Pretty bummed about my experience here. I got some fried chicken (cause Tower Market chicken is the best) and the employee put four pieces of freshly fried chicken in my bag. Great so far... then I watched him take each piece out to replace it with older chicken that had been sitting a while! Then, a piece of chicken dropped on the counter, and he picked it back up and placed it back in the tray for someone else to get. He made no eye contact and seemed pretty cold, so I didn't say anything. Moral of the story? Go to the Indio or Coachella locations - they are better, friendlier, and the fried chicken is fresh. read more

I called at 5:35 to order chicken. I was told they stop frying chicken at 6. I said I'm glad I called now . It was a funny phone call because I was asked to be put on hold. I was told the person in charge of frying chicken was on break so she wouldn't have time to start a new batch before 6. It did do me any good to suggest that maybe the person in change of the chicken maybe wait till 6 to go on break. The girl then offered to take a for me for the next day. I dont have a car right now, waked in with my big grocery bag and the manager Kim immediately tried accusing me of stealing and looking "suspicious" I wasn't even in there 2 minutes. I need to bring my own bag because I take the bus and dont want to pay for a bag. Incredibly demeaning, rude, and obviously profiling people. Bad attitude, ugly eyebrows. Went to my cupboard and discovered I was all out of fried chicken. No problem, I'll just head on down to the local Tower Market for that crispy chicken. When I went, there were only wings and tenders left, so I got a pound of chicken, a pound of potatoes, and a cheese and jalapeno corn dog. Took it home and the family was happy. And the service was great! I want to give a shout out to Lissa. She was patient while I picked out the crispiest pieces, and didn't even judge me when I upgraded my order with a corn dog. read more

The local bicycle club typically stops here during a ride to top off water and grab some food. Half the rides were in line buying stuff some others just got water from the fountain machine. minutes agoNEW I was just inside I purchased chips and a soda. Then I paid separately for my clients' items. A man rang us up. I had laid my items to the side separate from my clients. As I am waiting for her to get her items from counter. Another employee, ASM Elena , walks up and begins scanning clients items , I told her already paid. She looks at me, not believing me , apparently. So we get our Paid for items and walk out. Then the ASM actually runs out of the store accusing me of stealing my chips and soda!!! She one receipt in hand, but not mine. So I went back in to her, got a refund. She tells me that the male cashier had walked away so she didn't know I had already paid. I said well I TOLD you I already paid!! I have NEVER been chased out or accused of stealing! Why would she give a refund if she believes I stole!?! If they gave receipts, maybe it wouldn't have been an issue! read more

I have been to a lot of "Tower Market" locations and I find them very useful. I mostly stop in to this particular location. They are pretty close to a true "one stop shop"! Service is always quick and friendly, food is satisfactory, great deals on drinks and they have a little bit of everything. Gas prices are average, I never find them to be the cheapest nor the most expensive - somewhere in between. Location is clean and convenient especially if you live in the COVE. Face coverings help reduce the spread of COVID-19. This is the message we have all been hearing from health officials. However, Tower Market is not enforcing this critical safety practices to protect their employees and their customers. I have been a Tower Market patron for years. I am extremely disappointed to say the least. After several visits wirh similar experiences and multiple complaints made to Ramsey, the owner, there has been no improvements. As the owner, he is not taking this mandatory safety requirements seriously. The lack of care and enforcement of face coverings in this establishment is appalling. What will it take? Employees and customers getting sick from Ramsey's lack of care regarding the health safety mandate? No wonder Riverside County cannot reopen and stabalize because of irresponsible buisness owners like Ramsey. During my visit today, I witnessed another incident. The store manager with no face covering, bumped into a customer as he exited the store. Ramsey, do the responsible thing! Show that you care about your employees and customers.There is no excuses for these incidents. Educate your employees and train your Managers. read more

Called this location to ask if they had Tania's Kitchen items and I was told very quickly that yes we do! So off I went to Tower Market La Quinta only to arrive and be told that no they don't have any! I walked around the market for a good 8 to 10 minutes while employees there watched and never asked what I was looking for, did I need help...zilch! Two guy employees were blocking the entrance to the refrigerator section & I walked up twice and they ignored me as they held their personal conversation. I finally grabbed a guy that was walking by & asked if he worked there & he said yes so I asked him where the items were. He said oh we don't have any! I told him that I had called a half hour ago and asked! He goes in the back & comes out with a guy that says oh my fault, sorry. No one said can I help with anything or that Tania's Kitchen would be delivering in an hour...ZILCH. Called Tania's kitchen and had another run around. You would think with Covid and all this stuff going on people would be kinder, more helpful. NOPE. I will never go in here again, first and last. read more

4 Stars because for the 2nd day in a row I've came out to this store and they've been closed. Store hours say they close at 11pm but yesterday I came by around 10:20pm and they were closed, I figured maybe they had a reason for closing early yesterday but today again here it is 10:44pm and they are closed again. Look closely at your receipt. These people have 1 price at the shelf, and another at the register oftentimes -- ALWAYS higher, NEVER lower, and on nearly half the items they sell. I've been to several of their Coachella Valley stores and it's been this way going back several years as a part of their business model. Ripping off the people. Not cool! So I only get gas here when I'm on empty and I know I can't make it to another gas station, except lately their gas prices have been pretty good and about the same as the other gas stations. It was a warm day, so I went in to their market to get a drink. Walking in, the store was much cuter and bigger than I had anticipated. Before the mini mart was literally, MINI compared to what this is now. The prices of the drinks are still good, and they have a little liquor or beer section at the right of the store. I wasn't able to walk around to see what else they had, but next time I'm definitely walking around to see what else they have to offer. Not a typical gas station store! read more

We love to support Old town La Quinta by patronizing as many local businesses as possible. They closed for a very short while as they expanded and it was worth the wait. Very clean and not so cramped anymore and they have fried chicken. Important if you have loved ones that enjoy such things. Before we head out of town we like to gas up and get a large Arnold Palmer for the road, and various other munchies. Don't be surprised if you bump into your neighbors so dress appropriately. Here are the great things about Tower Market: -SURPRISE DISCOVERY EVER at gas/mart! DE-LICIOUSLY BATTERED FRIED CHICKEN! Seriously, in the front case by register are piled high with Crispy Chicken Breasts. Clerk said best chicken in the Coachella Valley so I risked it and ordered a piece. He was right....AWESOME FRIED CHICKEN...Strangely, I not only get my gas here but Tower Market is my new go-to for to-go Fried Chicken. Other good things about Tower Market...... -CLEAN bathrooms that are stocked with appropriate supplies on the INSIDE of market = safer for all -No special "code or key" needed to use bathroom -One time bathrooms were occupied and I couldn't hold it so I peed in the bushes (desperate times). Clerk preserved my dignity by not saying anything. -Nicest looking convenience market with gas....clean, nice colors, well-stocked and organized -Unlike most convenience marts, the lighting is not blindingly bright -Usual mix of product, but locally sourced goodies as well. -Separate refrigerated room full of a wide variety of merchandising liquor and beer. -Friendly and nice staff Never thought I'd feel compelled to offer a great review of a gas/mini mart but Tower Market does it oh-so-well above and beyond the competition. read more

This is one of the better gas stations in the valley. Always clean, staff is consistently friendly and polite, the mart is always fully stocked with most anything you need. The liquor and beer selection is pretty awesome too. Oh! And their fried chicken is the bomb! read more
