Rats are in the backroom with the food. Bathrooms always have a strong smell. Employees forget to replace expired food. Employees forget to update prices, and leave them labeled cheaper than they actually are. This target forgets to update that items are either out of stock or in stock. You cannot depend on the Target App. Check out lane workers can be very rude, and not welcoming. Workers never prioritize people waiting for locked items. I have waited a long time. This target does not prioritize customer service. I don't recommend this place at all. 0/5 stars. read more

A lot of the merchandise is locked up and it feels like nobody in the store answers the assistance sensors to notify someone to unlock the cabinets. It usually takes 20-40 minutes to get help. You'll be here all night if you need to buy more than two items in cases. read more

Coercive Sales Behavior by a Staff Member I came here hoping to have a simple, peaceful shopping experience -- and for the most part, the store itself is well-stocked and organized. However, my visit was deeply disrupted by a middle-aged Chinese woman working at or near the entrance. She repeatedly tried to sell me something I had no interest in. I politely signaled that I did not want to engage, but she ignored all my cues and continued to push, talking over me, stepping into my personal space, and making me feel extremely uncomfortable. What hurt the most wasn't just the behavior itself -- it was the familiar sense of being cornered, disrespected, and treated like my refusal meant nothing. I left China to get away from that kind of social pressure. Being on the receiving end of it again, in a supposedly free society, is frustrating and painful. I'm sharing this because I believe all customers deserve to shop without being coerced or guilt-tripped. It's not okay to pressure someone who's clearly not interested. I was in line at Register #9 when an employee named Ko Ko informed me that I was the last customer before the register closed, Ko ko stood behind me for a few minutes to direct other customers to use register #10. However, when I reached the cashier, she refused to serve me, stating that the person before me was the last customer. I explained to her that Ko Ko had specifically told me I was the last in line, but when I asked him to confirm, he denied remembering our conversation and directed me to Register #10. I insisted that he had told me face-to-face to wait at Register #9 and requested that he check the video footage to verify this. Instead, he refused, stated that he had done the right thing, and even threatened to call security on me. I ultimately paid for my items at Register #10, but I felt extremely disrespected and unfairly treated, as though I was being accused of lying or not following instructions when I had done exactly as I was told. read more

Just business as usual Really it's a standard Target. It's not like the one in San Diego's Westfield Mission Vally where it's two stories or has a parking garage like Honolulu West (I know you read those reviews). It's a typical target who claim to fame is it's in a mall. Wait Ala Moana comes to mind. Anyway this place has a little bit of everything and is stocked. So they do get busy but if you're concerned about social distancing they do keep count of how many people are inside. It's just the customer need to respect the 6ft rule. Overall four stars. A well stocked and clean Target that is easy to navigate. I'm usually able to find what I need pretty quick and be in and out in a jiffy. They have a wide selection of options in their grocery section, including some organic products which is a plus. The store is connected to the mall so you can go and do some additional shopping at your leisure. The only con is that Serramonte shopping center is typically a mad house and it can be a challenge to find parking. And pretty much whenever I come, no matter how random the day or time, there are always a ton of people in this store. read more

