We've had wonderfully positive experiences here in the past but today suggests a shift toward a much less customer-friendly approach, We learned that consignment is no longer accepted on a walk-in basis even during the hours that was previously possible. Consignors are now required to submit photos online in advance and wait for a minimum of 48 hours for approval. We weren't aware of this change and were told at the front desk to take our item back home and photograph it despite it already being in the store. After pushing back, front desk staff did finally confirm with someone else that they aren't accepting chandeliers at this time, which was the information we ultimately needed. Still the process felt unnecessarily rigid and was poorly communicated. Since this is Misty's new normal, consignors should plan accordingly. read more

I love this place. It's an adventure to be sure. I can't think of anything they don't have in the home furnishing arena. All really good quality too. A thrift shop it's not! It's not cheap, but it's good stuff. The assortment of artwork, painting and sculptures is second to none. And the service is fantastic. Everyone there is super nice. Misty's Consignment's store is fantastic! It doesn't look big when you first walk in but there are so many rooms filled with so many surprises furniture jewelry things from the 60s and 50s and 70's and today's treasures. We have bought a few things there one was a RCA 1972 television set. We are in the process of seeing if we can get it fixed but it looks so great and so cool just sitting in our living room anyway we love the 60s and 70s. The people who work there are so nice and so helpful if you're looking for art or that special thing, I would definitely recommend Misty's Consignment some of the things are expensive, but the quality is even more valuable. I also brought in some things for Consignment it's real easy to do. Give them a call and they'll tell you how to do it. After I finished my shopping I stood at the register to pay. there was a lady having help that went on for along time. meanwhile I waited for ten minutes to pay. This place is AMAZING so many things to browse. Great prices, friendly staff and beautiful unique pieces. It is VERY busy and frequently visited by designers, locals, tourists and serial shoppers. Walls and walls of ART. We spent several hours browsing. Items do not stay around long but if they sit more then a month a 15% price reduction is applied every 30 days. Some people were waiting for trucks to be unloaded as nee items were brought in. Designer brands, custom pieces but also PB, Restoration Hardware stuff too. I had a great and easy experience with Misty's as a consignee. This was my first time consigning furniture somewhere and I was a little anxious about finding the right place I could trust. I took my time scouting locations and reading reviews. I finally landed on Misty's and submitted pictures of my items via their website for approval. When I dropped off my items I was a little worried because they didn't tell me right then what the items would be priced at. However, a woman called me about 30 mins later to tell me the prices. I thought the prices were accurate and was happy with the prompt communication. They then followed up with an email and access to a customer portal where I saw those same prices and my items accurately itemized. I would get email updates as my items sold and was able to walk in and pick up a check halfway through the consignment with ease. At the end of the consignment I had some items left and they called me constantly to make sure I would pick up. I understand that, because they don't want to turn into a free storage unit. Everything was very smooth and all employees appear well trained to run an efficient business. Throughout the consignment I had called and asked questions, and they never made me feel like I was a bother. I highly recommend them to sell your items, because they will treat you right. read more
