Absolutely DELICIOUS.....and drinks are on point not a big place but very comfortable and never over crowded

Solid tacos and tostadas. This place is legit. Really cranking out some good stuff. You walk in and people are moving at the speed of light and it seems like a place solely for take out but you'd be wrong! They have a really sweet server out front that welcomes you in and seats you in a large dining area right through the next room. Once seated you get a fresh basket of fried tortilla chips and homemade sweet/spicy salsa. They have a huge menu of everything Mexican that you can ever want. But my go-to's here are always the tostadas or the tacos. Everytime I come here I always get 3 tostadas with all the fixings: one carnitas, one steak, and one lengua (tongue, don't be grossed out, tongue is real eaters food and it is delicious, tender, and packed full of flavor). With that, I drizzle on copious amounts of the homemade green sauce and I'm set. I always leave this place full and happy. read more

Friendly hostess/server. Got the grilled tilapia fish tacos with rice and beans last night. Onions cilantro and avocado on the flour tacos. A bit moist but I wasn't expecting fried fish and the tortillas didnt rip so ok. Very generous in the amount of fish with minimal seasoning. I enjoyed the crunchiness of the complimentary chips and salsa. The horchata was a-ok. They do calculate the tax into the suggested tip calculator. No frills. Not sure if I would come again but I dont live anywhere near and the experience was satisfactory. read more

It's a small spot and an open kitchen so expect to smell like food. The food is tasty and has a good amount of portion. I really don't mind smelling delicious when I come out of here. The guacamole was on point! The quesadillas are so good, my favorite is the mole and my second favorite is the green sauce. Also, the tamale was moist and addicting. I love tamales, but sometimes other places tend to make it dry, not here. Service is so so, there is somewhat of a language barrier because the waitress does not speak English well. She was really nice and sweet. read more

This place always hits the spot their food is delicious and authentic I order at least once a week !

The food was bursting with flavor. I ordered through Yelp and the food was on time and delicious. We had the shrimp taco bowl steak taco bowl veggie taco bowl fried sweet plaintains fish tacos steak burrito w/extra avocado chicken quesadilla Everything was absolutely amazing. The veggies were crisp and fresh, you could taste the cilantro in the avocado. Great job and hats off to these guys. read more

Taquitos Mexico - Posole rojo and tostadas for me. Enchiladas poblanas and mojito for my husband. - Mexican Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Came here for lunch during the weekend. The place is small, with a few dine-in tables (the place caters mainly for takeout). We ordered the guac with fresh tortilla chips, and waiter recommended the popular porky burrito. I wanted to try the store's horchatas drink, since it was a hot day. The horchata reminded me of a drinkable bubble gum. Maybe its their combination of cinnamon and almond milk, but it was almost like drinking a bazooka joe. Overall, food was pretty tasty. The average cost on my bill was just about $17bucks. read more

I didn't noticed I've ordered 2 different taco but it was really great! If you guys into half crispy and tender? pork. I've been coming here since I moved to Cali and this is probably the best Mexican restaurant in the area. My favorite here is the Carnitas in any form. Burrito, taco, tostada and torta. Their porky burrito is pretty good. Only down fall of this place is that they never add enough cheese for their quesadillas. Tip: They are better with their to-go and delivery orders. Takes forever to eat at the restaurant. read more

Another satisfied meal at my now most favorite Mexican joint. Got the spicy pork huaraches, perfectly seasoned, good amount of kick, lots of lettuce, tomatoes and quesco fresco. Derek ordered chicken mole, which were rich and smokey, served with rice and beans. Kaylen had fries and chicken wings, crispy on the outside, piping hot and juicy inside, fried in a tasty batter. Just like our last visit, gotta have their lip smacking good sauces! Red smokey chili sauce and a delectable green chili tomatillo sauce...mm mmm MMM! Wait! Before we leave, gotta get their flan to go! Last time we had the regular one(velvety), this time we got the coconut, cannot wait to taste it later as soon as I get home! read more

