Just what we needed. Great deals and adds a ton of variety to the local population so we aren't limited to Stater Bros. or Walmart.

They did have a good selections but what was left when I got there was pretty slim picking. Everyone picking something up which is great. Fast forward to Tuesday morning. The rush is over and everything is back in stock. The flowers are ready for picking. All the orchids plants are fully stocked, loads of the peonies on full display. Get them while you can as they are seasonal and only available during certain months. Besides picking up the flowers, they alway have everything I come for and then some. The isle and shelves are alway neat and clean. The staffs are alway so friendly and welcoming. I've seen some even help people take their groceries out to their cars for them. Service is alway great and the shelves are always stocked. One of the nice stores.

If you're in need of any Trader Joe's thing, then you must stop in at this one in Cathedral City. Located off Palm Canyon in the shopping center with Target, El Pollo Loco and lots of familiar spots, but next door to Boomers - National Amusement Center which keeps this parking lot extra lit. The layout is pretty easy and classic to the ways of Traders locations. I'm usually only in town for a weekend here or there and when coming up to visit friends and or/stay this is one of my main go to places for snacks, small groceries, and wine. The service here is great and even when it's very busy I still feel like everything runs so smoothly. Awesome produce, nuts, hummus, dips, chips and veggie friendly finds. Impossible nuggets in the frozen section? Yes, please! A bottle of French rosé... It's a yah! Good prices and quality everything. Whether your local, passing through as a traveler or just visiting. This Trader Joe's will be good to you. And yes like any places they may run low or out of popular items or even discontinue things, however you'll be surprised when you discover new ones. Open 8 AM to 9 PM daily. Holidays pending.

I don't know how they pick and choose location to add one compared to the normal. I've only been to the one in Orlando and now this location in the desert. Of course you have to have a massive parking lot to accommodate the loads of shoppers and wanderer's. Three entrances on either end of the store and garden center. There's a fast food place inside, you have the deli section and bakery. Of course the frozen section with quite some nice decent items. It's basically a grocery store on one side of the place. Even a decent isle for the international goods. There's a fairly decent section/department where the alcohol is located. So you have one side that's groceries and the other is basically everything else. Home goods, technology, clothing and so on. There's even a pretty decent size garden center that is pretty massive but it was a little sparse with what they offered. Some patio furniture, mainly soil and the usual pots and some plants. They also have a department for delivery and pickup. It's quite interesting for me...lol... Of course you have the option of self checkout or with someone. Bags are additional fee as we all know. What I didn't understand is, some of the items you would need to pay before hand if you want them. There's the beauty department where you have to leave your basket outside and pay for what you need before returning to it. And some other items in the store where you have to do the same or they can leave it at the customer service counter until you're finished. I had to do that with a measuring tape. We were still shopping and asked if it was ok. The staff seemed a bit annoyed with the request but took it to customer service anyways. Besides that concept, it a pretty good place for your one stop shop.

Fortunately, I was helped by ANEL at the Front End Customer Service desk, and I can honestly say it was some of the most exceptional customer service I've ever experienced. In fact, she thanked me for my patience -- when truly it was her patience that carried us through the situation without a single harsh word or hint of attitude. Outstanding service like this deserves to be recognized. Thank you, Anel.

Finding some things was a little odd, they have an end cap for premade dips that wasn't where it should be. Not being as familiar with this location it turned into an entire experience. The produce and wine, beer and spirits sections being the most functional in terms of organization. The deli, pre-packed goods, bread, baked goods etc area was super limited - expected to find hummus and spreads here like at other locations or pretty much any grocery store in SoCal, but they like to keep you on your toes lol We were able to get help whenever we needed it and reasonable prices as to be expected. The isles are solid though some odd end caps and displays here and there. It's still got that vintage aesthetic with very modern touches I've been noticing at all Staters - mostly on the outer halves of the store. Huge parking lot with shared businesses (including a very nice carwash, fast eats and more), though not quite as big as the other Vista Chino location. Friendly staff, clerks and security make for a nice grocery going experience.

*All Pretty Good at ALDI*…read more I've known about ALDI for years, but there's none on the Westside of LA. I'm fully aware of their history and relationship with Trader Joe's. Love TJ's. But I've never shopped at an ALDI. Finally decided to check out this ALDI, after grabbing a few things at Sprouts next-door. It's not too often there's two major commercial grocery stores located right smack next to each other. The parking lot is huge so there's no issues landing a parking space at this fairly large shopping plaza on the corner of Gene Autry & Ramon in Palm Springs. Inside, ALDI is slightly spacious, clean and the aisles are nice & wide. I walked up & down every aisle...and was very surprised to find 3 things: Organic Hummus for $2.79 Organic Persian Cucumbers. 1lb package of 8 mini cucs for $3.49 The hummus is fantastic. All natural ingredients. Made with olive oil. No seed oils, artificial crap or fake chemical fillers. Bought "the classic" (my fav) and "roasted red pepper" (wifey's fav) She was pleasantly surprised too how great it is. This is now definitely going to be included in our grocery store rotation. The Persian cucumbers are fresh & crisp and perfecto. It's been 4 days since I got them and they're still just as good & ripe, without any soft mushy spots. Usually when I buy these from other stores, they begin to spoil way too quickly. Sorry Trader Joe's. Also picked up a package of Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil. 50sq ft for $4.99. Great low price and quality. A couple things I noticed tho...only one checkout stand was open, and there was a steady flow of customers. 3 people in line ahead of me, with 3 more in back of me. Lots of customers still shopping. During my entire time at the store, spanning 20+ minutes, I did not see one other ALDI team member in the entire store. It was mid afternoon so it's not like it was primetime lunch break. Not sure if this is the norm or a one-off short-handed day? Nonetheless, since I had a little extra time to spare, I was okay with it. This time. Others tho in the store didn't seem too thrilled. I don't blame them. The girl at the checkout stand was very aloof and not welcoming. Seemed robotic...and didn't come across as if she wanted to be there. Acted as tho she was doing us all a favor being there. Most of us even bagged our own groceries in our own bags. I hope she understands and realizes we customers contribute to paying her salary...and if she keeps this up, one day soon an AI robot will take away her job. I hope not because good customer service is very crucial to enhance the chore of grocery shopping. It's one of the reasons I enjoying shopping at all Trader Joe's -- very friendly & welcoming team members. There's another ALDI in Palm Desert. I intend to check it out and compare. I'll be back later with some more constructive feedback ;-)

She came back to tell me to f*#k off and flip me the bird all in front of her supervisor and other customers. Her supervisor took over for her and said she would talk to Holley. Totally uncalled for just cause I asked her to be with my groceries. This is not the first time the cashier's here at Aldi's have done this with not just my groceries but others too. Will not be going back to this unorganized store.
