After visiting other stores in this shopping center I decided I would pop in and see what their…read moreofferings were, as I hadn't noticed this store before. I was immediately impressed by the expertly curated vintage decor with each furnishing and artwork playing beautifully off the other wonderful pieces. The vibe was elevated vintage glamour with tasteful restraint, with a punch of statement color. The prices were, in my opinion, quite reasonable for the unique and hard to find treasures of the past, especially in light of the effort that went into finding complementary furnishings that shoppers could buy in a suite and place in their home for instant fabulousness. I met a darling Havanese pup that was relaxing at the back of the store who likes to give kisses. In looking at the Thomas Troy website I see they specialize in many other things as well, including renovation, construction, design and project management services. Truly a one stop shop for a chic home lifestyle.

I have always found the staff, friendly and helpful. A year ago, I decided to move to Palm Desert and and continued my Residential Interior Design here. I've been to the store a few times. I am not sure what is happening at this location, "Palm Desert CA " , but the staff looks extremely unhappy. specifically one gentleman who calls himself the store manager but he is not. I have seen him picking fights with different clients almost every time I go there. I have tried to strike a friendly note with him, trying to calm him down. At one occasion, out loud, he was telling a client that his job is what people call "choose wisely" at the beginning of ones career. Once he was staring down at a client to a point where the lady started yelling " Are you staring me down? may I talk to your manager?" With a great attitude, he responded, "you are talking to him." Long story short, last time I was there I was doing heavy shopping for a 85 year-old woman. Nothing big knickknacks and kitchen items and Home Staples. I was doing a small project for her here at the desert. she has various ailments and I had to be careful choosing the right products for her, which is light enough and easy to operate. Thus it took me over two hours in the store to do selection of various items.. I think that had raised a red flag with the staff. I was treated so poorly there. I had over five workers approaching me and asking " can we help you with something? it seems you've been here for a long time . Every time I would respond, yes I am buying for a client. I need to make the right selections for to clients situation. Sorry this takes time. I do understand store security is important and shrinkage is a problem, but not everybody is a thief . I do believe I dress up nicely and present present not like a bum, so not sure what the issue was ? At the end, yes, the same man approached me aggressively with the same question. May we hrlp you? You have been here for a long time . I broke out in anger, saying "is there a problem sir? " I'm buying over $800 worth of products here. Nevertheless, I was followed by him until I went to the checkpoint and paid for the products and left the building. Funny enough, he knows me from previous purchases from him, which always has been over five to $600. I tried to make a complaint to their head offices. I got a email saying that my concern has been sent to the store manager Jennifer Martinez and she will get back with me shortly . This was a month ago and no one did. again, it's a pity. I love the store and most probably I will be shopping at their other locations, but this one definitely has some major staff issues . I will not be returning there. Who would like to be treated like that?......

I was impressed by the quality of the selection and the variety of eras and styles being sold, such as Art Nouveau, Victorian, Oriental, etc. The sheer volume of attractive wares was stunning, and it was a high pleasure to peruse the aisles of Delany's. I would have given 5 stars but I took one off for price/value as I noticed some items were inappropriately priced. There was a marble top 'antique Empire plant stand' for $425.00 that was not an antique, but a reproduction sold by the Bombay Company. Also, I overheard the sales lady quoting a price of $1,500 or $1,600 (I can't remember the exact amount) for a set of Fall of the Roman Empire books, which I was able to find and purchase on Ebay for $100 that evening. So do your research when you shop here and be sure you are paying the correct price.

And the moss, this place was the only place that I found a massive bag of moss for an amazing deal of 9.99 for the bag. Even other crafts stores varies about the same or more but for a way smaller bag. Instantly walking in the store, you're pretty much going to see something that'll catch your eye. I have to limit myself on what to come for and stick to that as it ends up being things I didn't need. But at the time I needed it then...lol.... Oh, during the holidays is the time it's alway loaded with amazing stuff and the deals are excellent. I dint know if it's a regular thing for them but I do love that they'll have loads of items on sale before the holidays so load up. Plenty of parking which is a major plus. No one there at any of the 4 registers. 10 feet away at the returns desk there 5 employees hanging out while only is tending to a customer. They see me standing at register ready to pay and was looking right at them, but they said and did nothing but continue to stand around the returns counter yuckin it up. I finally say something to the gaggle of them and only then does one of them say that I need to pay at the returns counter that they are all huddled around. What a bunch useless knuckheads. Do better! I typically only shop here when a really have no option for the specific hobby related item I need, but after this experience plus their well known lack of social inclusivity, I'm done.