Just visited this restaurant on Palm Sunday after church with my parents. They brought out complimentary chips and salsa. Being that it was my parents first trip to an authentic Mexican restaurant ( its no tex-mex) they were eager to try something new. We ordered the fish in garlic sauce, placita mexico, more chips w guac, and the gordito. The two entrees came w rice and beans so it was easy to share amongst ourselves. Ambiance: Tiny spot for takeout mostly. Service: These guys were serving food, cooking, and setting up delivery/takeout simultaneously. Yet still managed to be kind & attentive. Food: Delicious, flavorful,well-prepared, huge serving size and did I say delicious? Yeah, good things. Price: Cheap & that works for me. Would I come here again? Yes. & I will. read more

Last time I ever order from here. Called to place an order. Guy answered and told me to wait. He put the phone down and answered another call coming in. I could hear him speaking Spanish to the customer who called after me. He took that person's order before mine. I was holding for 10 minutes while he took his time to talk to me. After 10 minutes on hold, he took my order. I could barely hear him speak and he could barely hear me since the music and background noise was so loud. I had to repeat my order several times. Then I told him a was going to use my credit card. He told me to hold on and surely enough, he decided to answer other calls coming in who where placing orders. After another 10 min, he came back on the phone and took my credit card information. I had to repeat myself 4 times because he obviously couldn't hear me due to all the noise in his background. I was about to ask him how long for delivery, and he hung up. I called him back and let him have it. I told him cancel my order immediately and I'll never order from you again. He said he couldn't refund my credit card. Ha Ha That's absolutely B.S any merchant can credit your credit card once its processed. I hung up on him and called my Credit card company. As I was on the phone with them, my door bell rings and guess who it was. Yup its was the delivery. How is it that the guy who took my order said it would take 45 min then when In told him to cancel my order, it arrived literally within 10 minutes. I told the delivery guy that I told the guy on the phone that I didn't want it anymore. Trying to speak to a delivery guy who only spoke Spanish was yet another highlight to my evening. He finally left with the food. I hope the owners of this business read these reviews because others have had the same problem. Update: At 10:30pm. 3 hours after I told the delivery guy that I had canceled the order and I didn't want it anymore, my next door neighbor called me on the phone and asked if I had a delivery that was on my steps. I thought it was a package delivery so I went outside to see what it was. Guess what? The delivery guy decided to leave the food on my steps. I hope this place closes its doors. They are pathetic and have absolutely no business ethics. read more

Time stamp: 5:50pm- Order placed for PICKUP and told to come in 20mins 6:15pm- arrived to pick up the food 6:30pm- was told it'll be another 10 mins 6:53pm- food finally in my hand. An hour and 3 mins for two entrees and some guacamole? RIDICULOUS. Two stars for having the best Mexican food in the area but an hour and 3 mins for food? On top of that, no apology until the very end. "Here's your food, sorry about the wait." read more

TL;DR: they brushed off my several phones calls only to realize they never actually started making my order an hour and a half later on my third phone call!! They kept saying yeah yeah it's on the way, 10 min, anything to get me off the phone. Even hung up on me once. It was ONE burrito, and I'm 6 min away..... AVOID DELIVERY AT ALL COSTS. I placed my order via Yelp (GrubHub handles it) and was super excited to enjoy my chicken burrito for lunch since I haven't eaten all day. It was taking way longer than it said it would (45-55min, the place is only .6 miles from me... 6 min in car) so I called and I was brushed off. They said yeah yeah it's on the way. I didn't like how I was spoken to, so I called again. The guy said it would be there within the next 10, that the delivery was out.... 15 min later I call again and someone else says it will be out for delivery in the next ten minutes and hangs up on me. Now I'm getting frustrated. So I give them a few minutes and call back. This person is like huh??? We don't have any deliveries for that place. To which I am extremely confused. Then he says hold on and he clearly starts rummaging through something and asking people, then he says my name and he's shocked. He says they totally missed the order and they'll whip it up right away...... there's 15 min left of my lunch break at this point. KEEP IT!!! Called grub hub for a full refund. It took them an hour and a half to realize my order was placed, even though I called them several times to ensure it was on the way. That goes to show they just say anything to shut people up. No one really checked for my order. read more

This place used to be a 4 star but after the renovation, it seems like they changed chefs and the quality of food went down hill. The chips are way over fried and too oily. This used to be a Spanish place we go to when we are in the neighborhood but no more! read more

This spot can either be a hit or miss, that's all I will say. Margaritas are great all the time though !!

