The woman working the counter was very friendly and was overheard recommending other vintage stores to customers which earns mad respect from me. My one piece of bitchery is due to the lack of parking; I have a car that I need to keep an eye on and I had to park far away which kept me a bit uncomfortable. If you're shopping here from L.A. that will not bother you at all. I highly recommend spending quality time and money at Thriftology!

Women and young ladies of all ages were there pouring over the racks, all quite giddily announcing their finds and oohing and aaaahing over each other's selections. The shop's owner was busily taking care of several customers at a time by answering questions or ringing someone up - he never got a break! I used to own a vintage store and being in this shop gave me pangs of fond remembrance of the joy of vintage - both selling and buying. Tourists and locals alike were intermingled going through the racks that had both vintage and some high brand newer pieces in reasonable price points. Nothing too costume-y, just cool girl looks. I highly recommend!

Certain pieces in the racks of "too much print and color" were quite pretty, but having so much stuffed into the shop was a mistake. It made reviewing the pieces difficult, and gave an overall sense of gauche to the room. Service was non-existent during my time in the store, and the price was laughable. One piece in particular, a super cute wooden bracelet, reminded me of something my grandmother owned in the 80's and had purchased at a garage sale. Nothing I would ever pay $38 for, ever. I wouldn't return to Frippery.