I'd purchased an item with the target app. Item was sold and shipped by one of targets affiliated 3rd party vendors. Item did not work out so I went to serramonte target to return it. The lady at the return counter could not process the return and asked another employee for help. The 2nd employee tried to process the return and then told me the item could not be returned to store and I had to ship it back to the vendor for refund. My receipt clearly stated that item was "return in store only". He then said there was nothing he can do. Longer story short, an employee at the Stonestown Target was able to process my return and refund in less than 5 minutes by "manually" entering required info. Lo, and behold - the saving grace of the entire Serramonte Center! This location is HELLA busy, if not, it's ALWAYS hustlin' & bustlin', and burstin' at its seams - due to the convenient location & free parking! And it's pretty much the closest legit Target to the City of the Bay that gives the reason why it's convenient. (there are Target locations within San Francisco, but you can't compare the one here & down the hill in Colma - just sayin', haha!) Despite having another store less than a mile away in Colma, this store used to be a Montgomery Ward way back in the day - and having opened up at the mall since 2002, it has been among the more successful branches in the Bay Area, due to the proximity to the metropolis - AND it complements with the Colma location due to the large population, as the region is large enough to profitably support both stores. The only difference is that this store at Serramonte is slightly larger, with 20 percent more retail space, within its walls - precisely about 140,000 square feet - AND it has an entrance within the mall's corridor, providing easy access to do more fun (to shop and eat LOL). This store has all the basics and essentials you'll typically find in a Target store, let alone, a Starbucks kiosk for those wanting a caffeine boost while roaming the aisles of the store. I've always paid a visit to this store whenever I find myself at Serramonte, and it has gone through several revamping and renovations, as the years progressed, making it a more aesthetically-pleasing environment for all to get their Target runs done! Despite the negative reviews, the parking jihad outfront, and the short-staffed cash registers, just be patient & you'll soon be out & done to go about your day! This Target had horrible customer service. I called the store 10 times and they didn't answer until my last call. They said they prioritize customers only in store but I had questions about my online pickup order, that still makes me a customer. When they finally answered I asked my questions and the worked didn't even seem to know what to do with my situation. These workers need better training or at least call a manager or another associate if they are unsure how to help me or future customers. Never placing an online order here again! This was a great experience even during this pandemic. Here's the reason why. First off this target practices social distancing and made shopping at ease. Yes there was a long line to get inside to shop, but it was well structured no complaints here. The aisles were clear and clean, employees had cask masks on and gloves. I used self checkout and Mikayla assisted us during checkout. She was patient with us as we had a lot of price adjustments. Very great team of employees at this target. Hmmm...I must be in California when I pay a quarter for a "paper bag" but all I can find are plastic bags. I'm used to better service at Target! My Cali family sent photos to be processed & printed at this location...what a mistake! There was no signage WHERE to pick up the photos-just a LONG line in customer services (mostly ppl returning stuff from Christmas). Then my loved one finds out that the 8x10 photograph wouldn't be ready until the next day.....REALLY? Because we are NOT standing in another long line tomorrow because it wasn't ready today! The order (INCLUDING the 8x10) was rung up by the customer service employee, so we had to politely remind them we were NOT ordering the 8x10 since we weren't coming back. That took awhile to figure the correct price, so I bet the other customers behind us in line hated us. read more

They even offer a "Minority Vendor Program" that can lead you into branding your products, and will support you in every way. This location is SUPER BUSY! During peak time, it is "bumpa-to-bumpa" RED carts everywhere. If "Ru-Paul" shopped here, "SHe" would say, "Lyp-sync for your life!" No need to worry, as busy as this location gets, you will have great service. In fact, during my last visit, a very nice team member introduced me to CARTWHEEL! She showed me where to download the app, and from there on... lots of savings opened up. She must have read my mind because my cousins were visiting from Manila, and I am sure you can relate especially if you are Filipino, you have to buy something! Otherwise, they will keep shaking your hand until you slip a $100 bill!!! And so, I got them a tablet, got 15% off using my CARTWHEEL on top of the 15% sale price!! What huge savings!! Probably the best thing Target ever did was install their doo-doop machines where you could look up the price of whatever it is that you're holding. Brilliant, convenient technology. It's a Target much like any other but stocked better than my own local Target, so I often wait until list is long enough and venture here. Easy parking and plenty of friendly people around to ask for help whenever I need. read more

This is the Second Time I ordered merchandise and was CHARGED for it & it was not available when I got to the store. The first time was a year ago for a heater, received an email that my order was ready. I drove ALL the way there. They Sold it!!!Today, I ordered a piece of clothing, same scenario. . I received an email, ready for pick up. Two hours later I got to the store. Out of caution, checked my email, in the parking lot. Same thing, Sorry, no longer available??? Apparently, DC Target takes your money for merchandise they don't have. I think this is illegal? The fact that both purchases were a Year apart and I have only ever ordered in store pick up twice. This Target made me super stressed out. I don't know why, but when we arrived on a random Sunday there were like 999 people in the store. I saw a ton of people line up for $0.99 eggs. Some people were walking away with 10 (!) cartons of eggs. It was also a bit hard to find everything we wanted in the store. Beware! If you're going to come here and use self-checkout, there's a creepy security employee who stands around the area, WATCHES you pay, and still ASKS to see your receipt. I came here with my boyfriend to purchase a furniture item. After paying, we walk out of the self-checkout area. Mind you, my boyfriend was carrying this item on his shoulder because we didn't want to touch the carts. As we continued to walk, this creepy short guy just snuck up on him and ask to see the receipt we bought for one item. He didn't even bother checking anyone else.