I love Mexican and I'm always on the hunt for hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurants that serve bomb food. Well my friends, if you're like me, look no further because taquitos Mexico is just that! This unassuming restaurant is slowly garnering attention, evidenced by their expansion into the space next to it. It used to be a super small/take out atmosphere, but it now has enough seating for small groups and couples! Tacos are extremely affordable at 3 for $10. You can choose the basic (cilantro and onion only) or "everything" tacos which have the cheese/cilantro/onion/tomatoes/lettuce/cream. Get the everything and thank me later. It's filling and satisfying... You won't need more than 3! Well, maybe a side of guac which is also bangin! ;) I will say that their chicken tacos are OK but on the blander side compared to the other meats. Try the tongue (I know, sounds weird but actually delicious). The chorizo tasted like slow cooked pork but pan fried and ample amount of meat. I'm a queens girl but this is one more reason to give Brooklyn a shot :) read more

I am a fan of this place! Previously I only frequented tacos el Bronco and matamorros but I think I found a new favorite! This place is cleaner the service is friendlier and faster and oh yea the food is better! Tacos goes from $2-3 and tostadas are around the same too and they are both delicious! I really like the sauce they give with the free chips and their green sauce for the tacos is very spicy. The only complaint I would have is that their tacos are a little bland but once you add the green sauce everything just goes together. At the other restaurants it would take me two small taco and one large one to get full, whereas over here one large taco and one large tostada I'm all set! Their strawberry milkshake is delicious too but someone should introduce them to the large bubble tea straws because trying to drink their milkshake out of those tiny straws are impossible read more

The best neighborhood taco joint - hands down. Its cheap, it's flavorful, it's fast, it GETS THE JOB DONE. Andddd if you eat there they give you free salsa and chips!! The salsa seems home made and it's a mix between sweet and spicy - it's pretty different from other salsas I have tried before. My favorite things to order from here are the spicy pork tacos with everything and enchiladas mole. Honestly it's an amazing deal and I hope they don't raise their prices or become bougie because they are getting more customers so I can keep coming. I love this place. read more

I really didn't want to write this review... Food reviews are fairly simple for me and for the establishment to achieve; serve good food AND good service and you have a winning equation. So on the first part this place actually above average the food was tasty fresh and very good tasting. The service however a total different story, I don't know if there was a language barrier or the lady at the counter was overwhelmed juggling phone calls and taking orders of physical patrons. I speak fluent Spanish my 2 friends however do not and as a result there were 3 extra items added to the order, a total of $25 extra to the order, that we HAD to take and the employees didn't even try to accommodate us. Is that a way to conduct business?? Just add random items (even if not intentional) and just expect the customers to pay for them? EDIT: The staff was told about the mistake shortly after paying, the order was still being prepared and didn't offer a resolution read more

Super tasty, would recommend! So far I've tried the: - Chicken torta with Chipotle Chicken: Hearty sized Mexican sandwich, better to eat right away before the bread gets soggy - Tamale Oaxaquenos: The chicken inside was so delicious - Soft Tacos Poblanos: The grilled chicken one was a little dry in my opinion but the al pastor taco is a must! So sweet, savory and caramelized. Quite juicy so expect to get messy :) - Bistec a la Tampiquena with rice and black beans: the grilled steak is very flavorful. - Spicy salsa: I've tried 3 of their salsas. The light green one is my absolute favorite. The dark green is also pretty good. Though the red salsa was way too spicy for me :) Delivery: From Seamless, takes about 30-40 min so I'd order in advance. Delivery guys are always friendly. Overall, all the dishes I've tried are VERY tasty. Will be ordering again! read more

Our new go to taco joint! We usually order chicken tacos and chips with guacamole. Their guacamole is AMAZING! Their flan is pretty good as well. If your sick, their chicken soup is truly medicine for the soul...so hearty and filling! Delivery has never been an issue for us. It's an authentic Mexican spot serving food at reasonable prices. The only con is that the chips tend to be very greasy. read more

I could let my picture do the talking for me; I ordered from here 3 days in a row! I have so much green sauce left over! The everything tacos with cream and cheese are delicious although I would have loved more cream and cheese on them. The regular tacos are as tasty as you would hope.