This place would be your typical covered indoor mall. Theres not much to it besides the main stores with Macys, Dicks and JC Pennys as they're major department stores. They have some of the other basics you would get inside any mall. HM, Finish Line, Hollister, Lids, Vans, Bath and Body Works and so on. Your regular retail chain stores. It's a decent size mall that you could walk down the whole strip in no time. Not overly big. Lately whenever I pop in to windows shop, it's not that busy. But I guess now as school is starting soon it has picked up a lot. They do have some restaurants as well as smaller snack booth. It's sucks that this is the only mall in the desert. You would think that they would make it way better to cater to everyone. But I guess it's going well so far. Not a lot of stores that I've been to as they're new to me. Plenty of parking with outdoor as well as a covered parking structure in the back.

The first thing I saw was how FRESH and HEALTHY everything looked. The ingredients were vibrant and clearly prepared with care. After speaking with the owner, I learned this is a FAMILY OWNED business that recently opened, and I was one of their early customers. That made the experience even more meaningful. For my first visit, I tried the tuna wrap and it was AMAZING. The owner was PASSIONATE about the food and took the time to explain the menu and the value is great. You can tell there is real pride behind what they serve. They also offer WRAPS, FRESH SALADS, AND BURGERS, so there are plenty of options depending on what you want. The atmosphere was FRIENDLY, WELCOMING, AND FAMILY ORIENTED. If I am back at the mall, I will definitely come again. IF YOU ARE AT THE SHOPS AT PALM DESERT, GO UPSTAIRS AND CHECK OUT IT'S A WRAP. It's a mini shopping center that has a few little boutiques but mainly restaurants. The chain restaurants such as Yard house, PF Changs, Cheesecake Factory, and Dave and Busters. Then there's a few smaller restaurants. The main store that's the biggest out of the other boutique is REI. Besides that, it also house a movie theatre. From The looks of it, it looks pretty impressive. It's a cute walkway that with a mixture of Universal city walk and San Antonio River walk. Of course man made but a cute layout of the property. It's not that big and everything surrounds each other but it's worth a wander through. There's plenty of parking both to the side as well as plenty in the back lot. I think everything is pretty much out in the open as I didn't really see any covered parking spots. Location is amazing as it's pretty much near a lot of things. There's cute little spots throughout the desert that's worth checking out. I don't think it's someplace that you would hang out at for long. More for coming for a meal or the movies. You could walk around but there's nothing much from that.

She has no knowledge of art valuation, which allowed me to buy 2 under valued pieces, and prevented me from selling several others. -Stop damaging items entrusted to you for consignment. I saw the movers damage a coffee table, and laughed and said "oh man...oh well." And find a vendor that will AFFORDABLY transport consigned items to sell and when purchased- your relationship with S&D movers is a rip off! $175 hour + a two hour min. $350 just to drop off a consigned item. I emailed you to verify if that was correct, and the unsigned response ignored the question entirely- and asked "Have we approved the items you wish to bring in?" Again- drop the attitude and answer the question. Lastly, your customers are your best consultants- you are becoming a carbon copy of The Estate Sale Company.

We made a list of 8 consignment shops that reportedly dealt in similar pieces at similar price points and then toured each shop. Surprisingly, many of the popular local spots were dirty, disorganized, and showed little discernment in the pieces they took, one shop was filled with junk from IKEA and Target! Then we found PS Consignment Gallery! Their space is actually designed and flowslike a proper furniture gallery, in a way that makes sense, and each item is well cared for. Not only was Raffi and Carlos quick to respond, professional, and super friendly, they made the entire process easy, being the ONLY shop that even offered some sort of service to pick up our pieces. In a matter of weeks, they got top dollar for our pieces, even to our surprise, retaining much of our investment, even after we paid their portion. We are back with our third lot of pieces and couldn't be happier to trust our consignments with them. In a sea of shops that will take anything for a profit, they actually care about the furniture and the experience, in our experience.
