My one piece of bitchery is due to the lack of parking; I have a car that I need to keep an eye on and I had to park far away which kept me a bit uncomfortable. The decor is superfunky and I felt like I had time warped back to the 80's when I'd shop in Orange County thrift stores near the Orange Circle. Cool as hell vibe and loved all the stickers and patches of the bands I grew up with at the check out counter. A great variety of vintage clothes from many decades and cool used & inexpensive broken in jeans. The Mork & Mindy lamp stopped me in my tracks - I had to ask the owner about it (Jen) who admitted to making it herself. Your art specialist has no talent for doing her job- she's rude and ignorant. If she can't google it she can't and doesn't establish a value to anything. She has no knowledge of art valuation, which allowed me to buy 2 under valued pieces, and prevented me from selling several others. -Stop damaging items entrusted to you for consignment. I saw the movers damage a coffee table, and laughed and said "oh man...oh well." And find a vendor that will AFFORDABLY transport consigned items to sell and when purchased- your relationship with S&D movers is a rip off! $175 hour + a two hour min. $350 just to drop off a consigned item. I emailed you to verify if that was correct, and the unsigned response ignored the question entirely- and asked "Have we approved the items you wish to bring in?" Again- drop the attitude and answer the question. Lastly, your customers are your best consultants- you are becoming a carbon copy of The Estate Sale Company.

I've been in here a few times and normally I have no expectations of finding anything. But the last few times, I have walked out with some fun things. A pair of shorts that still had the tags on. I don't think it's been worn or it could have been used for a styling shot. And this visit, I actually found some pieces that I already had a collection of so it was amazing to add to it. Never did I think I would find something like that. Also, a pair of lamps that looked amazing and falls with the mid century theme. Prices are great on some items while others, you think they're ridiculous. I also found out that weekday deals happen. This week anything with a blue tag was half off and that was for all departments. Another thing that was great to know, any of the electrical items has a week grace period incase you need to return it. That's something nice to know. Today score, a pair of mid century lamps for 29.99 for the pair. There's a few locations scattered throughout the valley which is nice. Also this location has a donation center where you could just drive up and drop things off. I've dropped off loads of things prior. If you like treasure hunting, this could be fun for you.
