also got the cute sitting bear mini box cutter. Just sits there all unBEARably cute & unassuming until a package arrives, then it's all business! Hehehe Daiso sells a wide array of affordable household goods, stationery, beauty supplies, snacks, etc. Things like kitchenware, storage solutions, crafting supplies, party supplies, bento boxes, chop sticks and seasonal decorations. Also, beauty supplies that you can't find other stores. When you walk in there, you feel like you're on a fun treasure hunt... Like literally I walk down almost every aisle on my first trip and it was a little overwhelming because I kept finding things that I had in my mental list that I needed and now I can check off that list freeing up mental space... :-) So, I like to come in here for some of the snacks and sparkly beverages... I love the Yuzu Water but the price is higher than other waters and sodas. I still buy it, feels like a refreshing luxury to sip on. They also have POG in one can. LOL Usually, I'd have to buy it as separately as Passion Orange & Guava and mix them. Just go and check them out...They're always mixing it up in there. The service has been nice & helpful no weird attitudes. Why buy ugly things when there's now a whole DAISO here?! Just go and buy some cute, helpful things...

However like everything the prices have changed drastically. Gone are the $1.25.... Everything is now $2.25 so take that information and do with it what you will. 2- it JUST opened so it looked extremely clean and well stocked. The real test will be how it looks in a few months. If the staff can keep it that way then props! However I did noticed a lot of shoppers letting their small children play with toys down the aisles and carelessly bumping into people without so much as an excuse me or sorry. 3- The store was PACKED with people, the line was around the corner, and they had a self checkout section as well as a cashier. Once again it JUST opened. So it's to be expected. As far as Daiso's go... this one was in line with most of the others I have been to. Lots of easy parking and tons of goodies to browse. Worth the time to stop and browse if you've never been before. I'll come back in a few weeks to see how the dust settles.

I'm happy that I can always find pretty good items at this location compared to some of my more local Home Goods. This shopping center is busy and the parking not as large as it could be but I normally try to come here early and at opening which usually gets me a parking spot pretty close to the front. I came two days after Christmas and was honestly impressed with their inventory. After Christmas most stores are hurting and down to their bare bones items but not this home goods! Yes the Christmas decor was lacking but that was A okay with me. I was so thrilled to see otherwise the entire store was stocked and had so much to look at and choose from. I ended up finding Valentine's Day cheery decor that I've literally been hunting since last year! I was so so happy to have stumbled across such a great find and a bunch of other great little kitchen wear items. Staff were friendly and while the lines were long at the register they were smart and called for backup and had almost every register open. I always appreciate that and that they try to keep the line moving. Today was a come up! Happy to have this home goods in the desert and will continue to come back here.
