I have driven by PS HomeBoys in downtown Palm Springs so many times over the years and always meant to go inside, but somehow I never seemed to have the time. Now that I finally do, it feels like I am getting a second chance to see the places I missed when I used to live here. PS HomeBoys had always been on my radar and the moment I walked in I understood why. I absolutely love the vibe of this place. The showroom feels like the perfect expression of the Palm Springs design spirit. It is bright, colorful, creative, and unapologetically mid-century modern while still feeling fresh and current. The shop was founded by interior designer Jeremy Taylor together with his partner Niels Kosman, and you can really feel that designer's eye throughout the space. Every piece feels intentional, from the furniture and lighting to the artwork and wallpaper. Nothing feels random or mass-produced. It feels curated. Palm Springs has such a strong design identity and PS HomeBoys captures it perfectly. Walking through the store feels like stepping into the kind of home you see in the iconic desert architecture that made this city famous. It is easy to imagine how these pieces would work in a stylish desert home or even a vacation rental, which makes sense because they also help stage and design homes around the area. For anyone who appreciates great interior design, mid-century style, or just wants to browse something different from the usual furniture stores, this place is absolutely worth visiting. I am honestly glad I finally made the time to go inside after all these years. Sometimes you pass by a place for years without stopping, and then when you finally do you realize you should have gone in a long time ago. This is definitely one of those spots. read more

PS Homeboys is a very unique boutique in Palm Springs. We browsed around for a while. The staff (owners perhaps?) were friendly and funny. We never felt hurried or pressured. We didn't buy anything, but I found a ton of really cool things that I wanted to take home with me. It is probably a good thing we rode to Palm Springs with our friends in a small SUV rather than our pick-up truck. I would've filled the truck! I definitely want to return with a high limit credit card. LOL! The giant Lava Lamp was rad! read more

Located right on Indian canyon, I Love this cute little store! It was right next to our hotel Zoso. Just like the sign says they have everything you don't need. But it adds a flare of color to your home decor. I honestly wanted to buy one of everything. The colors were so vibrant and fun. read more

Obsessed. I love this wonderful store. And Jeremy. I. Am. So. Happy. Just purchased my favorite piece of art ever. (See attached Barbra on acrylic. Isn't she fantastic?) And the gorgeous clothes I bought at PS Homeboys last week are gorgeous (and were delightfully inexpensive) and make me look skinny. Which is no small feat with these arms. I love PS Homeboys. Since moving here, we have made a purposeful, concerted effort to exclusively support the lovely and amazing small business owners of the Palm Springs area. These guys are not in the same league. On FOUR occasions we attempted to call, go in, and loo at wallpaper. We aren't picky, would have been an easy sale of at least 3 murals and a couple bathrooms. We ALWAYS felt like we were inconveniencing them. They have a terrible attitude, a cold demeanor which another business owner nearby deemed "crabby euro gays" and made us feel unwelcome on each occasion. I don't take writing this review lightly, but each time I drive downtown and pass their store I feel hurt, angry, and disappointed that I have to see their store all the time, remembering how much we hated our experiences. I hope some pleasant people take over that location someday. read more

Owner was super out of pocket, weird and disrespectful and insulted my friend and I out of nowhere as soon as he approached us. I'm furnishing my new home and there were some cute quirky items that I most likely would have purchased, but after he made a disrespectful comment we just scoffed at him and walked out. I wouldn't suggest anyone to spend a penny at this miserable man's shop. May karma give this business the longevity that it deserves ;) read more

5 stars rating is not enough to rave about Jeremy and Neils. They have been so patient with our short term rental - total renovation. They're both so involved with this project which makes me so excited to see it finish. They coordinate with my architect and General Contractor. I live more than a 100 miles away would be at a lost on how to handle this project without their help. We'll be posting pictures once our project is finish. Getting there: PS Homeboys is conveniently located just a few blocks off of the 10 fwy. If you're coming from the east, take exit 120 for Indian Canyon Drive and turn right onto Tramway Road. If you're coming from the west, take exit 120 for Indian Canyon Drive and turn left onto Tramway Road. From there, it's just a short drive to the store. I believe they have parking behind the store, but in front of the store there is only street parking. Experience: If you're looking for a unique shopping experience, you have to check out PS Homeboys off of Indian Canyon! From the moment you walk in the door, you're greeted with an array of fun and quirky home decor, gifts, and clothes. The store itself is impeccably organized, making it easy to browse and find exactly what you're looking for. I was particularly impressed with their selection of home decor items. They have everything from vintage-inspired signs to colorful throw pillows, and each piece is unique and full of personality. And if you're in the market for a gift, they have plenty of options for that too. Overall, I highly recommend PS Homeboys for anyone looking for a fun and unique shopping experience. read more

Opened a year ago today. Beautiful & bold store with plenty to look at. The Acapulco furniture outside drew me in. They have a FABULOUS selection!!!! The owners are very nice. Three years ago, my husband and I purchased outdoor patio furniture (multiple pieces with orange and white webbing) from PS Homeboys for use around our pool. We wanted something that could stay outside 24/7 and we were assured that their furniture was designed just for that purpose. Although the white webbing looks the same today, the orange webbing has turned black and has broken on one of the chairs. We recently returned to the store with one piece and asked if there was anything they could do. At first, we were told that "the Palm Springs sun eventually ruins everything". When we pointed out that we had discussed the furniture's outdoor use, we were told that the furniture only had a one-year warranty. (This was new information.) Nevertheless, they took a picture of the damaged piece and promised to contact the manufacturer to see if re-stringing the furniture was an option. When we didn't hear from them after a month, we texted PS Homeboys asking for an update. It's been three weeks and still no response. While we weren't hopeful that there would be a satisfactory resolution this long after the original purchase, the complete lack of follow-up from PS Homeboys is both disappointing and unprofessional. read more

Oh, mercy, what fun! This home decor, gift, curio retailer in downtown Palm Springs tosses out more panache than a gay pride parade. Packed with delectable goodies, from wallpaper and wall art, to stationary and furniture, the getting's good at this must-stop over-the-top shop. When my friends and I stopped in on a May 2023 weekday, two perennial ladies were our guides, and giddy fun. As a tourist in PS, I definitely have retail envy for the likes of PS Homeboys; it's utterly marvelous. read more

Out and about with fellow Yelper and friend Elle N. on a random Thursday evening, we spotted brightly colored mid-mod furniture on the sidewalk while waiting at a stop light (also spotted walking past was a woman with perfectly coiffed chignon, mod mustard-colored minidress and gogo boots, which further burned this magical place into our minds, despite being entirely unrelated to the business itself, as far as we know- lol)... Food was first in our mind at that particular moment, so we made mental note to come back after bit... With bellies full, we returned to this block in hopes it would still be open for explain and it was! Everywhere we turned, we exclaimed "oooh-- look at this!" and "oh my gosh-- I LOVE this!!" and "this would be so awesome in my__(fill in the blank with part of the house)__!" Bright colors, clean lines, clever reimaginings of everyday designs, posh, yet playful and Pop-y, and most of it worthy of a spot Andy Warhol's Factory... Coasters with Prince and Marilyn Monroe? Check. Vibrantly colored patio furniture made of heavy vinyl cord? Check. Cocktail shakers in the shape of a penguin and a tiki? Check. Bright green handbag in the shape of a Chinese takeout box? Check. Brass banana bookends? Check. Vibrant architectural prints and photos in bold, dessert sunrise hues? Check. Pink velvet sofa? Check. Black coffee table with legs fashioned as brass vipers biting the edges? Check. Jewelry? Check... The list goes on and on and on, and it's a true feast for the eyes and the imagination.
